Rudy's Pizza Napoletana - Didsbury in Manchester

We took our daughter for her birthday as its her favourite place we couldn't get in to our local Altrincham or sale so didsbury was our only option pizza was brilliant as always but the staff was extremely rude no click with kids or adult customers just walking about ignoring people talking to each other looking at there phones, we paid the bill in cash gave the waiter £70 for a £52 bill she just took the money and never returned with change, now two ways of looking at it Christmas 100% we would of got the £18 change and said put it in the tip jar but she had no intention of giving us our change nor to say thankyou very much merry Christmas they didn't even say bye thanks for coming or anything so can safely say we won't return to this branch not a drop on Altrincham branch

I was having issues with uber eats and called and spoke with Ella who was super nice and helpful and really tried to fix the issue. Ultimately it was out of her hands as it was a fault on ubers end but she was great. I did manage to make an order and the pizza was lovely as always but I just wanted to say thanks to Ella!

Went for lunch on a Sunday morning. We hadn't booked, but they managed to fit us in. The food was great and the service was even better. Would definitely recommend it!

Bit pricey but otherwise great. Good range of pizzas with thin and crispy bases.

Really enjoyed the restaurant and for a earlier dining on a Sunday the place was busy, so tells you it's good. The dips with are spot on.

Great Rudy’s! The atmosphere is very nice, the staff are lovely. the service was very quick at 8 1 hour before closing. My pizza was a bit sparse on toppings tho! Yummy nevertheless.

Great pizza. Really appreciate the warming instructions on the take away box. The dough didn't knock my socks off so lost a star.

Thomas made our night very special tonight as I celebrated with two friends for birthdays..He was so attentive and went the extra mile with our glass of bubbly and a little candle..It was a very busy night but Thomas remained so professional and offered very good service all night we had a lovely time and Athena looked after us well too. Omg, my daughter celebrated her 11th birthday party in Rudys private room in Didsbury and what a night they had. A massive shout out to Rima and the team, who hosted all 9 girls. Waited on them patiently , made them all feel so special, chatted to them, took photos of them enjoying their night. My daughter and her friends expressed to me that it was the best bday party they had ever been at. That’s down to Rudys staff, thank you so much for the care and attention you gave. It made all the difference. Xx

We’ve always loved Rudy’s on the whole but this last experience has topped it all off. Had a scare this morning, ending up in A&E from stupid o’clock in the morning. My girlfriend and I were not doing our best by the time we were given the all clear and so we decided to order in a takeaway as we hadn’t eaten all day. Not only did the food taste amazing but we received an extra pizza to our order with a note saying: “have this one on us, hope you enjoy!”. It was a selfless act of kindness to strangers, but they didn’t realise how much it meant to us on a day like today. Kindness and amazing pizza is a great combination so could not recommend Rudy’s more

Nelson was an exceptional waiter who made my birthday celebration truly special. His kindness and confidence added to the overall experience, and the service was incredibly fast and efficient. Thanks to him, my birthday dinner was outstanding, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more!

They don't skimp on the toppings on the pizza, and the Cheesecake was to die for. Will be back as soon as I can

Wow what a fabulous time we had the management where brilliant so accommodating my son just had surgery and want to go to Rudys even while in pain. The manager took extra care and attention above and beyond she was brilliant 👏 Ruby's didn't charge us for my sons meal I was lost for words what a generous fabulous thing to do...thank you Ruby's ❤️

If you ever find yourself Disbury, please pay a visit to these guys. You won't be disappointed as the pizza's are simply delicious. I tried one with fennel sausage which I've never tried before and smoked mozzarella. Well....10/10 for flavour, I highly recommend. My husband had the nduja sausage one (sorry can't quite remember the names) and he thoroughly enjoyed his too. I had the cherry aperol spritz to drink and I have to say, the glass wasn't anywhere near big enough because it was so find ourselves that way again. Keep up the good work guys 😁

First time at Rudy's, I cannot fault the food or service. All excellent. Only concern I had was the flour and grease on the floor and stairs to the toilet. An accident waiting to happen! Otherwise it would have been a 5 stars.

