Real Taste in Camden

The lamb doner meat is low quality and not even roasted properly, honestly quite disgusting overall. It was full of pieces of bone. Cooked unevenly and some pieces thicker than other. Could not finish my meal. And the £4 portion of chips were darker than the lamb doner.

Ordered from here and got given so much food! So nice and loved the chillis!!!

Large portion for a small dish and a great value. We dined in and tried the pot of sauce with Doner kebab and it was delicious. We tried apple tango soda there for the first time and it was also delicious! I would eat there again!

Super lovely staff! Only got cheese chips but they were perfectly salted and had a really good amount of cheese - they also gave me 3 different sauces in individual pots so it didn’t make the chips soggy. Fair prices for central london, would recommend for a late night vibe!

These kinds of shops are prevalent across Europe and the food I'm my experience is largely the same. These places only stand out for two reasons. 1, They are exceptionally good. 2, There Exceptionally bad. This place was, unfortunately, the latter. There is an oversupply of places like this. Would personally advise to go to another one. The food they cook is incredibly simple. For the most part, just avoid this place.

We went here for a late night snack. The employees were extraordinarily kind and helpful and even ran after us to give us the extra sauce we forgot. Food was great as well.

Avoid!!! Decided to treat my daughter to a lamb doner yesterday from this establishment and I utterly regret this. Upon arrival at home. The kebab meat was cold to the touch and tasted/smelt old, rotten. The bread was also cold and mouldy. Unfortunately my daughter had already eaten a little of the food before we realised we’d been given food that had gone off!! I only hope she isn’t sick after consuming this food. Avoid at all cost!!! Or eat at your detriment!!!!

Was starving and needed a late night meal - the staff were so hospitable and friendly. Top service, and the chicken shish was so tender, juicy, and delicious. Very satisfied that I came here and will come again.

Taste wasn’t good, not extraordinary or something special. Their Lamb Donner tasted better than Chicken Donner. I didn’t liked the food. Chicken was slightly smelly. My teeth had to wrestle with Pita bread. Unfortunately 9.90 got wasted.

I have tried everything on the menu, this is by far the best kebab, I’ve ever had no matter what when I get the food is always fresh cooked properly even the salad is fresh. I have introduced a lot of people to eat here because I stand by what I mean it really is tasty and I wouldn’t eat anyone else. I’ve been ordering from this place for years now

Asked to use the facility was told it was closed. Meat is dry, looks old in the chiller. I asked for no lettuce extra onions, got neither. AVOID NOT CLEAN

Might be one of the best kebabs I’ve had ever. Even my sober mates were praising it. Perfect kebab to salad ratio as well to top it all off. Turkish cuisine but they’ve got morrocan man and afghani man here doing proper bits. 10/10 highly recommended.

I order from here stone cold sober on a regular basis. Extremely underrated

Ordered a chicken kebab and recieved a tub of chicken, a tub of salad and a cold unpacked pitta bread. I rang the shop and the owner lied to me and said that it explains it on just eat, which is just not true. Liars and cheats. Stay away!

nothing special its one of those run of the mill kebab shops where all the meat just tastes the same only difference is different levels of chew between the chicken or lamb, koftas are more like a burger taste wise..not for me again

Been visiting this place ever since they opened many years ago. The workers are friendly and the food is good. They often take gluten intolerance lightly which can be annoying. Also, I personally do not like the quality of their Lamb Shish and Lamb Kofta - it tastes and smells like poor quality lamb. Other than that, the service is good and the chicken is always delicious. The meals are also very reasonably priced.

Best Kebab I've had... Can't beat that chilli sauce!!

Ok, This place is very good to visit during the day time but sadly I had a few poor experiences when I visited during the late evenings. If you visit in the evening, they somehow assume you are a drunk and will treat you like one. So make a daytime visit. Otherwise a reasonable place to eat.

Pasamos muertos de hambre y pedimos 2 rollos de Kebab. Realmente gigantes, abundantes, ricos, el lugar es muy limpio al igual que sus baños, y la atención es de primera. Muy recomendable para visitarlo.

I wanted a simply lamb sish and it was terrible, meat was cold and just no flavor. I couldn't finish it at all, I won't be going here again. I probably was just unlucky but it wasn't a nice wrap.

Order from here regularly love the food that's why we keep going back even though they always get orders wrong. In recent month there have been 2 menu changes both with price rises. I have been using this restaurant for 8 years will not be using them anymore when they are Charging £5.00 for a vegetarian falafel kebab that always comes wrong unless I go and collect it. Very disappointed real taste. These menu increases are going to drive your customers away.

We popped in here at 3:30am jet-lagged and starving and figured it would be run of the mill late night drunk food but we were pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the falafel and kebab we got. It was *legitimately* delicious. Bonus point for the friendly staff who tolerated the drunken horde with grace.

I have eaten at this kebab place a few times without any problems, food always good and good service but yesterday it seems they have decided to downsize the portions and upsize the charge. Usually loads of meat/salad but this time the meat serving was very very small, the sauce almost invisible and when I asked for an extra pitta bread I was asked for £1 extra... Wow... Could buy a whole packet from the supermarket and still have change from £1! The owner let me off before I was about to walk out leaving everything behind... What's going on in Camden!!!! Seems they think the locals should be ripped off the same as the tourists!!! Not good all round...

Rude customer service. They can't speak or understand basic English so they bring the order wrong. Imagine you have allergies. Careless and very shameful. Learn English and how to treat your customers.

I eat there weekly - has a homemade taste and a lot of options for a meal. Unassuming on the outside but very tasty - and you can also make it healthy if you want to.

Passing by camden thought go in get take away but turned out to be shocking experiance.Portion size are not large is medium order 2 large kebabs 1 fork 1 tissue burnt pitta breads rock hard. A customer was complaining about chicken not being good when i was in resturant my 1st n last time here. Rude staff told me to go some place else did not do nothing in return. Donar kebab taste nasty cold dry meat. They need to change thier name real taste to real disappointment...POOR.. AVOID!!

Been going here for years, never had a bad doner kebab. Ever. Good value for money too. Take away only as the restaurant part is not up to scratch.
