We went for the pre theatre menu but unfortunately food was very underwhelming. The onion soup was bland and the duck leg was very tough. The price point seemed reasonable but still not worth it given the quality

Great restaurant which wouldn’t be out of place in France. Fix price menu was great value and the Entrecôte food as superb. Excellent veggie choices.

Friendly staff and the restaurant is in a great location with good value for lunch and dinner with selections of set menu before 6.30 pm.

The service was top-tier, the staff warm and professional. We were there for a meal before the theatre and the food was great. As we would have been running late for the performance, we were told by the restaurant that we could come back after it finished, for our pudding. This is despite the staff being run off their feet with Christmas parties and the restaurant being fully booked! Five stars!

What a find! We had tickets for matinee of Les Miserables & had booked for lunch. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from theatre. We had walked from Covent Garden - 10 minutes away. We were immediately welcomed, service was efficient & professional throughout. We had lunch menu - excellent choices, all beautifully presented & very tasty. Fantastic value for money, particularly considering the location in central London. Nothing not to like here, can’t wait to return, thank you for a superb lunch!

We had a late lunch during a day trip to London. This place is a real find! The food was very good and the portion sizes just right. The service was great. It was busy even at 2pm - this is obviously a very popular restaurant with good reason. This is exceptional value for the quality of the food and service. We will certainly go again when in London.

It was one of those nights where every place we turned to, turned as away with either we are full, or we ran out of food or come back in 1 hr explanation. So we decided to give the prix fixe brasserie a try. By the way what a horrible name for a restaurant. The name doesn't do justice to the quality of food served up. The service is alright, I think the staff could work on their personality and give it a bit more flair. The interior is modern but not very French and won't blow your socks off or makes you feel like you want to try this place. But the food is really good. I had one of the best steak bavette in my life. The warm duck confit salad was sublime and foie-grass toast was an interesting take on this dish. Well done love it would go back just for the food

Lovely little place ! Food was excellent and great value with the set menu. Ambience was nice, a lovely vibe. Such a fan of the food here , cooked to perfection. Will defo be back. They seemed short staffed but isn’t everywhere these days. A real find in the heart of soho x Thank you :-) x

Lovely little place with a great atmosphere and relatively reasonable prices. The food is great and made with care.

How did I miss this restaurant? Today is Christmas Eve and I am on the two hours break for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. wandered on the street and got past this restaurant, decided to give it a try. I would say this is one of the best decisions I have ever made. Had Crab Thermidor veloute for starter and confit of duck for main. Highly recommend them both! Cooked really well and the flavour was rich, seasoning spot on! Big love for the potato aside the duck, crispy outside and soft inside, resulting in perfect texture. And I ate all my bread just to dip into the amazing sauce coming in the dishes. Would definitely come back again for more. This 20 pounds 2 course set tastes so much better than those that are highly priced.

Well done all the staff there , the place was absolutely full of Xmas diners not a spare seat , my son and I had booked and were in between two well behaved office parties . Service and food were spot on . We’ve been here lots of times and never had a single bad experience. All for a fraction of the price in most other places and served with a smile under pressure this time of year . Thank you , looking forward to visiting in 2025 .

Food tasty but far too expensive, especially the desserts Staff earm and friendly

Food great as ever but our lunch was rather spoiled by being told they wanted our table back after an hour and 20 minutes. When we questioned this, they begrudgingly moved us to a table at the side, but this should have been offered with much better grace from the start. There are many similar brasseries in Soho so, to stand out, you need to get things like this right.

My starter, gravlax was pretty average and the wines were not very inspiring. My main, turkey, was good, once I had asked them to reheat it. As a general experience this was so-so. I expected better, but the guys running the restaurant were very pleasant.

Delicious well presented food, fine wines, lovely atmosphere. I'm an n irregular regular, but I'll keep coming back.

I've been here before a few times Always reliable. Lovely food. Courses came way too quickly though as it dod last time I came. I like to pause between my starter and main but this didn't happen, even when I had asked the waiter for a break in between (I was told "its a busy kitchen"). Wine was good and would still recommend it but please consider slowing the pace of food delivery in the restaurant.

This was my third visit today. Each time I come, it never disappoints. The food is fantastic, the staff are brilliant and the atmosphere is great. Can’t recommend it highly enough

Excellent food as always, fresh and vibrant tastes. The restaurant was packed, being close to Christmas and was a lot noisier than usual. The staff were a bit pushy to get tables turned over. We had to ask for the Mains to be kept back for 15 mins, as we wanted to get the full 2 hours out of our stay.

It's good value straightforward food. French menu. We had the festive menu which gave several options for all three courses. Hard floors, little to absorb noise and that is the only reservation. It's just not easy to hold a conversation. That said both food and wine are very reasonably priced by central London standards and ai will go again.

I was with a party with very varied dietary requirements, one vegan, one dairy and gluten intolerent and another dairy intolerant . In spite of that they managed to accommodate us all and the food was extremely tasty and delivered speedily with a smile. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. I would suggest that a couple more vegan options are added to the extensive menu, if possible

Overall it's a nice place and pretty good food. My wife enjoyed her meal more than I did. I think the place is probably better during non, Christmas time. There were 2 Parties going on so it was very loud and we could not have a conversation without yelling. This took away a bit from the experience.

