Conveniently located within Terminal 5 a quick walk to the hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. However rooms were a bit dated and the mattress was hard. But would do a great job for an overnight stay especially when having an early morning flight out!

We have overnighted at the T5 Sofitel several times. The location is perfect and the hotel itself is quiet and comfortable. Check-in is easy, and the staff always are friendly and efficient. The morning breakfast is excellent, whether I want a light "continental" breakfast or the "full English".

The room was lovely, comfy beds, great bathroom with lovely shower gel etc plenty of tea and coffee available instead of just one cup. TV not great only handful of channels so limited things to watch.

Booked on the day after BA cancelled flight. We had been put in a hotel the day before but it was a poor experience so we booked into Sofitel at T5. The people could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful and it made being stranded a much better experience. Lovely dinner in La Belle Epoque too

A fantastic hotel at Heathrow Terminal 5. Highly recommended

Fantastic Hotel. We were flying from T5 Heathrow, so using this hotel is very handy as you only go down the elevator and you are at the We will definitely use it again. 5 🌟Hotel with 5 star service and food.

This hotel is ideally situated for anyone travelling, especially in / out of T5. The rooms are comfortable and the bathrooms pleasant. Living in America, the one thing I did love about this hotel is that it has full sized bath tubs for relaxing in after a long flight! Staff are friendly and helpful.

Our flight was cancelled at short notice because of a severe red weather alert. Hotel refused us any assistance to rebook. We're shocked and dismayed as we have stayed here regularly in the past. Under the circumstances, any hotel that looks to profit from others misfortune should be avoided.

Another fantastic stay at the Sofitel Heathrow. This hotel is ideally situated for T5 as a short walk and lift to departures. The food in the restaurant is really good and all the hotel staff are friendly and professional. The rooms are well appointed, clean and tidy with everything you need for a short stay

I’ve stayed here many times and it’s always been what I needed - worth a stay no matter which terminal you’re flying from.

Really great way to start our holiday, the Sofitel was lovely. Very modern and comfortable with super easy access to T5. The breakfast was delicious. We’ll definately do this again

We stayed at Sofitel Heathrow on way to and from Rome. First stay was 24 hour layover. After flying for +10 hours, it was quick and easy to drop off luggage and hop on the Elizabeth train to city for dinner and a show in the West End. Rooms are very quiet and peaceful. Next morning, we used the gym and had breakfast before walking to terminal 5 to catch the flight to Rome. On the return, we landed, checked in, dropped bags in our room and were on the train to the city for dinner + show again within the hour. amazing. We used the gym and booked spa appointments the next morning so we were relaxed for the +10 hour flight home. Staff is friendly and great location and convenience. 10/10 recommend

From the welcome to the room itself this felt like a luxury stay - made all the better by being able to book parking for just £40 overnight, and take free transfers on the Heathrow Express / Elizabeth Line to our terminal (3). Even the parking lot was easy to find. Would recommend this to anyone!

It's a great hotel that fits almost everything. Once there, always there.

One would stay here just for the location for a late arrival to or early departure from T5. The room has no natural light and very dated. Restaurant was busy and food was just edible.

Perfect hotel for T5. Great rooms and service!

I came in at 6am after a 5 hour bus ride and was looking for a room because my flight had been postponed to the next day. I was exhausted and I’m sure it showed. The nice receptionist quickly checked me into a room even though check-in wasn’t till 3pm. I lost her card, but I remember her name started with a G. The room was nice and cozy and allowed me to get some much needed sleep before a 14 hour flight back to the states.

No paper guides to hotel services in room just a QR code directing you to somewhere online however it took you to an out of date menu at Sphere with the dishes that I’d chosen from the online menu not available, when I asked server about this he didn’t seem to care saying the website was out of date not realising the relevance. Order some In Room dining and the correct Silverware wasn’t included. It’s a first world problem having to reuse utinsels for desert and soup but you’d think a hotel of this calibre would get the basics right.

1 night before an early flight in the only LHR T5 "airport" hotel that is actually physically connected. I have had £25 taxi fees and/or delays for other hotels but a comfortable and totally enclosed walk here. Our room was exceedingly well thought out and maintained with a good selection of differing thickness pillows, a discreet but effective night light to avoid damaged toes on night visits and effective sound and light insulation: we will return

Short layover so needed a place to rest in between flights, was affordable and conveniently attached to the terminal I was arriving at and flying out of. Affordable rates and comfortable rooms, worth it.

