I don't want to rate this place, it's so good I want to keep it to myself, I've honestly never been anywhere that makes me want to keep coming back.

Absolutely wonderful. Great selection of extremely tasty food. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Great selection of drinks. If you haven't booked, speak with the gentleman on the door for a table.

One of the best Pub in London. Well trained staff and delicious food. And very nice atmosphere. Strongly recommend!

Average (except for the prices). Ordered Coke, got Pepsi - in a Guinness glass with a kids straw (even though it was 18+ pub) Dirty cutlery Food was tepid at best. Plate was hotter than the food. Mushy peas tasted as if they were straight from the fridge.

Nice location, it was busy on our visit but didn't felt crowded, they have more than 1 bar... depending on what you want to do... food portions quite generous and decent price! Had a fillet stake and it was on POINT!

My partner and I were staying near Heathrow airport and were looking for somewhere to eat on NYE. We were surprised to find a pub nearby and available. They warmly welcomed us even though we didn’t have a booking and got us a lovely table with party hats for NYE. The service was excellent and the food was delicious (highly recommend the shepherds pie and lamb shoulder). Thank you for a lovely evening!

We came here last night for the first time. Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked but we were able to eat in the bar area, which was great before it got busy. The staff were attentive & friendly. The atmosphere was nice & relaxed had a cosy feel. Service was quick & the food was lovely, lost of flavour & the portion sizes were huge ! Great value for money will definitely be back soon.

The food was very good and the restaurant flexible to stay open later when I called and which appreciated. However, it is a little sad to see how quiet it is as years and years ago, it used to be a fun late airport bar and with music. I suspect many are put off by the unnecessary and rude security guarding the door - I think it would put many tourists off entering. I am from London and found quite intimidating

Friendly, efficient, traditional hospitality with very large portions of classic pub dishes done well. Worth going slightly out of your way for but parking could be a bit of a challenge!

If you are in the area this is the best place to come for food and drinks. Very reasonably priced and portions are huge!! 10/10

I've been many times before and still the ordering system is unchanged and takes forever. Once you get your order in the service is quick. Friendliness is generally, game face on style, smiling optional. Food this time was below their usual standard unfortunately. Starter was good, except the salad on the plate had no dressing and nothing was offered or on the table. Main course was well overcooked gammon steak and again, salad on the plate undressed. As it's usually very good here I'll put it down to a one off glitch day. Still highly recommend anyone to visit for a good pub meal.

Stopped by while staying at a local hotel. While you might think McDonald's, don't! Go here instead. Nice to see a lot of locals coming in just before Christmas. That speaks loads. If it wasn't good, the locals wouldn't be here. We ordered the Christmas Special and a Burger. All the portions were impressive - just like a traditional English pub should be. Food quality was good. Service was polite and courteous. The place is clean and well maintained. If I had a gripe, it would be: - The over-18 policy - we had been here years back with young kids and it had a nice family atmosphere. - The beers were ok, but some good quality ale would be an improvement. Fuller's maybe? Local beer for local people? But all in all, this is a super place to eat. If you are passing through, come here instead of eating in the hotel or McD's. Bring your appetite. You won't regret it.

I loved everything about this place. The food quantity was good for price and tasty too.

Mmmm previous visits have been very good. This visit however was not so good. We felt rushed and staff seemed almost annoyed that we didn't purchase any alcohol based drinks. The pudding was dry and over baked. Disappointing and probably won't go again as there are so many other places to choose from. ☹️

Always a nice atmosphere, we were asked if we wanted to sit rowdy or peaceful we chose peaceful which didn’t last long as the table next to us was a Christmas party, never mind its Christmas but the steak was bland no seasoning or very little. In fact the whole dish was bland.

We was staying at a local hotel, and found this hidden gem, I can't recommend the place enough, we turned up late on Friday, the place was really busy, we was shown to the bar and ask to wait 5 minutes whilst they sorted a table, 10 minutes later we was sat down, the menu was amazing, so many choices, anyway food was amazing, the potions were massive, the chips was like old school homemade chips, the ribs just fell to bits and melted in your mouth, the burgers were juicy with lots of flavour. Definitely need to check the place out, great value for money. Thanks to the staff for an amazing night.

Really good experience with good food.

I had an overnight layover, that was too short to really do anything but eat and sleep. This place was close and seemed to have good food so I went. It was packed and definitely seemed like a local hangout. I got the steak and ale pie, which was sooo much food! Everything was delicious! The service was great and everyone was nice. I would definitely go out of my way to go back there again!

Unbelievable restaurant 10 minutes walk from Heathrow. Best steak and ale pie I have ever had. Service was sublime and it is beautifully decorated. Will return if back in the area👍🏻

Randomly stumbled upon this place when visiting London in 2018 and I loved it. Today (2024) I was spending one night in London on a layover and I wanted to head back here. It is as great as I remember. Nice and cozy with a great selection of food and beers. Too bad I live about 5000 miles away or I'd be here more often.

Place is very cold,being end of November.Had a jacket potato which was not fluffed,portion was big but the chilli wasn’t flavourful.Absolutely disappointed.Salads come without any dressing.

Love this place! Chicken and mushroom pie is to die for and sticky toffee pudding is classic! Would recommend to anyone staying near Heathrow. Recommend making reservations if you can as it is always crowded, and for good reason.

Absolutely bizarre. Never been to a pub you couldn't order at the bar or had table service. Huge slow moving line up to a hatch, not sure how they got the menus - I wasn't offered one. Whole atmosphere was strange with the manager/owner swaggering around, was quite intimidating and accosted me for being on my own. Food looked and smelled fantastic , with huge portions - would just not want to wait long enough to get it!

