This cafe is fab. Me and my daughter visit here every week and we're never disappointed. As my daughter is coeliac she has the gluten free option of a toastie. The ingredients and the combinations that they make are delicious. You always feel full and the quality is really good. The atmosphere is very nice and is generally busy and friendly. Prices are very realistic if you have the meal deals.

The food here is absolutely amazing, I can't put into words how much I love it, the owner is lovely and the staff are polite, the food is a reasonable price (especially for the quality you recieve!). The shakes are excellent, will definitely be returning in the future.

Ordered a chicken burger for my daughter but didn't realise it wasn't a bread bun so she wouldn't eat it, mum to the rescue and swapped my cheese and ham panini with the burger and it was lovely. (It does say on the menu what it was but i didnt read that bit lol) Pancake was soo nice and filling. Meal deal for £10 will come again

Absolutely loved our visit to this little hidden gem. From the greeting at the door to us leaving was second to none. Food was excellent and lots of it, very tasty, was spoilt for choice the menu all looked inviting. Also highly recommended is any of the shakes, the best I’ve EVER had (banana & Nutella). Will definitely be going back to try the rest of the menu and the pancakes are on my list to try. If you have been it’s definitely worth a visit you won’t be disappointed 😁

Today, we were looking for somewhere to have a light lunch. We found Qoozies and decided to call in. The restaurant was very inviting, lovely rustic decor with a really warm welcome. Proprietor very polite abd food excellent quality. Priced very reasonably and the restaurant was spotlessly clean. Would definitely return.

We really enjoyed the ‘Chut Up’ burger with lovely smoothies. Staff are great and they had a cute dog there also! I would come back and better spending my money here rather than bigger chains that are nearby. Support local places!

I visited for the first time last week and had such a good experience that I couldn’t resist coming again this week. The staff are so friendly and the vibe is cosy and fun. I had two different toasties and both were delicious. The smoothies are a perfect size and you can tell everything is mega fresh. I’ll be recommending to everyone I know in the area!

Been here a few times now, the food has always been very good. A great selection on the menu.

Enjoyed our lunch here. There was an error with our order and this was resolved quickly. We even got to keep the item we hadn't ordered and they wouldn't take money for it as it was their error. Lovely tasty food and coffee 🙌

This place has always been a pleasant visit however since the new owner has taken over this establishment everything has just gotten better and better! The menu is fantastic and the service was some of the best I’ve received especially from the owner herself. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Called in today for a treat. Absolutely fantastic. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We had a hot breakfast and double pancakes. Will definitely recommend.

Fantastic food and Fantastic service, will 100% be back

Myself and daughter popped in for a shake and pancake. We have passed by so many time so today we went in. Sat down looked over the menu and placed our order, on oder we was told there was a wait on food orders. Our drinks arrived after around 5 mins. Amazing smoothie and milkshake for the girl. Our pancake came out and my daughter was a few bites in and came over unwell (this was not the fault of the food, its a known medical issue). The staff was amazing making sure she was okay and seeing if there was anything they could help with. They even made her a fresh pancake to take away and eat later. The staff team are amazing and so hard working, it's a busy little place and the food was fab. We will be back, without any medical issue next time so we can enjoy our experience a little more.

Super friendly cafe with delicious food. Recommend to anyone visiting Chesterfield - the twisted spire church is just round the corner. The pancake fritter burgers were really unusual and very tasty. The all day breakfast menu was a treat, topped off with Nutella and strawberry pancakes. Great service too. Also really accommodating for gluten free diets which was an added bonus.

Latte come spilled all out into the bag

One of the best salads I have had in a really long time, a true rainbow and really fresh flavourful ingredients. Generous portions too, and great value with the meal deal. Such a lovely atmosphere and the new manager is lovely and was happy to work around my husband’s dietary requirements. So yum!!

delicious breakfast menu and lovely staff!