Arrived, waited over an hour at reception and was told at least a 45 minute wait for room service. Extremely disappointed, high price with absolutely low service and rooms from the 80s. Stay Clear.

Excellent hotel, as close to Terminal 5 as you can get, comfortable, quiet with friendly staff

Great room and amenities, however, room was over warm and difficult to sleep.

The Sofitel London Heathrow has the convenience of being directly connected to the airport terminal, which makes it very practical for travelers. However, the interior feels outdated, with the decor and facilities in need of renovation. The hotel is also quite dimly lit, which affects the overall ambiance. While the location is excellent for catching early flights, the overall experience could be improved with some updates to the rooms and common areas.

Please beware that in regards to the hotel security deposit, it takes 30 days for Sofitel to refund it to your bank account, even when you have checked out and the bill has been settled just fine. It seems like an excessive amount of time to be holding onto someone's deposit. Haven't had this experience anywhere else where I have stayed over the years.

Convenient comfortable quiet hotel for T5. The free connections to other terminals by train is very useful although you can simply walk to T5.

Amazing stay before our early flight to Thailand. Room was quiet, spacious and the bed one of the most comfortable we’ve ever found in a hotel. Our luxury room (with free mini bar and turndown service) included access to Club Millesime that offered a great selection of drinks and canapes. During our time in the lounge we had the pleasure to speak to Food & Beverage Manager Georgia as she was spot checking the spread before the Happy Hour started. Excellent service from Sujeefwa who kept our glasses topped up and couldn’t do enough for us.

Superbly connected to the airport (T5), excellent room, clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet is also of a good standard. It's not cheap but if you want quality, you won't be disappointed.

Location, Location, Location. And that is what this Hotel is all about. It's "old school", which I like in a Hotel .. big rooms, spacious public places, the "pub" downstairs does good food. Is it overpriced? Yes, for what is is, but, to roll out of bed and walk to an early morning flight is worth a lot.

A few minutes walk from terminal 5 the staff are great, the room quiet but it’s pricey. Staff are super friendly. No power sockets next to the bed. The previous welcome for Platinum members has been withdrawn.

Overnight stay for T5 flights. Super efficient check in, spacious hotel. Amazingly comfortable rooms with everything you could need (the Sofitel sleep system is something else!!). It was so comfortable, I didn’t want ro leave. Well done again Sofitel 👌🏻

Walking distance to Heathrow Airport.

Staff were great and very friendly and attentive, and the location is excellent for terminal 5 transit. If you are coming from another terminal, note that the lift to the hotel is located outside opposite Marks and Spencers, on the arrival level of T5. We were given an early check-in which was much appreciated, this helped for our day out in London. One improvement would be the club breakfast with only one cooked option included. However coffee was great and we definitely did not leave hungry. Would definitely stay again next time I am overnighting in London.

Had a lovely stay, the hotel has everything you need, really nice bathroom extras, bath and walk in shower, soft dressing gowns and towels, comfortable bed, quiet, black out curtains, I slept like a baby. The breakfast was fantastic, high quality produce, loads of options, English selection had everything even black pudding, top of the range pastries, full continental selection and some eastern options, chefs on hand at the station. The Hotel really make an effort to meet everyone’s requirements without compromising on quality. We experienced a delay with our flight so we decided to use the spa when we checked out and the hotel looked after our bags without issue. I felt like I had been transported somewhere else not an airport, the ladies are very friendly and helpful, the facility’s were clean, they supply everything you need and more. The spa bath was so relaxing offering different hydro massages, steam and sauna room well maintained, there are further complementary towels and lemon water with relaxing lounge chairs, I was actually glad we got delayed 😁. After the spa we had a drink in the tea room, again experienced polite and friendly staff, the wine was high quality. All the staff at the hotel were polite and helpful, couldn’t have asked for a more enjoyable relaxing, de stressing stay. Thank you to all the amazing staff at the hotel. When booking I was looking at prices compared to other hotels not as close to the airport, the location and the quality of the hotel is worth every penny and I wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.

Returned once again to the Sofitel before an early morning flight. Luxurious room (Double upgrade as an Accor cardholder); excellent meal in the restaurant; great night's sleep; and quick and easy express checkout. Not much more we could have asked for other than an on time flight - which BA managed to provide.

