The burger patty was the cheapest possible meat and tasted awful. I had one bite and left the rest, what a waste. Wish I had gone to McDonalds, the quality there is 1000x better. It's a shame because it's a very nice looking and modern space.

Lovely place right in the heart of London. Ww came here for the bottomless brunch offer and were not disappointed. All of the staff are lovely but Darius who was our waiter was in a league of his own, so attentive and funny. The food is good with a decent range of things. It's a little 'young' for what we would usually choose (burgers and chips etc) but is done very well. The place itself is very large with a stage and lots of music memorabilia. It reminded me of a hard rock hotel. All told pretty ace and we will return.

We were gifted our experience as a christmas present and from the moment we sat down, we loved Sound café. Our waiter was amazing and kept our drinks topped up for our bottomless brunch. He was funny & engaging and helped make our experience fabulous! To top it all off, the little robot waiters were an unexpected but truly wonderful surprise! The decor was interesting and vibrant and added another layer to our experience. We also got to do a little bit of celebrity spotting, which was very exciting ☺️ Would definitely return and recommend it to everyone to visit!!

A great restaurant! The name suits everything about the decor of the place, it feels like you are in a concert, the atmosphere is incredible. The food was really good and affordable, we tried the burgers, fries and corn ribs and enjoyed every part of it. If you manage to get an evening booking then go for it because there are live shows on most evenings. If you’re a sports fan then you will enjoy watching games in their bar section. Overall Sound is a great restaurant for a good meal with friends and family.

My girlfriend and myself went for a bottomless brunch experience. We were welcomed my very friendly staff and was shown to our table and they explained how it all worked ! The beer and the cocktails started flowing , the food came out quite quick and was really tasty and fresh , there was a nice atmosphere about the place too ! Would deff come here again

steak and fish and chips were good, don't go anywhere near the chicken tenders , the fajita chicken and the double decker burger meat were also over cooked and dry. used the first table offer but can't help but think that 9 pounds original price for 3 small chicken tender is a bit much.

We had brilliant service here. Table 49 at 630pm on Saturday 26th October (I forgot to ask our waitress’ name). Our waitress was excellent and we received efficient and friendly service. Each member of staff we spoke to was lovely too. The environment was quite loud. Not sure if it always like that or it was because it was Saturday evening? Food is lovely too. Thank you!

All in all a fun experience even if slightly unexpected: we hoped to find a more intimate atmosphere instead we were thrown into the middle of a Las Vegas Hotel lobby environment, loud and a bit tacky. The waiter who helped us, Ahmed, went over and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as it could possibly be! Professional and amicable. The food wasn’t bad, even though not much variety on offer: again it felt like being in a US diner rather than the prestigious Cumberland hotel. One last thing: for as much as we enjoyed the presence of a Japanese robot serving tables, it felt completely out of place and jarring with the rest.

Nice atmosphere. Sundays live music. Bottomless prosecco is amazing.

Cozy place with cool music and excellent cuisine

Came here for bottomless brunch, had been before when it was Hard Rock Cafe and compared to then was disappointing, lacked the previous atmosphere. Our server was great, they also have AI trolleys delivering food which was quirky ( it brings food to table but needs a human to serve) good value if using Travel Zoo deal but otherwise expensive

Ahmed was very fast with taking orders and when we needed anything he would be there straight away. I love the atmosphere too the music choices tonight was brilliant.

We had a very smooth and comfortable dining because of Ahmed. All our requests were met and everything came out just like how we wanted. The service was quick. The foods we had were incredibly delicious and fulfilling.

This was our third visit to Sound Cafe for the bottomless brunch. Firstly, a couple of niggles: when we arrived (early) we took a seat in the foyer and discovered that someone had left their mobile phone on the settee. We immediately handed this to a member of staff, who took it without so much as a "Thank you" - we thought this particularly offhand and rude. Secondly, when we went to check in for our meal, we received no friendly greeting and the receptionist was extremely cold. On a positive note, the food was, as previously, very good and the service by Aslam was outstanding. What a friendly, personable and efficient guy he is! HOWEVER, where has the entertainment gone? Music playing at a very low volume (so low, that we struggled to hear it) and random videos playing on the screens. No atmosphere whatsoever. Please, please bring back the drag brunches (or similar entertainment) - they were a hoot! On this most recent visit, the lack of entertainment and atmosphere did not leave us feeling that we would want to return any time soon.