So it was a while back when me and my partner went to this place, possibly around August or September 2023. I ordered a coffee which was nice. He ordered a milkshake. He received the milkshake which was bitty and hardly mixed, a bit like oil and water. He mixed it up best he could, however it still didn't mix properly. He tasted the milkshake and he said it didn't taste right. He didn't want to make a fuss but this milkshake was expensive. This lovely elderly lady that worked there asked if we were ok, in which my partner replied that there was some kind of error with his order. She was very polite and took it to the chef, I presume, who was working behind the counter. He got really moody and walked over to the table with the drink, getting very upset that someone didn't like his drink. It made me very angry that this idiot of a chef was being mardy and ranting at my partner to the point where I was about to make a huge fuss, until the poor old lady stepped in again and shooed him away. She apologised for HIS behaviour, took away the drink, and let me partner pick a new drink as a refund. The smallest issue could have been resolved so easily, the reason I put a bad review is because staff are unwilling to help or apologise with mistakes, or some poor old lass has to do everything for another worker. Take responsibility please. And don't be rude. My partner was very polite and well-mannered throughout the entire situation. Doubt we will go back. We don't go into town to receive negativity

We came for the 1st time for a birthday breakfast, we had a lovely breakfast. The staff were amazing, the food was delicious and brought out fast. The new owner Elisa was lovely, we had a warm welcome and some delicious brownies for us both from the team. It made the occasion really special I can't recommend them enough, what a great place. I had a very expensive bacon sandwich here. Having looked at the menu I was about to walk out as I only wanted a sandwich not a full breakfast, but the waitress said they could do a bacon sandwich. Did I want sausage? No Did I want an egg? No Did I want salad? No Did I want crisps? No Unfortunately not having these items didn't remove them from the bill, and a bacon sandwich on white bread for £8 is a bit much. You live and learn. I've learned not to eat here again.

qoozies is such a good lunch spot with a great selection of different sandwiches which can be made with different kinds of bread which is very accommodating. the staff are friendly, helpful and patient. i’ve been loving to use qoozies as a place to grab a delicious sandwich, would definitely recommend :)

We visited qoozies for the first time this weekend, amazing staff, they were really busy but went out of their way to make sure we had a brilliant experience, the food and drinks we ordered were spot on too. Will definitely be returning next time we're in Chesterfield

Our very first time here has we had heard many good things about this place! We walked in at 1340, waited to be seated, a young lady came upto us and asked how many were in our party which we informed they were 4, she then said please find any table and if its need cleaning please give us a shout and that there was a 20 - 25 mintue wait for food even though there must have been only 4 tables in at that time. So with this we found a table and looked over the menu, we all decided what we wanted and sat there patiently for someone to take our order, 10 minutes past and then a further 15 minutes past and still no one had been to our table. With this I got up and found a member of staff and asked them how do we order food to where I received a rude "at the till" I asked where is that? To where I got another rude reply "at the counter" I then explained to the lady it was our first time and was unsure of what we had to do, so with this I went back to our party and informed them of what I had just been told and how rude I was spoken too, we all then decided to leave. All I am trying to say is please don't assume folk know what to do when it comes to ordering, some communication at the start would have been good.

Dog friendly they are beyond 🥰 Omg I was absolutely delighted 😄 had a pup date with my pooch they was so welcoming he got vip treatment ice cream put in a dog bowl because he doesn't like the tub and the staff noticed and offered to. They were so friendly and smiley definitely be going back again soon couldn't rate this place moor and the food was delicious 😋

Not impressed. I went with my partner and daughter this morning and the food was awful. The baked eggs were raw inside and extremely watery. Food was completely unseasoned and bland. The focaccia sandwich was extremely dry and bland. The focaccia itself was super dry and cut into huge pieces, couldn’t even bite the sandwich so it all just felled apart!! No effort was made to melt the mozzarella a bit do the mozzarella and tomatoes were just a sloppy mess. The whole sandwich just needed some salt and pepper. Both food items were just awful and a waste of money. We were left extremely disappointed. I do, however, have to admit that their sweet items are nice. The orange juice with carrot was nice and hot chocolate was lovely. The rest of the food was completely inedible

Went to Qoozies for a mid day sweet treat and was not disappointed! The breakfast deal they have at the moment is incredible for the price. I had a pistachio croissant and an oat milk mocha for under £5! The portion size was great and the food/drink was tasty. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly. Overall, a fab experience and recommend to any coffee and sweet treat lover out there! 😊

Actually quite possibly the worst food I’ve ever had. There is definitely no trained chef in the building

My husband and I visited from Wales over the August Bank Holiday Weekend specifically for the Qoozies pancakes; and we had a wonderful experience! We booked the day before for the Pancake Challenge; and the team were all so kind and friendly throughout. On top of that the pancakes were Amazing! Sadly after 30 minutes we surrendered to the pancake feast - but would love to come back again in the future for another attempt! Highly recommend Qoozies. 100% worth the trip!!! Thank you to everyone in on that day; we had a blast!!!

