Decent restaurant with a good steak menu. The place is not far from Kings Cross station with views of the canal perfect for a group get together or a romantic datenight

Reem was so good serving us throughout the evening. You don’t find people like her nowadays that care about making your evening a great experience!

I had my 30th birthday here in the private dining area. The food was amazing and the bottomless drinks deal was perfect for the celebration. I do believe the service could be improved as there was confusions when organising the event and some miscommunication during the event that was not ideal but overall I had a fantastic birthday. Thank you

Looked nice, but it is basically lost. Half karaoke bar, half private disco parties, The restaurant is an after thought, and the food is lazy - just like the cocktails made from supermarket ingredients. Avoid this place like the plague.

Tuvimos un maravilloso almuerzo familiar aquí hoy. Éramos cinco, ya que estábamos ordenando principalmente carne grande a base de red, solo teníamos pan y aceitunas para mordisquear al principio. Compartí el cordero herby Texel, una persona tenía un ojo de costilla otra tenía filete de grupa y una persona tenía el menú de brunch de aguacate. A todos nos pidieron nuestras preferencias en cuanto a cómo se debía cocinar la carne y todos fueron recibidos como se solicitó. Los lados estaban muy bien cocinados y condimentados también. Todos estábamos encantados con nuestra comida. Elegí un vino italiano que era excelente, así como y no demasiado caro para lo que era. El servicio era muy bueno y tres de nosotros tenía postres que eran encantadores también. Volveremos.

Good food, good value, slow service the evening we attended

Domingo almuerzo. El almuerzo de Navidad anunciado no estaba disponible, sin pre-pedido. Los platos de carne eran buenos, y el vino. El entorno es precioso. Vegetariano ligeramente abrumador. Servicio alegre con la bienvenida Maitre'd, pero deficiente a partir de entonces. Las copas de los cócteles no se despejaron hasta el final de la comida y nuestro anfitrión tuvo que levantarse y pedirles que despejaran la mesa después de 20 minutos con el mismo camarero caminando muchas veces que debe haber visto esto. Las aceitunas nunca llegaron. Tampoco al final nos ofreció buenos deseos ni nos agradeció por venir. Cosas simples pero equivocarse significa que no volveremos.

A great time with friends and we were well taken care by the staff. Lots of laughter in a great environment.

Really awful service. I sent a booking request 16 hours ago (the website had an option for 1900-2030) Only found out now they cannot fullfil this request. Now have no time to find an alternative. Feel very let-down!

Always saw this place from the canal side but never went in. The food was surprisingly good. Atmosphere was quiet and pretty good for a work lunch with clients or colleagues! There's also working desks outside at the lobby (for free) where you can get a coffee and work from there a bit if you want. It's such a good deal!

Made a last minute booking for a Sunday roast. Staff are very welcoming, very professional and knowledgeable. Enjoyed our lunches very much. Only thing I would say is a little less of the hard upsell re sides etc and to have salt and pepper on the table. Will 100% return, lovely setting and enjoyed the food immensely.

Rotunda was fantastic! My wife and I attended a “Meet the Maker” Wine Dinner with Vieira de Sousa, and it was an incredible experience. The dinner was held in a private room and the food was excellent—generous portions and perfectly paired with the wine, bringing out the best in each dish. The wine itself was exceptional, and the winemaker’s passion truly came across, adding to the enjoyment. The hosts were warm and welcoming, creating a comfortable atmosphere. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions about the wine, and the explanations were both informative and engaging. Overall, it was a wonderful night, and we’re hoping they hold more events like this in the future.

Really impressed with this gem tucked away behind Kings Cross. On the river with plenty of seating and bar space. Food was cooked beautifully and service was delightful. I’d absolutely return.

We are from Florida, I took my wife here for her birthday. Food was absolutely amazing, we split the chateaubriand steak, which was over 30oz. Try the garlic corn on the cobb as a good side to a main dish. For desert we had chocolate cake and apple pie. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Menu is modern with a great selection of small plates. Location is convenient to Kings Cross station. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good steak and casual atmosphere.

Had a great meal here. Honestly one of the best steaks I’ve had in the UK. Excellent wine selection too. Any cellar with a South African red from Swaartland means business. Loved it!

classy yet cosy. I specially like the canal side seating. Classis cocktails are good but not a fan of fusion ones.