Very happy with choice of this restaurant for a Christmas treat with a friend for a pre-theatre meal. Good choice on food and drink menus, all courses very tasty and good quality, prompt and friendly staff, unfussy but cosy decor. Unpretentious good food and service at a reasonable price, in contrast to current culinary 'trends', which we greatly appreciated! We'll be back.

Overall, good. Great polite and attentive staff. Food was well up to what we would like in a brasserie. All food was tasty, well presented, prompt and perfect portion size for us. Two points for us: one of my guests was quite sensitive to noise, which was quite loud; main course plates, let’s have them warmer. Or even better let’s have them hot. We will return.

Restaurant was very noisy. Service was poor considering the price of the food - no offer of water, didn’t not clear wine glasses, did not clear bread plates, did not offer refill on drinks, did not ask if our food was okay, and refused to take the tip off the final bill. The gnocchi was tasty but came in 10 mins which made me question how freshly made it was

We had a fantastc meal here last night! The venison was meltinglyngood and the steak, the same. The french onion soup was tasty and warming to start. The service was really friendly.andnthe atmosphere was buzzing!

I would be concerned going to this restaurant if I had an allergy. One of our party ordered salmon. She was brought the cod, a completely different dish with different ingredients including shellfish, but the server placed it saying salmon. When she queried whether it was actually salmon, only then did the waiter admit that they had run out of salmon and said 'But you like cod?' The waiter eventually provided steak frites as a substitute, however there was never an apology for purposely misleading a diner. Everyone understands that restaurants run out of dishes, but trying to pass off one dish as another is extremely worrying behaviour that could have dangerous consequences.

Food lukewarm so had to send back the soup starter and two mains. Nobody said goodbye at the end - very impersonal service from Maitre Di who seemed quite grumpy. Not a pleasant experience as questioned about the food not being hot enough! Food tasty but overall would not eat there again.

We really enjoyed the food and if you get the 2 course menu, it’s a pretty good price for Soho. Staff were lovely - very busy.

Words can’t describe just how good this restaurant is I have been eating here for 15+ years and the quality continues to surpass itself in line with unbelievable value for money thanks to the current owner and his faultless team both in front of and behind the scenes - many, many thanks and congratulations well deserved.. My wife and I eat here regularly. Yesterday we also took two friends. They were as impressed as we always are by Prixe Fixe. Hugely helpful and efficient staff. Great choice on the fixed price menu. Beautifully cooked food. Good value wine list, which allows for glasses and carafes as well as bottles.

Misleading website information because there are no ‘special’ promotions if you book online via open table and no point selecting it’s a birthday celebration because it was ignored. However, lovely service and food was okay, ideal pre-theatre set menu dinner as long as it’s not the main event of your evening.

Have eaten here a few times. Lovely service, good choices and a good value fixe menu. Wines are somewhat overpriced relative to the quality but that’s often how the venue makes their profit. The main niggle with the restaurant is that many of the tables are very close together and it can be noisy at peak times. Would definitely eat here again…

There's a reason this place has been here a long time. I hadn't been here in 15 years. Still great quality and very affordable for central soho. Place absolutely packed so book in advance. Our party of 4 had great starters, had swordfish, beef borguenon and steak for main courses, 1 bottle of rose, with bread on table with jugs of tapwater. £42 each with service included. This is amazing value for the size of portions, atmosphere and service. They do a pre theatre menu for £21 for 2 courses. I'm not leaving it for another 15 years before returning!

The 2 course set menu is excellent - lots of choice and reasonably priced. Of course we then went for wine, dessert and coffee which racked the bill up somewhat but that too was delicious. Salads were a sizable portion whether ordered as starter or mains. The French onion soup was hearty and tasty and the chocolate mousse decadently rich.

Never been here before but it was a great choice for a pre theatre meal. Steaks were absolutely superb, perfectly cooked. Wine list fabulous. Service friendly.

Very good service, there was a girl from Barcelona who spoke Spanish and the food was exquisite.

The food is of the worst quality you can imagine. The staff is friendly, but after a starter and main course we were outside again within an hour. Definitely not recommended and fixt prices are only until half past six, we knew that, but that is also something to take into account.

The best two course pre-theatre meal I’ve ever eaten jn London. Generous sized portions, fresh and delicious food - great range to choose from - duck salad as a starter was delicious as was the perfectly cooked sword fish main

Usual high standard of food and service, good value for money

Third visit and never disappoints. Great food, brilliant service and doesn’t take the mickey on prices despite the area. Atmosphere cosy and the right side of busy in the evenings.

What a fantastic little place! 10/10 location on Dean Street so handy for the West End and pre theatre eating. Three of us had the starter and main option. Service was prompt, attentive but not intrusive. We had a load of catching up to do and drinks, starters and mains were served quickly and without fuss. The staff were 'on it'. Smiling and happy to help. Food was great. I had a calamari starter which was soft and tasty (how much calamari have you had which is like a bike inner tube?). Then I had a fish pie which was filling with big chunks of meaty fish. Chocolate mouse for desert, coffee. For three of us, starter and main, a few drinks, a couple of deserts, coffees...£133 including a 12.5% service charge. Will definitely be back. Loved it.

We had a wonderful time at Prix Fixe. The food was wonderful, very tasty - we had the Ox Cheek and Duck Confit and loved it. Starters were very nice too. Service impeccable. A little noisy, but we'll definitely be going back as the menu is very well thought out, with lots of interesting choices too !