The lady that served me (I think the day manager) was so helpful as I had never visited before. Extremely kind and caring to my daughters need too. The salads were gorgeous and the fresh juices I would definitely recommend! 10/10

This was our first time eating at Qoozies and we both loved it. All of the staff were lovely! They were super helpful when we asked questions on how to order, and the service was really good. It’s very clean and funky inside with fairy lights and greenery/flowers. We both had a single pancake with our chosen toppings and the servings are quite big. You really do get your moneys worth and it’s delicious! They do more than pancakes here, so there is something for everyone. 10/10 would definitely recommend to all my friends and family. We will definitely come here again! :)

Friendly place with wonderful staff. They were busy which is always a good sign but food came very quickly. The Qoozie burger is an absolute treat. The milkshakes and fresh fruit juices are great too. We'll be back.

The pancakes were delicious and the staff were really welcoming and attentive. Every where has off days but Qoozies went above and beyond to rectify theres. Thank you once again for the gesture we will definitely be back soon. :) —————————— Visited sunday with my family for Father's Day. Booked a table for 10am and we were all really looking forward to it as we have been before and have always enjoyed it. Arrived at 10, it had just opened so it wasn't very busy. We placed our order at the counter for the full English breakfast, pistachio pancake tacos and 2 variations of the build your own pancakes... for drinks we ordered 2 Americanos, a caramel latte and iced pistachio latte. The total came to just under £60 which we paid and went back to our table to wait. We waited an hour at the table and no drinks or food arrived. Only one other table (of the 5 or 6 tables seated) received any food whilst we were sitting there (one tables food arrived staggered one by one over the course of half an hour). After an hour passed a member of staff came to us and asked if we had ordered on the app or at the counter yet. We told him yes we ordered at the counter an hour ago and he reassured us that we wouldn't be waiting much longer. He then went around the other tables asking the same. 10 minutes later the drinks arrived... well some of them! We were missing an Americano which we went to the counter to tell them. They apologised and said they would bring it soon. Meanwhile mv sister tried her caramel latte and realised there was no caramel in it which we had paid extra for, so we had to go back to the counter to ask for another. My pistachio iced latte was missing any crushed pistachios that were supposed to be included but at this point I didn't want to go back up to the counter again to explain as it was getting ridiculous. We sat for a further 10 minutes. The missing drinks never arrived and still no sign of any food! We had been there for almost an hour and 30 mins at this point. Staff were just standing around doing nothing and no other tables received food or drinks. All tables were looking at each other perplexed. We decided to leave and requested a refund as with it being Father's Day we had other plans and didn't want to waste anymore of our day. We never usually complain and were all quite embarrassed whilst waiting for our refund which took a further 15 minutes whilst the member of staff had to phone his manager because they didn't know how to issue a refund. They ended up having to give us cash even though we paid by card which took even longer as they had to go and get this from a safe he told us. Overall whilst they were apologetic after we had requested our refund the whole experience was a disaster. It just seemed like no one knew what they were doing or cared. I dont mind waiting for food when it is busy but it wasn't and to not even receive any drinks after an hour of sitting there is a joke. Ruined my dad's father's day brunch after i had recommended it to him. Thanks...

We had a good afternoon at Qoozies today, with respect after a couple of negative experiences we didn't want to give up on a restaurant that we've always enjoyed eating at. All the staff are polite, friendly and helpful. I had a large salad which was superb and my friend had the toasted 'something fishier' sandwich which he said was excellent also. There is an extensive menu and with respect something for everyone's dietary tastes, fresh ground coffee too.

Lovely warm welcome, attentive team who catered for our little one by providing some crayons and colouring books. The food was well presented and delicious, lovely flavours!

We had a really disappointing Father's day brunch here. There was an hours wait on food even though it was half empty in there, people were actually asking for their money back after waiting for so long. When the food came it was missing items, we were told you don't get avocado on the big breakfast even though it says so on the menu and also was advertised that way on instagram, they also had no sourdough left which is one of their main food items and half the fruit and veg options to make their juices were also not available, so we had to keep changing our order. The pancake also wasn't cooked enough and was missing items again. There were four members of staff but there seemed to only be two of them actually doing anything and no one seemed to be in charge. It was also advertised that all dads dining on Father's day would receive free chocolate and this also didn't happen. Hot and cold drinks also took 40 minutes to come out and the tea was lukewarm. We've been before so we were expecting good things, especially from the new menu items but we just left underwhelmed and disappointed, it really wasn't worth the wait or the price. I doubt we will go again.