We visited last Friday on a reccomendation and found Rotunda to be everything you could hope for from a great restaurant. The staff were welcoming, knowledgable and attentive and the cooking was confident (and delicious) without being unnecessarily showy. We got chance to talk to Chef Piotr at the end and it's clear he loves the ingredients and the menu hes created. Would definately go back.

We ordered the roast beef as part of the Sunday roast. We didn't know the beef club needed to be pre ordered so we missed out on that. The food was average overall. The rump beef needed more seasoning, we need to ask for more gravy and the hummus starter needed more... Hummus. I think they can elevate the meals by simply not being stingy on cheap food items like hummus, gravy and adding some bread to nibble on while we wait. The chunky chips were amazing making me wish I just got a burger with chips instead of the roast.

Had a amazing roast, taste was great. The only issue was that they need to provide more veg, at the cost £26 per roast, please do not be tight with the veg , ie potato, cabbage and peas 😋.

Came here on Saturday 10th of August. Group of 15 of us to celebrate my hen party. Great place for a get together with friends and drinks. Great view of the canal. Staff were friendly and service was good. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.!!😃

Almorzamos y fue la peor comida y el peor servicio que he experimentado en un restaurante de Londres de precio medio en años. La ensalada de langostinos tigre era una broma - langostinos diminutos fuera de un congelador por la apariencia de ellos; secos e insípidos. La ensalada César de pollo era aún peor. Nuestra orden fue tomada incorrectamente; sin cubiertos ni platos; tres veces de pedir algo de pan, que cuando llegó estaba rancio. El gerente no se disculpó. Avoid.

Nice place, the view on the canal, the wind, the hanging meat, the whole decoration was worth it. The food is nice, I tried the grilled lamb. Nice London lunch or dinner time spot

Beautiful location but really not impressed by the food. The portion sizes for the large plates are tiny - we were starving after. I ordered the aubergine which came with a turmeric paste - literally tasted of pure turmeric. I asked for salt, to be given an empty grinder. Probably a nice place for a drink and we didn’t try the meat options but I can’t say I’ll eat here again.

Fantástico almuerzo de sábado con pareja y bebé al lado del canal. Hermosa vista y un servicio maravilloso. Casi no pude encontrar la entrada un poco confusa de cómo entrar. Filete con papas fritas, gambas tigre y croquetas de cordero todo muy bien cocinado. Bien hecho!

Food was great, location on the river was lovely, only downside was it isn't in the sun for dinner. IVAN was an absolute superstar and very accommodating. Was with my pregnant friend and he kindly bought over cushions and blankets to make us more comfortable. Thank you 😊

Ivan was a fantastic server, very knowledgeable of the menu and helpful in looking after our party! The food was great and atmosphere good even on a Monday evening.

This place has a wonderful location and a great atmosphere. But the meal that I had there last night was truly horrible. We had the ‘pre-show’ menu - a stodgy lifeless gungy salad to start. My partner then had a steak that was rubbery and ultimately inedible without a great deal of chewing. I had a gnocchi that was rubbery and bitter. Worst of all, because we were right for time to make the show (service was very slow too) I didn’t have time to complain. The food really lets down the venue.

The positive is the location and decor. On the downside is the inept bar staff.

We went for the Sunday roast, and although it's not the best I've had, it was good. The service was great, I would go back again simply for that reason. If you are looking for a nice venue to catch up with friends over a meal, I would recommend here.

We enjoyed a Sunday roast beside the canal. The meal was nicely plated, veg and beef were delicious. Yorkshire pudding was a bit dry though. Overall, a lovely meal.

This restaurant is in a lovely position right on the river, food and service was good. There were four adults and one child and we all had the Sunday roast, plus drinks and three sweets. On receiving the bill, a little expensive but expected with service charge added. There was a little confusion, all the adults said they would pay, but my husband grabbed the bill to pay and of course he didn’t notice that the tip had already been added, the lady think she was the manager coerced him to round up the bill to £200, so nearly a forty pound tip. Service was good but not that good, so after a nice couple of hours we left feeling a little cheated.

Extremely attentive service in a good way: quick, polite but not obsequious. We were having a bit of a gathering on probably one of the warmest evenings of this dismal summer (so far), so it was great to sit out by the canal and take in the London atmosphere. We find this restaurant slightly quieter than the restaurants in the nearby Coal Drops, which makes it perfect for a night when you want to talk to each other rather than shout. We will be back!

Hidden gem at St Panc/King's Cross. If you've never been then put it on your list to visit. Amazing food and ambience on the river. Staff second to none.