Generally it’s fine for an airport hotel. What you expect. BUT THERE ARE NO PLUG SOCKETS NEXT TO THE BED!!! You can’t charge your phone. In a major hotel chain. In 2024. Crazy.

We were flying out early the next morning from Terminal 5 at Heathrow and wanted to have a relaxed morning. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and will certainly book in future should we have similar requirements.

The most I can fault my room for is a stiff tap handle, otherwise it had everything needed, was really quiet and comfortable.

Very classy hotel. Beautiful setting and fairly easy to get to without satnav. Stayed here with my wife and child and our room came ready with cot. Lovely restaurant that isn't too expensive. We had 2 mains and a beer for £60. The room itself was lush. We dont live near Heathrow so wanted a touch of comfort, relaxation and luxury the night before flying and it really delivered. Only improvements is that the in room phone didnt work, so to call reception i needed to use my own phone and call. Ok for me but a tad annoying if you don't have a UK phone. Will definitely do this again when flying from T5

Our “go to” hotel prior to, and after long haul Heathrow flights. Very high quality rooms, services and excellent staff - all at a very reasonable price.

We only stayed one night as we flew out early the next morning. The lobby, hotel room, lounge and surrounding areas were very clean. We appreciated the complimentary minibar and offerings at the lounge. Sometimes even at luxury hotels, “clean” is subjective. And I will admit, I was very pleased with the cleanliness of our room! I will be suggesting this hotel to family and friends to stay at, should they need a hotel at LHR. This will be our go-to hotel of choice when we fly out of LHR!

Check-in was straightforward and although they were not able to accommodate my request for a runway view the room was great - bed very comfortable. The Club Millesime lounge was very good - staff went above and beyond to make our experience in there memorable. Highly recommend

We stayed at this hotel twice in a two and a half week UK/EU trip. The direct connection to Heathrow Terminal 5, the peace and quiet in the rooms, the very professional staff, and the food in all the restaurants were above expectations. We look forward to visiting London again and would recommend this hotel to anyone for a short stay in London.

It was our best choice to spend the night before our flight, I enjoyed the cocktails and dinner, the room was perfect!

We were thoroughly impressed with our recent stay at Sofitel London Heathrow. We had arrived from South Africa at 5am and had paid for early check in at 9am. The early check was £90 but worth the cost when you've travelled for over 24 hours including an 11 hour flight with no sleep and not wanting to wait in an airport arrivals for several hours. We did pop over at 7am to see if we could cheekily check in a little earlier but there were no rooms available which we understood however they kindly stored our luggage and let us wait in their tea room until closer to 9am which we appreciated. We had originally booked a classic room with a Queen bed but decided we wanted a King size bed paid so we requested this upgrade to the superior room which would cost £25 if approved. Upon check in, the desk agent could clearly see how tired and desperate we were to get into our hotel room and made the check in process as quick and easy as possible. Not only that but she gave us an upgrade to a luxury room for just an extra £10 on top of the classic room price and the price we paid for the early check in. This was hugely appreciated and the room was amazing. Super clean with lovely amenities throughout and an incredibly comfortable bed that was very welcomed with how sleep deprived we were. The only issue we had with the room was that the shower door didn't quite shut properly but it was super minor and didn't bother us at all. The mini fridge with complimentary drinks was a lovely touch and very welcomed with how dehydrated we were after the flight. The free WIFI was also much welcomed after we had caught up on sleep to catch up with family, friends and social media after two weeks away. Checkout was super easy as well and we were emailed our invoice for our records which is good. The hotel was bright, spacious, airy and very clean (although we did randomly see a mouse darting through the Tea 5 restaurant area which was odd). It was god send that it was only a short walk from the arrivals hall at Heathrow so we didn't have far to go. It was very well decorated and very calming and soothing and definitely what we expected of a five star hotel. We didn't use the spa or gym so can't comment on those but they looked lovely from what we could see. The breakfast that was included with the cost of the room was amazing and probably the best hotel breakfast offering I've ever seen. The waffle and omelette station were really awesome and I enjoyed my omelette as well as my cooked to order poached eggs that were done to my liking. The only real issue we had with the hotel was the food at Vivre restaurant that we dined at in the evening. The food wasn't at all five star and the presentation and quality were seriously lacking for the amount of money we were paying. The food tasted nice enough but it wasn't in line with what we expected for the the price so that definitely needs improvement. The service was a little slow but it was a busy evening so we can't complain too much on that. We more than likely wouldn't eat there again without some serious improvement. Overall with the exception of the food at the restaurant for dinner, we would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if we were flying in or out of Heathrow. Rooms are a little dated (could do with a refurb) but the bed was comfy, it was quiet, the food in the restaurant was nice, the location is tippy top for T5 (literally a 5 min walk) and the staff were very friendly. Would stay here again if travelling from T5.