It’s been a while since I’ve been for lunch at qoozies and I have to say I was very disappointed by my visit today. Just under £9 for a salad, no where near as good as it used to be. I was eating in and it came in a cardboard bowl, the smallest slice of chicken, no more than an ounce of feta. The rest was just lettuce onion and cucumber. Very poor indeed. Won’t be visiting again. This used to be a favourite. 😔

Went on Friday and the coffee was terrible. Milk was boiled and coffee tasted gone off. It was £3.90 as well. For that price I expect much better. I’ve had better instant coffees. The pancakes were good. Nice flavour and well cooked. Could have done with a side of maple syrup buf I’m sure if I’d have asked they would have provided.

Literally like walking into daycare with an easy bake oven and toddlers manning the kitchen. Beware, gloves and hairnets are optional when these children prepare and handle your food. They even attack people online who criticize their shady health practices.

Feels as if Qoozies has really gone downhill, used to absolutely love it a few years ago, but it appears the quality of food has really dipped but prices have risen astronomically. Completely understand in the current economic climate businesses need to charge more to get by, but the food and drink we received was all really poor. I ordered the salad and a Morning Franco (which always used to be a favourite), and my friend ordered a mushroom and poached egg bagel and a hot chocolate. The salads used to be my favourite and were always really fresh, but the issue I had with this one is that the ingredients by themselves were incredibly bland and didn’t taste fresh. I got it with caesar dressing, but the dressing was just a really light drizzle over the top and not mixed into the salad at all. Each item in the salad was just layered on top of another on a small plate, leaving no room to even mix the ingredients together myself. This meant the top ingredients were okay with the dressing, but everything at the bottom (mostly cheap mixed leaves and tinned sweetcorn) had zero flavour. No salt, pepper, or other seasonings on the salad. For £11, this was really disappointing. I got it with halloumi as I’m vegetarian, and it was okay but unseasoned and overcooked. I’ve had salads from supermarket salad bars which were fresher and more flavourful for less than a third of the price. The Morning Franco was also nowhere near as good as it used to be; one of the staff came to our table after we ordered to let us know they were out of oats (one of the ingredients), and could either make it without the oats or I could pick something else. Any other similar options on the menu contained peanut butter which I’m not a fan of, so I opted for the drink without the oats. The flavour was okay, but really icey and barely any coffee flavour. It also didn’t come with any of the garnishes or fresh banana it used to come with, and was £7 which is just incredibly expensive for what it was. My friend’s poached egg and mushroom bagel both looked and tasted really unappetising. The bagel was clearly dry, with no butter or spread of any kind, and the mushrooms were squeaky and greasy. The egg was completely solid; for a poached egg, you’d expect the yolk to be at least a little bit runny, but it was completely cooked through and the white was rubbery. The hot chocolate was also really thin and watery; for the price you’d definitely expect something of higher quality with properly steamed and textured milk. It wasn’t very busy when we visited, but there was a weird frantic energy in the cafe. Felt like a lot of the staff were maybe not quite sure what they were doing. It was a very young team, and everyone we spoke to was perfectly pleasant, but there wasn’t a sense of order or atmosphere at all. As the team was so young - and neither of us are the type to complain anywhere as we have both worked in hospitality and know how draining it can be - we didn’t complain in store or mention anything. If a member of the team had checked in to ask if everything was okay, as happens at most other cafes, we’d maybe have said something, but didn’t want to go out of our way to complain when the team were clearly doing what they could. Qoozies used to be great a few years ago, and it feels as if maybe staff need to be better trained on the quality of food and drink going out, especially since Qoozies appear to heavily focus on the ‘quality’ of their food in their online posts. It’s a real shame as it’s great to see a small business in Chesterfield that’s been able to stay open for so long and through Covid, but the standards of food and drink are clearly not what they used to be. We wouldn’t come again after our experience today, which is a real shame. I rarely write negative reviews, but there wasn’t even one ‘saving grace’ or dish we enjoyed here, and I think the company need to keep an eye on maintaining quality if they want to justify their high prices.

Ew, just gross! Latte looks and tastes nothing like a latte! The toast, well, the staff members preparing it had her hair down for a start, then she proceeded to wipe her nose with her hand 🤢 and then served my toast WITHOUT washing her hands. Both girls behind the counter doing food had their hair down. It seems this place needs to update their food hygiene!! The lady who served us drinks and the toast and was very quick to refund us was lovely!!