Shame to arrive at a restaurant advertising mainly steak to find minimal choice, apparently the butcher supplier was on holiday! This information was drip fed as we asked for yet another choice! We were given a table near the chef so assumed we might see some action. The only action we saw was on the part of the chef agonising over spreadsheets for staff availability in the coming week! Didn't help the ambience. Staff did check out food served was ok. However, they could do with learning that rubbing their nose constantly whilst also serving food is very off-putting Expensive meal. Won't be returning.

Excellent food full of taste. The sharing tomahawk of beef was delicious. The only thing that spoiled a perfect evening was a long wait for the aperitif including being told the bar was too busy to serve. After that awkward start could not fault anything else.

I was actually very surprised by the quality of the steak given the price! We chose to go for bottomless and while they were a little slow to begin with when it came to top ups, they more than made up for it later. Service was great and it was a beautiful setting sitting out by the canal. It was also dog friendly! Shout out to Rem who made our visit extra wonderful.

What a lovely dinner experience! The place is beautiful, with a deck overlooking a canal. On a warm day there was a great crowd for drinks on the deck. Our indoor sit down was very comfortable. Food was all around excellent, while a bit pricey. One thing, it was a long walk from Euston Road.

We had a mixed experience. On the one hand my food and cocktail were amazing but that highlight was spoiled by a bonkers service. Bits of our order didn't arrive. One friend got her meal at least 20 minutes after the rest of us. These late items were then taken off our bill as a good will gesture. We all appreciated that. We also then got a new waiter whose obsequiousness was annoying. We suspect that he thought a bunch of middle aged women would appreciate being flirted and joked with. Nope. We were just annoyed that our evening kept being interrupted by 'jokes' He didn't pick up that we wanted to spend time with each other rather than humour him. In summary great food, weird service!

Beautiful restaurant which is spacious and pretty. The food was exceptional, we benefitted from the unlimited prosecco and the staff were fab. Great food.

We had an excellent meal at Rotunda in Kings Place. We sat on the terrace, which offered lovely views of the canal (bring a sweater as it was a bit windy). We had the burger, which was delicious and the trout, which was also excellent. Desserts were top notch as well. Our server, Ivan, was attentive, funny and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place for a great meal in a beautiful setting.

Do not be put off by the low number of stars! Visit this place if you are looking to book for a group in pretty surroundings over the summer months. I visited the Rotunda at Kings Place following my last visit to this arts venue at the London Pocast Festival when we visited the - then buzzy - bar and was slightly disappointed. We did book for an early Saturday dinner at 630pm. We arrived early and were able to be seated at circa 6pm. The waitress was lovely and courteous but the manager came and asked if we had finished eating yet when it was clear my companion had not yet finished and the restaurant was anyway pretty empty. My truffle fries barely had any truffle on (I almost always order these if available when I go out so I have a fair bit of experience of them) and the way the seating is constructed meant that every time the little girl in the family sitting behind me moved around, my seat was jolted. And, bless her, she moved around a lot. In an almost empty restaurant, you would have thought that the manager would have had the foresight to seat a family with a five year-old not right behind a pair of adults (it was in part a business meeting). The food was ok but I definitely felt that we were paying for the location rather than the meal. I am a carnivore and have eaten plenty of good beef around the world and I would not say I was blown away by my fatty, gristly and thinly cut ribeye steak. The radish salad was very pretty although dry (as though the radishes had been sitting out, cut, for sometime) and the choice of sauces for our meal (mustard, ketchup and mayo) bog standard with no extra effort made it seemed. The lamb croquettes we ordered to share as a starter felt sludgily underdone and perhaps were not fried at high enough a heat to crisp them up. That said, the surroundings are pretty but, having been so excited to try the food at this restaurant where the staff had been so helpful on my last visit when I had enquired, I felt the visit overall was a let down. Be warned that the loos are quite a long way from the restaurant and down many stairs although they must have an accessible toilet available somewhere in this arts venue. This could be an AMAZING restaurant with just a bit more attention to detail, but it's not there yet... For the moment, I'll keep it in mind as a special place to go for civilised summer drinks. I was lucky enough to be treated for dinner this time but I would not return to spend my money in the, (for me, given the above) over-priced restaurant (we had no alcobol - only tap water and one course plus sides and the bill was over £100). The food was good but not exceptional. The bread and butter was nice, tasted more on the sweet side which is unusual. The salmon starter was great - the mousse accompanying the salmon was delicious. The steak was a bit chewy and the doneness was not even for a few steaks we ordered as a group. The potatoes as a side were good but again, nothing exceptional. The plum tart dessert was great! The staff were a bit too informal in my opinion. There was a bit of chaos with the dishes, too, even though each of the group members had their selection on a cardboard. I can still recommend this place for business meals in groups but would not go there on my own