We stayed overnight before our flight home, & the Sofitel was located in a good spot--near Terminal 5--where we were departing from. Their room service was good & our room was nice.

We had a great and easy stay with the hotel being so close to the airport, yet so quiet! Quick service for food and house keeping but the place was a little tired. Shower doors not shutting properly so leaking on the floor, light switches not working so having to get up to turn the room lights off - it just needed an update. Which wasn't so great when the prices still reflected a ***** hotel. I expected a little more finesse.

We were persuaded to upgrade our two rooms to interconnecting superior rooms and told we would get the minibars for free when we got to the rooms the mini bars were water which I would expect for free anyway, Bells whiskey which shouldn’t be in the fridge anyway orange juice and coke. When we asked at reception for the whiskey to be swapped for wine and was told that wasn’t allowed only gin as we drink neither the value of the upgrade was slowly disappearing. We then discovered there are no phone charging points near the bed so plugged in at the desk to then awake to get on a flight to the USA to discover none of our devices has charged. The TV would not stay on for longer than 5 minutes no matter what we did, and then when we got up we found the rain shower didn’t work as most of the holes were blocked. We felt completely mis-sold this upgrade which cost us £198 across both of the rooms, if you are offered this “as you can have the rooms now” don’t bother there is a nice bar just wait for your booked rooms to be ready.

It doesn’t get any better than this! Beautiful hotel right at the airport - literally walking distance via a connecting hallway. Quiet, comfortable, lovely soaking tub plus separate shower. Robes, slippers, coffee/tea service and QUIET! Love the ability to check in early, especially when you have flown in overnight! This is our new favorite airport hotel. Easy walk to the train station to catch the Heathrow Express or Elizabeth Line for a quick trip into London. Highly recommend!

Bed was too soft for my liking and the pillows were far too soft, should provide alternative pillows in the room. Great location, very convenient. Room and it's amenities were great. But when you barely sleep before a long haul flight you leave feeling a little disappointed.

Luxury this hotel is not. Somewhat tired and with some staff who were quite indifferent. The only reason to stay here is its location at LHR - and even then it’s a 5 to 8 minute walk from T5.

Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ “Disappointing Experience with Sofitel Heathrow’s Loyalty Policy” I’ve been a loyal customer at Sofitel Heathrow for years, staying here every December mainly for the convenience of their long-term parking facility. However, I recently discovered a disappointing aspect of their loyalty program. When booking a member’s rate, you’re not allowed to add long-term parking to your reservation, which is the key reason I book here. This restriction was never communicated during the booking process, which feels misleading. It seems that instead of being rewarded for loyalty, members face unnecessary limitations and penalties. Ironically, if you pay the extra £20 for a non-member rate, you get the flexibility to add long-term parking. For a hotel that prides itself on luxury and customer care, this policy falls short in both transparency and guest convenience. If you rely on long-term parking like I do, you’re better off not using the member rates. I hope Sofitel Heathrow reconsiders this approach to better support their loyal customers.

Tired decor, seriously overpriced accommodation, food and drink. This hotel is not 5 star it is 4 at best. The food is mediocre and seriously overpriced. We spent £500.00 for two of us to stay here and have a meal and a few drinks. It would have been cheaper and nicer to arrive at our destination a day earlier. We won’t stay here again. It was neither a treat or a convenience, just a massive rip, that started our trip away on a bad note.

We stayed at the London Heathrow location the night before our flight home. The reception staff was helpful and friendly, not robotic. Our room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The bed and comforter were like a cloud. We had added the breakfast which was delicious with plenty of options. It couldn't be easier to access Terminal 5 for our flight. Being right at the terminal also reduced the stress of traveling which was an added bonus.

Our late Sunday night layover at Heathrow was enjoyable and luxurious thanks to the staff and amenities at Sofitel. We’ll return, hopefully soon!

