Pret A Manger in City of London, Westminster

It's a Pret, what more can I say than it's brilliant.

People, this is a fine place! Stop with the complaining already. It is standard Pret food and decor, but the atmosphere is warm, friendly and neighborly. The service today was rapid and excellent. My coffee was strong and hot. Just what I needed.

This pret is full of kids who aren't customers and squatting all tables every morning. Staff doesn't care, and you will witness a lot of laughable behaviour, such as running around, doing their schoolwork, spreading their boggies on furniture, taking their own breakfast or energy drink out of their bags. No shame. Out of the 30 people around me I am the only paying customer who actually bought a coffee. Whatever happened to staff not being afraid to tell people to leave if they're not buying ? Especially when unsupervised and under age... What a joke. I am sure they will delete my review as they did before

One of the better locations of Pret. Spacious and quiet. On a corner so if you get a window table, it's a very enjoyable place to sit and sip your tea or coffee. Lots of space, makes for a great spot to catch up with a friend.

Meh. It's the Starbucks of London. There is literally one every block. Decent food if you don't want to wait. Very overpriced for what you get.

A nice large coffee shop, very good friendly service when I ordered and paid but they forgot to make my coffee as it was pretty busy.

Wouldn’t make an ice chocolate, which is bizarre considering all other Pret’s do so? Extremely rude staff. Became argumentative and rude when asked why.

Toilets have been shut for over a year now because they were frequently visited by homeless people and the staff had enough of cleaning up after them. Fact.

Food / drinks were great but staff had real attitude for some reason

I've visited this coffee shop three times over the past three months - once three months ago, again a month ago, and today. Unfortunately, each time I was told that the toilet was out of order. Considering this is a well-known franchise, it's disappointing to see such a consistent issue with the facilities. While I enjoy the coffee and the ambiance, the recurring inconvenience of an unavailable restroom significantly affects the overall experience. I hope to see improvements in the future very soon, as I do frequent this location often.

Toilet not in use. Saw staff using toilet. Challenged staff that they are not working but I was told, staff only. I said, so there not broken. Still wouldn't let me use the toilet. Disgusting.

For about 4 months so permanently, the toilets, they have been closed. It's a BIG, busy place, serving a variety of foodstuff plus drinks. Is this even legal? It shows if nothing else an abject apathy by their manager towards the customer base.

It was freezing in this pret The employees weren't too bothered and none too friendly but the manager Ranuca was fabulous. She put the heating on gave me a warm drink and was really lovely Great customer service. Now the staff need to learn from her Thank you Ranuka!

My tuna cucumber sandwich had way too much mayo, and my husbands crayfish sandwich was actually too dry. Otherwise great, as usual.

There were no toilet facilities available. Poor show 👎

I can’t believe the Mac was burnt, unfortunately it wasn’t enjoyable. Hopefully next time I go there I have better luck

Honestly, I'm not really a Pret a manger guy, but I found myself having only this option. I decided to have breakfast here with my sister. She got a croissant which tastes pretty average (might be because we're used to italian cuisine) and I got the worst excuse of a hot chocolate. It literally tasted like dirty water. When I tried to take the plastic lid off, it broke and I spilled chocolate all over my coat. The staff looked like they were in a rush even though there were just like 1-2 customers in line, and didn't put the lid on right (Like, babe, what's the hurry?)

Horrendously overpriced. Be prepared to pay even more than the already extortionate prices if you want to actually eat inside too. Poor food options.

Rude server who rolled her eyes when I asked her to remake my 4 year old son's hot chocolate because she made it scolding hot despite me ordering warm.

It's hard to rate pret differently across the board as it's a chain that stays on brand so a fault in one is generally the same across others However here there are a few problems. It's a large pret despite the entrance being small, that expands the further you walk in, and yet there is only two PowerPoints in the entire premises. Now add to that there is a girls college nearby that flood the shop with nearly half the seating and loud and disruptive, it's this prets fault? No. But it's at the mercy of it's location, so avoid break times to not get swamped with kids. A general problem with pret also is the huge price hike of all their foods , then they advertise that your subscription gives you 20% off..... from the 40% increase of their food range this year alone. However, pret staff in general are well trained and give good service as per SOPs, so no problems there overall.

Clean Prett, with a nice seating area towards the back. The baristas are usually very friendly and I have never had any complaints. They usually greet you with a smile which just adds to the nice atmosphere. I like this Prett because it is quite peaceful, unlike most Pretts it doesn’t feel very noisy 🙂

Man was too lazy to put my cup in the sleeve and dumped it next to me, and walked away, expecting me to do it myself. The place wasn’t busy, I was the only one there.

i love pret but this one seems like its been forgotten and the service from the man who served me was poor. No greeting, no eye contact. His face made it seem like me being there was a problem.

Old fruit salad that I had to spit out. It's gone off and shouldn't be on the shelves. There was hardly anything else on the shelves, and I wonder why were they open at all this morning...

A really nice Pret A Manger. We visited here on the weekend after going to the Tate Modern. There was plenty of food available and the service was very quick. There was also plenty of seating available and we had no problem finding seating for our group.

This has to be the most pleasant pret to visit . Staff are polite always smile and the service is second to no other pret . Most important they always keep the toilets open unlike many other prets who keep putting signs up as not to clean in my opinion. So top marks again to vauxhall Bridge so happy it's my local . Thanks to all the members of the team for making our visit a pleasant one .

I used to be regular a few years back when prices and portions were better. My hummus wrap was very average unfortunately.