Honestly absolutely amazing. We arrived at 11am for a bottomless brunch for my friends hen do and our server, Reem, was brilliant! Attentive, personable, respectful, professional... Just 10/10 service. I would 100% recommend anyone to come here, the atmosphere is lovely, absolutely beautiful right by the riverside. Food was stunning, most of us ordered steaks which were beautifully cooked and the attentiveness to topping up with drinks was second to none. We were all so happy with how our experience was and would come back anytime we're in London!

Ten friends hired the private dining space. Shared starters, mains and desserts were excellent with plenty of variety and more than enough food. Pre drinks and service throughout was excellent. Never cheap for a crowd but great place for a private meal. Thoroughly recommend it.

We went here on a whim wile wandering on a Saturday afternoon as we liked the look of the place. Had a couple of drinks outside by the canal and enjoyed it so much we booked dinner for the evening. The evening dinner was so great, amazing chateaubriand! It was my birthday celebration plus St Patrick’s weekend so we also enjoyed the Irish Band playing in the corner. The service from all the staff was fantastic and made the visit very memorable. Special recognition to Nassira, Ivan and Reem but all the team were so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area.

I had a ribeye medium to rare... It was cooked to perfection and every morsel so full of flavour. The best steak I have had for some time. Can't fault the service: I ordered olives while I wait for the main. They were brought with the main but before I could say anything, the gentleman serving me apologised and said I won't be charged for the olives since they were not brought as I had requested. I was very impressed. Very friendly staff all round. Shame I'm only visiting London, or I would be a regular!!

Brilliant and friendly staff, who were attentive and fun. Lovely surroundings to enjoy catching up with friends and family over a bottomless brunch. The only minor criticism is the steak frites was a little tough. However, this was not enough of an issue to deduct a star. I’m sure we will be back!

We came here for Sunday lunch and to celebrate my husband's birthday. We both chose the roast lamb and took advantage of the unlimited wine on offer. Our meals were simply delicious and we had a great time. Must also mention and thank our waitress Reem who was very informative and attentive the whole time and made our experience even better. We will be back.

We came for a dinner with close friends and we loved the atmosphere. The Rib eye steak was juicy and tender, my favourite of the night and the drinks were great! Really good food and really good service. This was our first time and we weren't sure what to expect. But, wow! It was so good. We had the pre-concert menu. Short with good choices. What more could you ask for?

A pre concert meal at the Rotunda for myself and my son. Both our main courses were delicious, Trout and Lamb. Nicely presented and and accompanied by our waiter's Ivan's suggestion for wines. Followed by our sweet course of Mango Posset and Expresso Martini Choc Pot. Staff, especially Ivan, very attentive and we ate in good time to get to our show. Many thanks, hope we can come again.

Looking for an affordable, beautiful, entertaining brunch? Look no further. We have been here twice. Stunning setting, elegant interior, excellent food, wonderful service. All the staff are incredibly accommodating, Reem looked after us spectacularly on both occasions. Made the day for us all both times, would definitely come back and enjoy.

What a stunning place this is. We had spent the weekend in London to do some shopping and sightseeing as well as seeing our son who is one of The Pink Singers who had a sellout concert at Cadogan Hall on the Saturday night. Robin met us near to his canal boat mooring - just around the corner from the Rotunda building - and he treated us to a delicious 2 course Sunday lunch washed down with a nice bottle of Merlot Service was excellent and the food was delicious Thank you

Our first visit and I very much doubt that it will be our last being not only just a few steps and a lift from the concert hall but also offering excellent food and wine in a vibrant setting with very helpful staff. Went for the theatre menu because it made the choice easier and we were not disappointed at any stage - my beef being particularly flavoursome and just falling off the bone. I can also personally vouch for the pear and frangipane tart which melted in the mouth. Extensive wine list with some unusual elements. All around, a very good experience!

Been there for brunch. Nice atmosphere, deli food and great service made this place outstanding. On top of terrace is cool and location at canal side is great.