I asked in my reservation through American Express for a non-feather room because I am highly allergic and the hotel stated that the request never came through. I alerted the front desk once I went to my room and found feather bedding on the bed. The hotel took over an hour to "find" non- feather bedding and finally after 3 phone calls to the desk for updates, the housekeeping team arrived and changed the bed. I proceeded to go to sleep since i had an early flight departure. I woke in the middle of the night not being able to breathe. After further investigating, I learned the housekeeping staff had changed the bedding but simply put the feather mattress topper back on the bed. I of course got no sleep for the evening and it made for a very difficult day. At almost $600 a night for this hotel this type of service is unacceptable. I will not be staying at a Sofitel again and the hotel should take these types of health risks more seriously!

Update: my sister & I were sleeping when we both noticed that a man from the next door room opened the door that connected to our room at 3am. He gave us a look and closed it. I jumped off the bed and called the front desk. We got dressed as fast as we could and left the room with our suitcase. We went to tell the front desk again. How upsetting! What a fright! We could had been hurt, abducted or robbed. I choose to stay in expensive hotels because I believe in safety and the security it would be offered. Taking $50 off my bill ain’t gonna resolve this. As an American soldier, my safety is imperative! don’t recommend it at all. First time at a Sofitel hotel🤩AKMAL made my stay 💯🤩talk about excellence in customer service. He offered me complimentary breakfast but I have to catch a 4am flight connection and AKMAL said “man, I’ll have breakfast to go ready” wow 👏The hotel has very convenient location with easy access to the terminal. No one can ride the elevator unless you have a room key, safety 💯and my room is spacious, very comfortable bed and a convenient shower. 😍

I was very pleased with my stay at Heathrow Sofitel. The hotel is modern, clean and very nice. Breakfast was fantastic. The only oddity was that not all the lobby stores accepted either room charge or American Express. It caused a bit of a hassle converting funds for such small transactions.

Only stayed for 10 hours due to early flight and late arrival because of M25. Lovely room with super bed which I did not want to leave at 4.30am!

Signage from T5 was absent. Even with a prepaid voucher checkin was slow, tedious and time consuming with insistence on seeing passports and requests for credit cards … which I refused. The room was poor; broken lighting, broken sink, light switch problem, heating not working/cold, no power point by bed, only one coffee pod etc. The list could go on … but life is short.

Very pleased with our stay and would stay here again.

Very convenient hotel for T5. Slow and inattentive service at the restaurant.

I stayed at Sofitel London Heathrow recently due to a flight cancellation. The staff receiving the guests were Indians. The hotel was quite run-down. The plastic room keys didn't work well. The hand-held shower tubes in many room had leakage issues so I could not wash myself properly. When I asked the front desk to give me a discount to my broken room, the Indian receptionist was reluctant and offered me a free breakfast. I told him that I needed to take a nice shower, not a breakfast. I checked in at around 2 a.m., checked out at around 6 a.m. and paid close to GBP400 for a lousy room and poor services. I'll never stay at Sofitel again.

I had 6hrs to stay at the hotel between flights. So it was frustrating that simple things impinged on that time. There was no plug socket or charging point next to the bed. Just one on the other side of the room. So I had to rig two power extension to get my phone next to the bed. This all took time and I was not in the mood for it. The downlighters in the room did not turn all of the way off so there was not darkness for sleep. The shower drain was slow slow that a 5 minute shower flooded the bathroom floor.

Good quality hotel. Easy to get to from long stay Carpark via shuttle bus. Very clean.

Conveniently located attached to Heathrow T5, the Sofitel never disappoints. Efficient reception, clean and large bedrooms and bathrooms and good restaurant. Breakfast before heading for my flight is perfect.

Be careful what you purchases. I had to depart from London early. Property declined to provide a refund or credit. I hope they enjoyed $330 free profit without providing the service. Doesn't that constitute as theft?? They lost this traveler's business for good. I would rather pay 10x the costs at another hotel than stay at Allcor property.

We stayed the night before an early long haul flight. Although it is joined to terminal 5 it is a long walk for people with mobility issues, so do keep this in mind. Our room was very nice and the bed was really comfy. There is various places to eat, and I had the best burger ever there. The staff are lovely, and the hotel is enormous, with a very beautiful zen garden that you are free to walk around. Some of the rooms over look the zen garden, all of which had their curtains closed, so I'm glad I didn't have one of those rooms.