Theres a very rude worker who has brown hair and the hair is in a bun. I ordered a drink and she was very rude,disrespectful, etc. all my friends that have ordered from this pret have also complained about her to me

I recently visited this Pret and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The shop was clean and tidy, with a great range of food and drinks available. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially towards my children. I appreciated how accommodating the staff were towards my children, making sure they were comfortable and providing high chairs when needed. It's not often that you find a food establishment that is so welcoming towards families with young children, and I was grateful for the effort that the staff put in to make us feel at home. The food and drinks specially coffees were delicious, and I appreciated the variety of options available. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Pret and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, welcoming environment with great food and drinks. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and their friendliness and professionalism were truly exceptional.

Siempre que visitamos Londres, paramos en un pret a manger ya que tienen buenos sandwitches y wraps para comer algo rapido y seguir visitando lugares. El precio es correcto. Lo unico malo es que vas paseando por londres y cada 100m encuentras uno. Creo que es excesivo y cansa. Cada vez hay menos variedad

I need to use a toilet, staff said that they cleaned the toilet and it's closed. We can't use it

They don't always get things right but they do serve you and have a good customer service. i will continue using this place for my quick coffee. I wish if they would open on Saturdays & Sundays. Thank you Pret for considering weekend opening times.

Clean, well maintained, very busy branch. Looks small from the outside but deceiving large at the back with lots of tables with comfy chairs. Only complaint is that the music is often too loud and sometimes difficult to have a conversation. Other than that, it is a nice branch.

Staff are nice, there are power outlets, not tried the WiFi but there is WiFi available. It's a standard Pret but not too busy.

Staff lack deaf awareness training and meeting the needs of disabled people. I'm not racist when I haven't heard something I ask for it to be repeated.

Opening hours on Pret website clearly say open until 17:00, but at 14:30 they say seating area closing in half an hour. Judging from other reviews and past experience it seems this is now routine. Also half the time they’re not making smoothies and stuff like orange juice is out of stock. Really frustrating.

When online it clearly states they close at 5, theyve already shut down an hour early and made me waste a trip to that spot. clearly shows the staff do not care and not uptaining the companies rules. extremely disappointing for a well known company to be run by a bunch of careless idiots

Catena di ristoranti. Una sorta di versione francese di starbucks Adatto soprattutto per una colazione con croissant o altri dolci francesi. Perfetto Per un caffè o un cappuccino. Non molto da mangiare per pranzo e cena.

The place has gone downhill, as if the staff are getting orders wrong purposely! So it’s only Tuesday and so far, I was made to wait 10 minutes after the babycino was made, so I asked for my order and they seem to have no idea that it was there, meanwhile a cappuccino was left on the counter unclaimed ( I assume they made the wrong thing). Second time, I was given a “gingerbread latte” without the gingerbread spices, it was so flavourless. Third time today, I asked for a macaroon hot chocolate and it was the worst hot chocolate I’ve ever tasted, watery and tasteless.

Amazing! I love the salmon salad it is very tasty. Sometimes they do not have it though but anything in pret is great. The staff are always kind and provide the best service.

Very rude managers, one time i noticed them dancing at the counter istead of doing their work. They close the shop fee minutes early.

Whenever I come here I'm struck by how slow the service is compared to other cafés. It's a big and busy, and I don't think the staff go about things in the most efficient way which slows things down. There's lots of seating, but it's very loud and echoey as there's not enough soft furnishings to absorb the sound. It's not a peaceful place.

Well came in to what I thought would be a quiet lunch. However the Music was so loud I could barely hear my self think!! Felt like I was in a night club

Horrible service!! Baristas and manager were very rude between them and the customers! You could tell that they were not on the mode to work at all. A went a couple of days ago in the morning, and this attitude is definitely not something you want to see that first thing in the morning. Shop was very dirty and staff was chatting between them rather than serving customers. Had to wait several minutes to order and then even more to get a latte! Manager was also very rude, that’s why I did not bother to complain at the time. Avoid if you can!

I came to Pret 6:15pm and toilets were closed. Closing time is 7pm.

Food was good but the restrooms were absolutely filthy and the speakers would randomly blast music before turning off again

Indeed, the person who worked there was very disrespectful. I asked for ice chocolata and then I said, "Can I change to Frappi? The girl cashier who was very respectful said, "Yes, she changed for me, but someone else worked there, She was indeed disrespectful. She spoke to her very disrespectfully, because she changed my order. "I don't know how these kinds of people work in these places." Please you must meet your customer’s request and you should be make your customers to visit again. This’s the first and last time I visit this place.

The way they decide to change their closing times is disrespectful. For instance, on Sundays they close at 4 pm. Today I have been refused access at 15:54, six minutes before their closing time.

Perfectly good Pret with a true TARDIS experience - the little front bit masks a really big seating area behind the tills. Nice and bright too. Selling all the bananas, coffees, sandwiches that every other Pret does too.

Bright and clean Pret, nice for sitting and having a chat. Very busy during rush hour, but customers are served as quickly as the staff can manage. Most of the baristas are very young and seem exhausted most of the time, but they're doing their best. They want to get people served and on their way as fast as possible. The manager here is a nice guy. There is no wheelchair access here. There's a step up that's about 6 inches to get into the shop. There is a toilet though, and plenty of seating at any time of day.

Ignorant staff, playing loud music in the kitchen spoiling the atmosphere for all customers. High prices and horrible environment.

Still no hot breakfast options for vegans. No toastie vegan options either. Cups are also non-recyclable?? These guys can afford recyclable cups being a international mega company. Shop elsewhere!! Shop small! #boycottpret
