Fantastic, fantastic, and what I liked is the menu that has a green leaf on it 🍃 I mean, it's vegan and it's nice that the food is vegetarian, so as to avoid doubt about what is halal and haram (plants and seafood are always halal) I liked the staff's treatment and the price was good

The pizza is okay by London’s low pizza standards. They have a full size pizza oven just next to the dining area. The food that comes out of the downstairs kitchen is terrible. The worst calamari we have ever had and they add a bunch of fried dough balls to the calamari dish, which is just a way to make a small portion of the dry and tasteless calamari appear like larger portion. The pasta was a pool of tasteless watery tomato sauce with under cooked pasta. No seasoning, no herbs, no taste. The staff are all a bit hectic and they challenged us when we said the calamari was terrible. We live just 10 minutes away on foot, but will never go back. Terrible experience and terrible food.

The meal is good and served quite quickly. In Italy there are more gluten-free options. Damage. But the service was good.

Ordered the gluten free ragu and was very disappointed. I am a tiny person, but the portion size was likely 40 grams. The small scoop of pasta on my plate also cost £18. The meet in the ragu had hard bits… and I really didn’t enjoy it at all.

Our food took over an hour to arrive. We had to chase it three times. Finally via a very hostile manager. We had both ordered pasta dishes. They were both absolutely disgusting. The pasta was congealed into a lukewarm lump with watery stuff floating around it. We both only managed one mouthful, then left late and hungry. When it finally arrived

We noticed that during the Christmas holidays in London you have to book well in advance if you want to eat in a good restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, luckily there was room for ten people. That is usually not the case, but the employee indicated that we had one hour to eat. We didn't find that a problem. We all ate delicious pizza and pasta. The service was fantastic, and the restaurant is definitely recommended if you like Italian food. The one-hour time limit was clearly intended as a subtle hint not to sit for too long, but with six children we finished quickly.

Business is super good. If you want to eat quickly, order pasta. Otherwise, you may have to wait until eternity for pizza.

First time at this restaurant and would definitely come back if in London again. Fabulous, tasty food, and great service overall. The food was very quick to come out (which was helpful as we were heading to a theatre show afterwards), but you could clearly tell it had been freshly made. Our server Anisa was lovely, and she seemed genuinely interested that everything was to our satisfaction (which it was!). If it’s your first time, it’s worth signing up for the rewards card as you get 10% off your first visit. We had a 3 course meal for 2 with drinks and sides for under £100, which we felt was very reasonable for the quality of food! We even arrived a little early and asked if it was possible to be seated, and it wasn’t a problem. Will definitely be back!

The food is good, the problem is the Neapolitan waiter who was extremely rude and aggressive towards me. I had initially booked online for 10pm on New Year's Eve, only to receive a message saying my booking would be moved to 8am on the same day. Great, no problem. When I arrived the Neapolitan waiter made me quite uncomfortable by shouting like a madman saying that I was "dead" in front of everyone because he had touched my hands which were cold. It's okay to joke, but there is a limit to everything. It's not that you have to repeat the same thing ten times, embarrassing your client, not everyone appreciates this type of exaggerated utterances. I come to the restaurant to eat pizza; if I wanted to see a clown show, I would have bought a ticket to the circus. After I sat down, the aforementioned waiter came to me in a very aggressive and rude manner, telling me that I should have informed him that my reservation was at 10am, instead of 8am. I showed him the messages I received, trying to make him understand that it was the restaurant itself that had changed my reservation. He told the first lie, stating that "the restaurant closes at 9" (when in reality it closes at 10) and therefore it was not possible that I had booked at 10 (an option that had been proposed to me by the site itself). Then he "accused" me of having indicated on the reservation list, upon entry, a name that was not mine (not true). All while screaming in front of people who looked at him in shock. Moral of the story, in the end he found the reservation on the list and it was precisely at 8. Another guy, I guess the manager, came to me, apologizing, saying that the waiter "is like that" and has a "too Neapolitan" way of acting. I am Neapolitan too and when I see these rude, inappropriate and out of context behaviors, especially abroad, I am ashamed of being Neapolitan. He then explained to me that in the last few days they had had problems with the booking system which had stopped working, but this is not my problem. Truly a terrible experience, I advise the management to have a chat with the Neapolitan waiter and teach him some customer service rules, because he totally ignores them (also because we are not in Naples, but in London).

We walked by this adorable spot and had to stop in! The pizza was absolutely delicious and things were still decorated for the holidays making it cozy and festive. Shreyansh took care of us, and everything was great! 👍🏼

We decided to dine in this restaurant to find our Italian flavors and we were very satisfied with the warm and friendly service, the absolutely excellent food (margherita pizza cooked in a wood oven) and the Neapolitan family atmosphere that you can breathe. An all-Italian cuddle. Absolutely recommended.