Service is excellent. Staff, Aslam is fantastic and super attentive.

Sound Cafe seems like a promising spot, especially during peak times when the atmosphere is likely at its best. I don't want to be unfair and give it a low rating, as my experience may not reflect their usual quality. I ordered the "Combo Platter," and while it was decent, it didn't particularly stand out. The food was fine, but nothing exceptional. I'm considering giving Sound Cafe another chance in the future to see if a different visit might offer a better experience.

Booked here as had a voucher as part of a package. Arrived earlier than booked but the host was wonderful and got us sat at a table reasonably quickly. Our main waiter was Victor who together with others made sure that we enjoyed our evening. Took advantage of the BOGOF offer on cocktails and had a lovely evening. The steak was probably one of the best steaks I've had. My wife fell in love with the robot waiter ❤️. Was dreading the final bill but was pleasantly surprised with the total even after the voucher discount. It is a once in a while experience and would definitely go back.

Myself & my daughter visited yesterday evening,I had a gift voucher and was apprehensive about a set menu but i was pleasantly surprised! There was so much to choose from and every option sounded tasty! I had the Sound burger,which was cooked to perfection,served with fries and a chipotle sauce,it was one of the best burgers I have ever had!! We both had cocktails and they too were fabulous! I had apple cobbler for dessert and my daughter had a brownie,both to die for!!!!! The place itself was immaculate with a lovely ambiance and the staff were extremely welcoming. I can’t wait to return!

We did the 'back to the future' afternoon tea. Apart from dry ice and a couple of back to the future stickers, nothing really to write about on the food when compared to other themed teas. Plied with loads of drink and staff were attentive and nice.

We had a lovely bottomless brunch and it was absolutely worth the cost. We got a bit longer than the 90 mins allowed. They've changed the menu and we had a main and a desert - lots of choice and really tasty food. The service was fantastic and the prosecco glasses didn't get empty at any point until the very end! Although I didn't drink alcohol I had cocktails and lots of soft drinks so was worth it even for me.

We had a gift experience to use which included a main, dessert and a cocktail. When we entered the place there was a strong sewage smell, which put me off straight away. However, the place looked very nice. We was upset to find out there was no draught at all for beer or coke so it was either wine or cocktails. The free cocktail we had which was included in our experience was rubbish. The food was average not worth normal cost. The highlight was that they have a robot who brought the food over. Overall not worth it, especially not having any draught so cost us more money then we needed to which wasn't great when we are saving.

My family had a blast at the cocktail masterclass. We had alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks. Victor showed us how to mix our favorite drinks. We even got to go behind the bar! It was lots of fun and made for a memorable experience during our trip to London. Highly recommend!

Went with a friend for a yearly catchup. After getting something to eat, we sat at the bar for a while and ordered some drinks. We were met with lovely staff, who were extremely accommodating and friendly. One in particular was an individual named Daniel who made an incredible Zombie cocktail and made us feel extremely welcome. I would say the drink alone would make me come again, but the food service, front of house and bar service by the staff was absolutely incredible. 5/5

The waiter Rafael is the fresh breeze on a hot summer day, the hot tea after a rainy day; In short - we had a bottomless brunch and he perfectly timed the champagne refill and spread a wonderful mood - a delight, an angel with a bald head and a bandana

Poor tasting / dry classic burger. Patty was not juicy at all. Overpriced. Fish and chips had a lot of chips and a lot of batter but hardly and fish. Tartar sauce is not tartar sauce. It's normal mayo. The 2 star is only because the chips were good

Myself and my friend attended on 7/8/2024, looked after from the second we got in by Raphael, what a wonderful man, so attentive, made us feel special, bottomless brunch an understatement, he was there continuously attending to our drinks and making sure we were well looked after, it was a birthday gift for my friend and he added a birthday dessert treat for her, will definitely be back again, 5 star ⭐️ service, thank you Raphael ⭐️

Food was about average. Ordered the Tomahawk steak but was quite dry and overcooked. Chicken platter had good variety though. No issues with service other than a wrong drink. Booked for Bottomless Brunch on a Saturday. Rosemary was so attentive and skilled at her job. Our glass was never empty. Food was quick and very tasty! We managed to get a deal for our brunch, but honestly if you ended up paying full price it would be worth it! We debated over booking this venue but we were not disappointed! Great atmosphere and buzz around the place. A perfect London experience! Thanks for making our experience so enjoyable!