Worst £30 I’ve ever spent. Waited 45 minutes for a salad that I had to takeaway with me eventually as I had to go back to work. To top off, the salad quality wasn’t worth the money spent.

I really do not like being negative as I try and see the positive in everything. I also understand the impact that negative feedback has. However, I visited today, and despite the town being busy, I was surprised how quiet it was in Qoozies, especially at lunchtime, I should have taken this as an Omen! The staff were what I would describe as numb, not rude, but no pleasantries, welcome, or smiles. Felt like I was inconveniencing them. I sat at one table, realised it hadn't been cleaned, moved to another, this wobbled, third table, yep, good to go 👍🏻 The place has literally no atmosphere! So, onto the food. Absolutely awful. The chicken was tough and dry, and the bit of salad was wilted, and for god knows what reason, gritty! There was no dressing or seasoning, so it wasn't that. Let's get onto the Cronut. Well, that was mouldy inside 🤢 I handed this back, showed them the mould, was asked if I wanted anything else 🙄 I said no and when the young lady handed me my refund for the Cronut, she said 'they normally throw them out after 3 days' and apologised. The coffee was nice 🤷🏼‍♀️ The chap who looked in charge didn't come to speak with me or acknowledge me as I left. Please bear in mind this was all done very quietly, with no drama, I don't do scenes 🙈 Qoozies looks the part and certainly isn't cheap, I came away wishing that I hadn't bothered. I won't return and definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. *EDIT* Thank you for your reply Quoozies. As I mentioned, I was offered a replacement, which I declined, I also declined the drink. Understandably, I was rather 'put off' Good luck with your new menu.

Very surprised at quality of the food. Always went there and loved the food. Not sure if the have changed their chef. Had a Oli burger and salad. Salad leafs were slimy so obviously no longer edible. The patty was uncooked fully as wet, greasy and fell apart. What's worse is had to pay £9.50 for this privilege. So sad as always thought going there was a treat. Now will never go again.

Great place but very over priced 3 drinks were £16.50 they were nice but I think if it was cheaper it would be busier. Nice for a special treat, but not even weekly.

Really sad to be writing this as we are regular visitors to Qoozies but the quality & service have really gone down in the last few months. Today our food was cold, the service was incredibly slow and we ended up having to ask for a refund on our drinks because we didn't receive them. We also weren't the only ones - one man waited 50mins for his drink and another lady waited over 30mins just for a drink (she didn't order food!) Really sad to be saying we won't be going back again 😢

Family catch up on a Sunday morning, decided to meet a Qoozies as we had seen the Sunday brunch advertised. Lovely friendly welcome. Ordering was easy, it was explained the baked eggs would take longer to cook, so pre warned for the wait. All our breakfasts were delicious and filling. Service was great, friendly & efficient. All in all we had a relaxing Sunday morning with great food and a nice atmosphere.

Went for breakfast on Sunday morning, good selection, had the baked eggs & flat white coffe which were delicious. Staff lovely & attentive, great atmosphere.

Lovely atmosphere. Inside is Chilled and cosy. Outside chairs to sit in the sun! The food is amazing. Something for all. My kids always have the pancakes with different toppings. I like the healthy option of either the amazing fulfilling warm salad or the burgers with sweet potato hash brown!! The food is nice and unique! The stuff are always smiling and helpful. Definitely a must go to place in Chesterfield.

Had a really good brunch here…the new menu is great. I’m also quite a fussy eater so made a lot of amendments to my dish and they were so accommodating and got it spot on. Will definitely come again soon for food. :)

To start with, it was an amazing place to dine at. i really do recommend going here of you would like a nice, chilled environment and amazing service. I'd like to thank one staff member in particular, Alfie i think, he was charismatic, polite, and a really friendly person to have a conversation with. Thanks Quoozies and Alfie, 5 stars.

sooooooooo good here!!! I love taking my dog it’s so nice they’re dog friendly (even with a specific menu) the fresh baked treats are my fave & hot chocolates Recommend to everyone - such a cute place too & lovely staff!!

Visited with my twin girls aged 11. I had a full breakfast which was amazing (loads of bacon), and my girls had Nutella pancakes, one with strawberries and one with bananas, both really enjoyed it. I had an orange juice, one of my girls had a smoothie and one had a milkshake. Very nice food and very friendly and helpful staff. Will be back soon. Highly recommended!!
