Trattoria Verdi Restaurant in Camden

The waitress girls where so kind and lovely. They made me feel so welcome.

Today was the second time I visited this restaurant. The first time, staff was lovely, atmosphere and food was great. 👍🏼 Today, I assume the boss came- a pushy, small man was shouting at the poor staff in front of everyone which changed the whole mood for worse. This was such a shame as before I it was a very homely and relaxing vibe. The live piano is a good addition.

The first meal I tried after arriving in London. Overall, it is a very good restaurant. The Margherita pizza is delicious and Sidney’s service is very warm and very nice 👌

Food was very nice although starters expensive with bruschetta at nearly £11. Equally £4.95 for a small bottle of Diet Coke is also pricey in my opinion. The main reason for my low rating was being harassed at the end of meal to leave a review. It was way over the top and the waitress would not stop asking even holding onto my receipt until I brought up Google review. A real pity as it seems a nice restaurant but I don’t expect that pressure to leave a review

Very nice discovery during our stay in London. We spent New Year's Eve there. The dishes were very good. Balloon release at midnight and digestive offered by the management. A very good time.

I called in to order a vegetarian pizza to take away and decided to have a small glass of red wine while I waited. Staff were welcoming. Lovely piano playing and the stone baked pizza was delicious with a soft crust. Absolutely would go back. Will eat in next time.

The restaurant doesn't make you dream either from the outside or the inside but the dishes make you dream, we had Fettucine All'Alfredo pasta and a marguerite pizza and it was simply delicious and the portions are generous, the beer is also good and the prices for London are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you very much for this dinner!

My experience in this restaurant was incredible, my head was in the clouds I ordered tortelini Alberto It was..... exquisite this dish made me dream wow I will come back the next time I go to Italy The emotions came back to me 😭

My girlfriend and I had a great time eating here. Food was amazing and reminded us of our tours over in Florence. Live music was great as well. Entire meal was good, until we got to the end. When it came to pay, the server forced us to write a good review for the restaurant, saying “people say they’ll do it but never do, I want to see you do it” weird….. We had plans to go to the Mayor of Londons NYE event and wanted to stop in for a quick dinner, but was held up and almost missed our time into the event. We were unable to leave until we wrote the review, and the server even touched my phone to make sure what I wrote was good…. Overall good dinner, but weird interaction. Glad we didn’t miss the fireworks though!

I ordered Caesar salad, Polonese, and Tiramisu for dessert. Both were huge and I was full just from the salad lol. It's close to the British Museum and I highly recommend it! The clerk was also friendly and kind ^_^

Normally we never look for Italian food when we are on holiday abroad, but hunger and the amount of people around brought us to this restaurant. The cuisine is not comparable to that of an Italian restaurant in Italy, but we ate as if we were at home and cooked something for ourselves. And that's not a criticism, but a compliment. The tomato bruschetta was really delicious and so was the tiramisu. The pasta had a good degree of cooking, almost al dente. Silvia looked after us as best she could. The coffee was also good, even though we were in London. Overall, we would happily stay here again.

The food tasted great and was quite filling. Highly recommend the spaghetti bolognese and the steak. Staff was very friendly and the live pianist took in music requests so we were able to listen to songs we like.

Very pleasant moment in an Italian atmosphere, delicious and typical dishes. We tried the daisy pizza, the tomato soup with garlic bread and the bruscheta and it was really very good! I'm not talking about the glass of wine served very generously ;-)

Went here for a late lunch and was seated right away. Really enjoyed the live music and the staff were very friendly. We got a pizza, pasta and steak to share as a three, and the meal was quite filling. Highly recommend the spaghetti bolognese.

Good location, The Best Service, Tasty food, Thank you Silvia for your incredible attention. We went 3 nights in a row and my favorite dishes were the Lamb and Bisteca... also the grilled chicken. Definitely when I come back to London I will be returning.

Trattoria VERDI gave me the best birthday surprise. Everything is just perfect the food, ambiance, music etc. The staff is kind and welcoming. Me and my friends had a lovely time over here. I would highly recommend Italian cuisine lover to visit this restaurant.

Never had Italian cuisine like the one I had at Trattoria Verdi. The ambience takes me back to old Italian restaurants at London’s doorstep. And lastly the staff is warm, welcoming, and courteous. They go out of the way to makes their customers day! My favourite - Fettucine Alfredo and Tiramisu. ✨

The price we paid was way too expensive. Tasty food is not what you get there. The service was okay but the deliveries were messed up. Don‘t ordee coffee unless you want to spend 10 pounds per cup, it isn‘t worth this much.

We've loved eating here over the years during our annual December jaunts to London, we usually stay in the Bloomsbury area, & were delighted to have dinner here again on Saturday evening. We each had veggie tortelloni - great to have three choices of fillings in this dish, which has its own charming 'mini menu' section - both were delicious & just the right quantity for us both, & then we shared the tiramisu, which was utterly delicious! I had a brief but lovely chat with a gentleman I thought might be the owner, told him the tiramisu was 'stupendous' to which he asked if I would say so in a review - duly done! - & he shook my hand & wished me all the very best, which of course I reciprocated. Look forward very much to eating here on our visit next year - thank you so much to everyone who made our time here so enjoyable.

Visiting from the United States. We started with a party of two and ended up being a party of six. All staff were very accommodating and incredibly friendly. Great atmosphere that feels comfortable and like home. Silvia took excellent care of us and had a great attention to detail! If we lived here, this would be one of the regular places I would visit.

The food was good but… Be aware that they will add a service charge in the bill at 10%. It is not noted on the bill and it also says service not included on the paper bill. A sly move and lots of other reviews on here back up this point. The food was very nice and service was ok, a little too fast if anything. I would recommend the Bolognese. Felt a little rushed at times and probably would’ve had a dessert if the service was a little slower, maybe they wanted the next customers in? Make sure you book in advance as it will be very busy, the online booking system was very good and easy to use. Do this to avoid queues and disappointment, especially at a weekend.

It's not that great!!! Aside from the quality of the food, the prices are excessive! And then the bill is not clear: the service is not indicated as clearly as it should be! I absolutely advise against choosing this restaurant!

I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant, which is tucked away in an area which otherwise has a lot of tourist traps! The food was delicious, high quality and authentic, and they were happy to personalise it for us too. The service was very good and the prices for meals are reasonable. The only recommendation I'd have for the restaurant is that booking was quite hard (I tried to ring but struggled to get through so ended up emailing) but it is definitely worth it so make sure you go!

We were out for a late lunch and stumbled upon this little gem. Real Italian food! We enjoyed pasta and pizza dishes and desserts. All was tasty - but the pizza was the best we ever had!

I was looking for a place to eat near my accommodation late at night, so I stopped by because it was close, and it was a better experience than I expected! I ordered carbonara, lamb ribs, and steak, and all three were really delicious! :) I ordered wine as it was recommended and it was really good. And the owner was so kind and cute... ㅠㅠ I don't know if it was because I ate a lot, but they even gave me free lemoncello, so I ate it well... haha ​​I'm making great memories in London. Sylvia is good~

Always a Dinner to remember with a long history of a unique and extraordinary tomato sauce that can not be denied since established since 1964 ! We were lucky again to get TOMAS, who always gives us great service and fun. The Spaghetti alla Bolognese and the Lasagna Tradizionale was delicious and really quick for us to catch a show in time. We are always happy to be back in London to dine at the Trattoria!