Our waiter Dario was excellent but some parts of the Afternoon Tea was way too sweet for our pallet.

We had a fantastic birthday brunch. Dario our waiter was so lovely and friendly, he kept our drinks topped up. We was served our food by a robot, the food was delicious. We brought the brunch deal on Groupon, would definitely recommend.

Mediocre food. Extremely rude staff. A 13.5% service charge for absolutely awful service. Had to re-ask for parts of our meal that never arrived. Shambolic. We will never be back.

I went there with my friend, she used to strictly gluten free, in the menu it wasn’t choices to choose except nachos and salad. When her food arrived it was a bacon in the nachos. Not professional and respectful for allergy and religious reasons.

Bottomless Brunch This five star rating is so well deserved. Two members of our party were celebrating birthdays so we mentioned this to Jada our waitress. We benefitted from such attentive service with a generous flow of proseccos and moreover the birthday two also had a special sundae each with a Happy Birthday singalong from the waiting staff. What a fantastic day we had thanks to all of the staff we met but especially Jada.

Came for dinner as we had just checked in to the same hotel. Took ages to find a member of staff to know where to sit or if we were meant to wait somewhere. Eventually what looked like a security guard helped us. Sat at a table very close to the stage and it was VERY loud with the live band but to be expected due to type of venue but if you want a quiet meal, don't go. Food came quickly,but we weren't told if we were meant to take the food off the robot or wait, couple next to us had same issue, burgers were really greasy. I actually took mine out and only ate the bun and salad as it wasn't pleasant, the fat was literally dripping out. Fries and sauce were good. Staff didn't seem to be very organised, basically a free for all with table service. Gave the server the voucher we were given on check in but on looking at receipt later this didn't look like the discount was taken off. Took ages to even get someone to get our bill so didn't notice at the time. Staff just didnt seem interested in customers at all and for the only in all our visits to london, we left no tip. Handy if you want something quick at the hotel but so many better places in the area and we definitely wont return. Unfortunate as the hotel is great.

We regularly dine at the Sound. We love the food especially when we are able to benefit from the 50% off from the Fork app. There is plenty of options from the menu including their lunch menu at reasonable prices. We always have a pleasant experience as the staff are friendly and approachable.

We had a good time, the atmosphere was nice and bright. We came for the live music on Saturday evening, but there was none, until 10pm, when a DJ came, and we left. Our human server was rude and obnoxious. But the robot was great! :)

We booked the Back to the Future themed afternoon tea and while we were seated promptly at a lovely table, it took 3 different servers nearly 40 minutes to bring drinks. The food was fine, but no must try or items we would return for. The live music was terrific, but honestly there are so many excellent restaurants and bars in London it's probably not worth visiting this one.

We are regularla of this place. It used to be a Hard Rock Cafe and the menu has been kept more or less the same. However, the food is really overpriced and not as nice as before. If you manage to book with the fork with 50% then it might be worth it - definitely do not pay the full price ever. The service is insanely slow so get ready to have a 2 hour long meal. Do not go if you are in a rush.

Tasty food especially the onion ring tower. The kids’ meals came out quickly but the adults’ meals took a long time to come out. The robokitty is amazing!!!

Booked a table easily through First Table. The live music and atmosphere at Sound Cafe were fantastic! Our waiter, Aslam, provided excellent service. Plus, the food was delicious - definitely recommend it for anyone looking for halal options in London.

We had the bottomless brunch. Paid £10 extra for the steak and I must say I've never had better. The steaks we're cooked to perfection (mine medium and my wife's well done). Tasty charred beautifully on the outside. Chips are skin on, crispy and well seasoned. Little jug of gravy was lovely. For dessert I had the brownie which was delicious, rich but not overly sweet. My wife had the cheesecake and was very happy with it. From entering until leaving, we we're very well looked after by Melissa who kept our wine glasses topped up without ever being asked. All in all a wonderful dining experience that we shall definitely be repeating.

I placed a booking well ahead of time and turned up with time to spare but it took over 15 minutes to even be seen at the welcome desk and we ended up leaving. There were more security guards than service staff. Terrible experience and won’t be returning.