Really good food, fantastic service I had the mixed grill and it was probably one of the nicest mix grills I’ve had ever with, the meat cooked well, great flavours good atmosphere in the marquee outside with heaters making it a good night.

Very busy when local eateries empty. Very friendly and helpful staff.

SO happy to discover this place. Met up with friends as we all happened to be flying out the next morning. Food is old school-in the best way-drank lots of red wine and then there was disco music. We laughed and stayed about 3 hours or so. Can't wait to come back. Maybe just sit outside at the pub next time but it will always be on my itinerary if I am overnighting at Heathrow. Such fun!!

The restaurant is unique as it is shaped like a peasant. The steak and ale pie was very good. Service was great.

We went there for a business dinner. Nice place, excellent service. The filet steak I ordered rare, came more like medium to well. A colleague had it ordered medium, it came very well. Expensive. Parking was good though.

Now where do I start. Huge portion of ribs that just fell off the bones. Got my dinner in the bar so not best comfy however not a complaint.

Lovely pub and separate restaurant. It's Heathrow's de facto staff bar so always packed every night. Food portions are famously huge and always lovely. Can't recommend the rib-eye steak enough. Parking is pretty tight and some right Wally blocked me in. 10 mins scouting around with the landlord helped me find the driver of the car next to mine to get out. If you can, don't drive. Reasonably priced. Excellent food. There's a reason Heathrow pack this place out every night.

Was blown away. Taken there by my Boss for lunch and I didn't want to leave. Food and Service was A-MAZ-ING! We got there before official lunch opening time and they still accommodated us like we were royalty. By the time we left mid lunchtime there wasn't a spare seat in the place - a definite sign of popularity and quality. You will not be disappointed. Planning a big Family visit there soon.

Came here for a work meal a few weeks back great place food is amazing the menu has plenty of options I had the steak with curly fries the steak was cooked to perfection I would definitely recommend this place for work venues or family gatherings

Amazing food and service! I had the lamb shoulder and ribeye steak, both fantastic! We had calamari and prawn avocado as a starter, Portions were big for everything we ordered. Great place to eat and close walking distance to the airport hotels. Staff is very friendly and we had no issues getting seated as we booked a table tow days before,even though there were a good amount of people eating. We liked it so much.

Only downside is having to order at the bar for drinks, then order separately at the kiosk for your dinner. Everything else is 5/5, wouldn’t eat anywhere else if this side of Heathrow! Very fairly priced also

Amazing pub, one of the nicest I've been in, food was amazing and very generous portions. Sadly service was slow, not particularly friendly and believe service charge was automatically added plus service charged asked for on car machine. Still I'd return again

Generous portions, lovely atmosphere. Have always been greeted pleasantly by staff when I visit with my partner. It’s a shame the venue does not allow under 18’s to eat only. Other than that cannot fault this place. Would recommend the steak and ale pie or the lamb shoulder

Food was decent here. Good service and friendly waiters and waitresses. However, the AC definitely needs some work. It was unbearably hot inside the restaurant.

Regular here with 2 friends on Friday evenings. Always great food and service. Atmosphere is always noisy and buzzing. Only gripe is it is sometimes difficult to park. On this visit one of my friends had to wait 10 mins for a parking space.

Lovely and friendly service. My lasagne and creme brulee were delicious. The portions were very plentiful. Easy to get to from the hotels on Bath. There is a full service sit down restaurant or the pub has almost the exact menu with counter service. That's what I did. Easy to order and the food came out quickly. Would definitely eat there again!

I was looking for a nice place to have quality food, The Pheasant is a hidden treasure!! It's has two areas, the one in the back takes reservations and the service and food was well worth the visit! The place was very busy, and I can see why!

The staff here are really friendly, and the restaurant looks stunning! It's a really quirky place, with lots of angles. Bring an empty belly when coming here as the portions are proportional and the food tastes amazing! You can tell love has gone in to every meal. 10/10 will be visiting again

The food it’s pub style, nothing fancy but delicious. The best it’s the vibe of the pub and especially the welcoming of the tall blond guy and the other guys from the entrance. Very friendly and kind, well done. 👍🏼

Third time I have been to the Pheasant and this is the third time I have had a fantastic time. Food was excellent, atmosphere was great and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Can't recommend this place enough.

Good food, good service. At first glance, menu seems expensive, but portion size and quality of ingredients / food, squashes this theory. The servers are respectful but friendly. The atmosphere is amazing. Out of seven diners, all seven, said 10 out of 10. Will definitely revisit the pheasant inn, in the future.

Enjoyed great food and good local beer. Nice hot leek soup and freshly baked crusted cod with spinach and roasted potatoes.

The fish and chips were excellent! Staff were very nice and helpful. Also had the cheesecake for dessert and it was great! Highly recommend this place. All the other food looked amazing.

Our first time at The Pheasant Inn and it did not disappoint. We regret having starters because we could finish our main but the menu was really good, the portion size was amazing. Loved the atmosphere and how the restaurant presented it self and the staff were amazing, full smiles and great service. We will definitely be visiting again. Thank you

I can't recommend enought this restaurant, excellent attention since I arrived giving me an upgrade as soon as they have a seat inside when it was full . Hostess and waitresses very friendly and professionals. Good portions not just only great in size but also in taste and flavor. Great experience overall. Keep going like this guys!
