. . Instalaciones para preparar té y café, ubicación ideal para playa, ciudad y muelle, regresaremos. . Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra estancia.

A typical breakfast buffet where some of the items are sitting in heated cabinets and are past their best.

Stayed for two nights as a couple with friends. Check in was pleasant with reception staff very helpful. Early drop off of bags was fine and local directions and suggestions for meals out happily provided. Bar/restaurant is modern and comfortable. Breakfast is full english buffet style with decent soffee making machine available along with cereals, juices etc. Rooms are well sized and appointed including hairdryer and full ironing board and iron if that's the sort of thing you like to do on holiday. Rooms were warm (it was Feberuary after all) wiht a good powerful heater if required. Our room had partial sea view of the pier. All the staff were friendly and helpful, room cleaned well by staff. Would definitely recommend.

Having seen a number of restaurants walking around Eastbourne, most of which looked like Wimpys from the 1970s (!), i tried this one; I had a very good steak (rare) and nice pud - good value. Not many customers - but the surroundings were modern and newly refurbished. Staff were helpful.

Good hot and cold food. The English breakfast was very good. No waiting and friendly polite member of staff making sure you had all you needed. Good price compared with other hotels. If you pre-book the breakfast it nearly £2.00 cheaper than if you just show up on the day.

Went to this hotel for a work Christmas party. Paid 38 pounds which I thought at the time of booking was a bit much. We have all been to bad Christmas parties!! Well I was completely wrong, I am pleased to say. Had a glass of wine on arrival which was very nice. In fact I drunk this wine all evening and I'm not a wine drinker. The hotel is very smart and clean and warm. The function room was beautifully decorated with plenty of space to move around and a small dance floor. The music was good for everyone and the dj knew his job. As for the food, I cannot fault it. Presentation was lovely, nice and hot and very tasty. We all got served at the same time and the menu was good. The staff working that night were friendly and professional and cannot be criticised. I can't find a negative and would happily recommend this hotel.

When visited last year it was pretty grim. Food was very poor including breakfast.Think it was a foreign chef who could not prepare english meals. Hope it has improved!

My husband and I booked this hotel online, but appeared to have been charged more than what the booking price stated. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the hotel either. Upon arrival we had to wait, no problem, but there were no facilities to have a warm drink to make us feel welcome. The reception area was cold, draft coming from main door that kept opening and closing. The ceiling in room 313 was badly stained and part of it was hanging down. The air vent in the bathroom did not work, was reported to reception, but nothing was done about it, leaving us afraid of the steam from the shower setting off the smoke detector. Also, there was no towel rail or radiator in the bathroom, not very pleasant at all. We were not told there was no food being served in the dining area, yet there was a sign outside the room asking you to wait, so we did. 10 minutes later, at 18:10 we decided to check with reception, only to be told evening meals are not provided out of season. We then had to go back to our rooms to fetch our coats to go hunting for a restaurant, luckily we found somewhere close by. The following morning we had breakfast, but it was freezing in the dining area, no heating in there at all, thus the food got cold very quickly, even the plates were cold. The summer months may be okay, but not in the middle of winter. The price for 2 nights, inclusive of breakfast came to £97.60 although the booking price indicated much lower i.e. £82.30. Personally, we could have got a better deal from the Premier Inn; at least it would have been warmer, with meals being optional. We got married the same day of booking and just wanted a quiet celebration away, thus why we booked the room in advance, based on other reviews. However, this was a very disappointing break. We would love to go back to the hotel because of the location and thus be able to give a better review.

Comfortable room with en-suite shower/facilities. Given an unexpected sea view at no additional cost. Helpful and polite staff, particularly in restaurant. Great value for money with 3 night stay booked on-line (savers deal). Parking voucher issued at £1 per day. Managed to find spot opposite hotel. Brought own fan as windows in room had restricted opening (security) and hot otherwise. Access to rooms via reception area only possible using swipe card so good security. Would consider staying again.

Usual tap beers available. I had a Guinness which was very nice. Music being piped through which was very pleasant. Wooden floors throughout and a mix match of tables and chairs. Staff were friendly and polite. Descently decorated. Enjoyed my visit.

I had a shocking experience at The Pier Hotel, Eastbourne, and I strongly urge others to avoid staying here. The entire ordeal was a nightmare from start to finish. When I arrived a little earlier than the 2 pm check-in time, the front door was locked, and there was a piece of paper attached saying it would only be open from 2 pm to 10 pm. This is highly unusual and unprofessional for a hotel. I returned at 2 pm and was greeted by a receptionist named Muhammad, who told me that the room I had booked—a single room with a bath—was no longer available due to “bad bugs.” When I asked if he meant “bed bugs,” he curtly corrected me but offered no apology for the inconvenience or lack of communication beforehand regarding this health hazardous conditions they were in. I reluctantly agreed to accept a different room, as there were no other options, but when I asked about their lost key policy (they charge £60 if a key is lost but no one will be there to collect my keys at the reception when I check out at 10am), the receptionist suddenly became hostile. He shouted at me, told me I could no longer stay, and claimed he would cancel my booking. His behaviour was completely unprofessional and shocking, leaving me stranded in Eastbourne and scrambling to find alternative accommodation at the last minute. The hotel itself is run-down and feels abandoned. The restaurant and bar areas are barricaded from outside with rubbish around and look nothing like the photos online. To make matters worse, after I reported the incident to the online booking agents the hotel falsely claimed that I refused to stay when in fact it was their staff who refused to accommodate me. This was, without question, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had in or outside the UK. It is unprofessional, dishonest, and in terrible condition. I’ve reported the incident to the online booking agent, including photos to prove the state of the property. Avoid this place at all costs—Eastbourne is a lovely town, but this hotel will ruin your trip.