Tried Rudy’s for the first time. It was a Monday night and absolutely packed so we were worried we wouldn’t get seated. We were seen to and they cleaned a table for us quickly. Whilst waiting for the table two more members of staff came to see us to make sure we were being served, which was nice considering how busy it was. A little confusing that uniform isn’t worn as at first we couldn’t really tell who worked there! The food came very quickly after ordering. We were served by a lady named Daisy and she was very polite and friendly. Made sure everything was good with us. The food was delicious - we had a garlic bread starter which was absolutely massive plus two pizzas not realising how big they were! Will definitely be back.

My 1st time in here and definitely will not be my last the food is spot on and the atmosphere is buzzing and a special thanks to Ella who provided great service with a smile and always got me proper coke none of this sugar free stuff. We were VERY pleased to find that Rudy’s have introduced a halal pepperoni topping. We used to go once in a blue moon but now go very regularly as we love the pizza and mocktails.

First time at Rudy’s and really enjoyed it and what topped off a great evening was the brilliant service from Nelson. Nothing was too much trouble and we really felt looked after. You’ve hired a golf one there Rudy’s!

I'd wanted to try Rudy's for ages and finally got round to it. Clearly a very popular spot even at 5.15pm on a Wednesday it was lively and buzzing. Service was excellent throughout. Pizzas were very decent and large without blowing my mind.

Always a great experience to be had at Rudys. Staff are friendly and extremely accommodating. The pizzas are incredible, always have a few specials on the menu which I always have to try and I haven't been disappointed yet. Pizzas arrived on our table in no time at all, cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend trying Rudys out if you haven't already.

Came in with high expectations and they were satisfied I personally hate cheese when I saw there was a cheese less marinara I knew i would be happy the tiramisu was very strong and creamy. The server was kind and understanding and helped pronounce the Italian foods to any Italian pizza lovers I would fully recommend here 5 stars

wow very disappointed i’ve been here numerous times and ordered via deliveroo before i’d ordered 3 pizza for £54.80 they were terribly presented but looked better than they tasted to be honest, if they are not going to give deliveroo orders the same love respect and standard as when you walk in they shouldn’t use the platform. i’ve complained to deliveroo let’s see what’s happens.

Better than any other rudys! Ella and Niall, our waiters, were fab and super friendly. We used to live in ancoats and found the rudys there went kind of downhill… service slow, not friendly and always rammed. This was so much better!

Always great food at Rudy's and always amazing customer service. Pizzas don't get better than this aswell. Proper thin base with an actual taste to it unlike other chemical filled places. Any Rudy's is great including this one.

We’d JUST arrived in the area for a month of rest at the Nazarene Theological College and decided to walk into town to find a pizza place to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. As we reached the cross street, two young women were walking along and I asked if they could recommend a great place to enjoy pizza. They commented, “There are several good places in the area, but Rudy’s is the best!” The atmosphere was perfect - the cooks seemed to work as a well-oiled machine; the table service was terrific, and our server made sure we were enjoying every bit of our time. She even brought us an extra pizza and shared a tiramisu with my daughter to celebrate her birthday! The pizza was so delicious - I wanted to eat slowly to savor the wonderful flavors. We’ll be back!

This place was just okay nothing more, nothing less. The pizza was fine but forgettable. The service was a little rude - I'm not sure if they had been incentivised to push a certain wine that night but it certainly felt that way. They also made a few untactful comments that made everyone around the table feel uncomfortable. I can only assume that the reviews are so high because of the lack of good places to eat in Didsbury...

We came to Rudys last night (24th) for my mums 60th and had the private room at the back. The service was amazing. The woman serving us was so lovely and attentive and didn’t mind the kids running around (she had a long brown ponytail and crop top and leggings). She was amazing and the food was 10/10 as usual. Thanks!!

I ordered via Uber eats, quick service and decent pizza. I ordered a margarita and it was quite a nice authentic pizza experience. I ordered the 3 dips, as a vegetarian I couldn’t eat the nduja sauce, the garlic aioli was nice and I wasn’t a fan of the chilli honey one as it was way too sweet for my preference. The garlic aioli was a little bit too salty for my taste but it was nice in small amounts and accompanied well with the pizza. Pizza was quickly cooked and delivered on time and no items were missed. Overall a pleasant dining experience and high quality pizza.

Rudys is my go to pizza in any city that I can find it. The triple pepperoni is my favourite but everything is great here. Perfect Italian pizza and I love that you can order dips for the crust. Most Italian pizza places are purists and don't allow that, but it's a great addition for me.