This place is hands down the best pizza!! We are from the States and happened upon it. We didn't have a booking but the owner let us in for an hour. It was amazing! So 2 days layer we went back with a booking. Had the same thing and will truly miss this pizza when we return home! 20/10. Bravo Sir!!

came as a big group of 18, we had to sit separately which was fine but the service was beyond shocking. It’s like the restaurant didn’t know how to cope with a large number or have the patients to accommodate children. My friend got told to sit down whilst taking her coat off, the waiters were clearly talking about us in a different language. We were told the food will come out as and when it’s ready which was fine but our pizza had arrived and the kids had eaten it and chips still hadn’t arrived. We asked to cancel them and was told they’ll restaurant has 2 floors and is very busy and they have to accommodate everyone so chips were on the way - we couldn’t cancel. Waiter even asked if I wanted to come with him to see how busy it was upstairs. Absolutely awful customer service and with a bill of over £600 i’m so disappointed. The pizza tasted nice but I wouldn’t go back ever or recommend for a large group.

Manager was extremely rude when I tried to tell him ladies toilets needed addressing. Yes he was sorting a problem on the till, but I wasn't aware of that. 3 times I said "excuse me" because I didn't think he'd heard me. He then, without even looking at me, put his hand up, palm facing to "silence" me. Presume he was aware of my reaction as it was then that he acknowledged me to say he was dealing with something on the till and would be with me in a moment. Which is what he should have done on my first "excuse me"! The capricciosa pizza was OK, but lacked the "Italian oomph". My daughter had ravioli which she enjoyed. The service, I couldn't fault at all. Obviously the toilets are not checked regularly.

Amazing Restaurant in Covent Garden’s!!! The manager told us we had 1.5 h with the table but because we had 2 guests who made us wait we needed longer and they were very accommodating for this situation! I had the paccheri ragu e polpette and i fell in love with how homely it made me feel! Thank you for the amazing food and amazing hospitality!

Unacceptable Health Hazard - Glass in Food! This was the most dangerous dining experience I’ve ever had. We found glass in our pizza at Rossopomodoro Covent Garden. Yes, glass! One of the group eating a pizza actually bit down on the glass, and it broke inside their mouth, it was horrifying. This is not just dangerous—it’s a massive health threat. Thankfully, no severe injuries, but there could have been. When we brought it to the manager’s attention, the solution offered was acceptable on the surface, but it didn’t address the seriousness of the issue. How can anyone trust food here knowing glass could be in it? This isn’t just bad service—it’s reckless. Avoid this place at all costs. Your safety and health are worth far more than this.

Amazing pizza, great service from Armando e Vittorio. The best you can have in London.

We found this place walking through the Seven Dial on our first day in London. We finally got to try and it and (chef’s kiss) it was incredible! We were greeted warmly by Armando at the door. Shreyansh was a fantastic waiter. He brought us the pizzas fast and piping hot. Would definitely recommend the margarita and diavola! We started with two pizzas and they were so good that we got a 3rd. The limoncello was a special drink to end the dinner!

Good pizza, that’s it. Music is so loud you couldn't even talk at the table. The worst thing about the dinner however was the service and behavior of the manager (?) I witnessed the scene in which he shouted “stop talking, you have to order” to a couple. I have read other reviews that talk about the rudeness of this person and I can only confirm it. Awful experience.

We have had a terrible experience, despite indicating "not gluten friendly" on the door, they have literally kicked us out of the restaurant because my daughters and I have celiac disease. I have never been treated worse in a restaurant in my life.

I recently visited Rossopomodoro, a beautiful Italian bistro located in the heart of the town. My family and I stopped by for dinner on a Friday evening, and it was a truly delightful experience. Our server, Rudi, was fantastic from the moment we sat down. Rudi brought the place to life with his enthusiasm and energy, he checked in at just the right intervals, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive.

I recently visited Rossopomodoro in Covent Garden and decided to try their pizza with artichokes. While the restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, my experience was slightly mixed, though mostly enjoyable. The pizza itself was well-made and lived up to expectations in terms of texture and authenticity. The dough was perfectly soft yet slightly crisp on the edges, and the artichokes were flavorful and fresh, adding a lovely earthy depth to the dish. However, there was a slight hiccup with the condiments. We had specifically expected truffle mayo as an accompaniment, but instead, they served garlic mayo. This small substitution felt a bit deceptive, as though they were trying to pass it off unnoticed. While it wasn't a huge deal, it was a touch disappointing. To their credit, our waiter was fantastic. He quickly acknowledged the mistake and offered a sincere apology, which softened the situation. His attentive and friendly service throughout the meal really elevated the experience and left a positive impression. Another highlight was the wine selection. The wine paired beautifully with the meal, balancing the flavors of the pizza perfectly. Additionally, our seating was ideal—cozy yet spacious, with a lovely view of the vibrant Covent Garden buzz outside. Overall, despite the small setback with the mayo, Rossopomodoro delivered a satisfying dining experience. The high-quality pizza, excellent wine, and stellar service outweighed the minor disappointment. I would certainly consider returning, though I might double-check any specialty extras next time!

Great restaurant. Rudi and the other staff were welcoming and enthusiastic, important traits in such a busy restaurant. I did not get the name of the young woman who sorted our booking but she was amazing as well. Given how busy they were they probably don’t need the advertising but they are great. Oh and the food was excellent. Authentic Napoli style pizzas