Really really poor food. Steak was cooked horrendously with some of it medium and some rare. Didn't have any flavour at all either. Genuinely quite shocking! The other dish was a school dinner/hospital style beef with mash. I'd be disappointed being served this in a hospital ward really. The cbicken dippers were... Fine. The sauce had a layer over it so it was probably left out a while. The slaw was incredibly dry and old so definitely left our a while. The onion rings were fine. Only reason it's not 1 star is the service was really good.

This was our fourth visit to the wonderful Sounds Cafe. Eight of us had a blast during our bottomless brunch, yesterday afternoon. Food was good, service by the fantastic CAMILA was outstanding. We went yesterday as we had a voucher for the bottomless brunch. It was much better when it was under the hard Rock Cafe. When we got to restaurant, a really rude lady with blonde hair was at the desk. No hello or pleasantries. She just said well have you got the voucher then. No atmosphere, very slow service and luke warm food.

We had a voucher for unlimited brunch but it was very disappointing! There was only one waiter for several tables so we waited for our glasses to be re-filled, a couple of times I had to ask him to do it! We have been here several times for the offer but today was the worst experience. We waited over 30 mins for our mains which was just warm and the pasta was undercooked....the robot came to our tablet with the main but no waiter so we helped ourselves....not what we expected to have to do! There was no atmosphere at all and it was the quietest we have known it... perhaps people have had similar experiences and are not returning, it's a shame as it was better when it was Hard rock cafe!

Went here to celebrate a big birthday 🎂. We had the bottomless lunch. Refills were reasonable but maybe could have been improved. Food was well presented, tasted good, portions were ok for lunchtime!

I went last week Sunday to celebrate a friend's birthday. Our server Rafael was absolutely amazing!!! He was patient and attentive making sure we were looked after. The food was banging and I would love to go again.

Really fun place to eat, Went on a wowcher deal , so had a bottomless brunch. I had moretti beer for which there was £1.50 surcharge . The music was good, fun robot bringing food to table which was served by a great waiter who loved Jimi Hendrix as do I. Great experience , highly recommend

Food are quite overpriced as the platter doesnt worth £60, I would say it is acceptable price even for half price. The cocktail cannot taste any alcohol, it tastes more like mocktail. If it is not buy 1 get 1 free, it is highly not recommended.

The experience of this venue was amazing, I truly enjoyed myself. The food was great, the service absolutely excellent. Rafael was absolutely brilliant, he made sure our needs were met. Amazing service couldn't fault it. I was taken back by the Robot would you believe it it was best experience I have had in a long while. Enjoyed our bottomless brunch here at the Sound cafe inside the Cumberland hotel. Food was very good, as was the excellent service by our waiter, who kept our drinks fully topped up. Great setting in what used to be the Hard Rock cafe.

Lovely atmosphere in a very aesthetic restaurant, great location near Marble Arch! Fantastic value for money as we booked through FirstTable and received 50% off the food bill. Serving staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Dario. Fun quirky serving robot too! Would’ve been better if the live music started earlier.

As a party of five, we had a fabulous sparkling afternoon tea at Sound Cafe yesterday. The venue and food were amazing, but the icing on the cake for us had to be Dario, our attentive, friendly and funny waiter! Nothing was too much trouble for him and our drinks were replenished frequently, without as ever having to ask for top-ups! I think they I can honestly say that the service we received went above and beyond, and is probably the best service that I have experienced in any restaurant! Can’t wait to come back again! Very Bad service and too slow to serve. I even had no one coming to my table to take orders. All employees are chitchatting around the corner. The tables are half full and no one is there to serve. I had to go the till myself to order myself a drink! For a 5 stars hotel cafe that’s totally inappropriate

We attended due a voucher given to me for my Birthday for bottomless brunch. Upon arrival the voucher was abruptly demanded despite it being attached to the booking as requested by the booking team previously. When we were sat down it was explained that it was a starter, main and desert, but the menu clearly said main and desert. The server was completely new and had little to no support from other colleagues. We asked to upgrade to bottomless cocktail, and this took half hour to be implemented before we got our first cocktail. Food was nice but didn’t justify the price tag. The cocktails were lovely but we regularly had to chase our waiter to get another drink, and only managed to order 4 in the 90min. Our waiter appeared to regularly ignore us, although I suspect he was struggling to cover the vast number of tables on his own being new. It took an hour to get our desert after the main, which was very small in size, the wrong desert menu was brought initially and I had to go and swap it myself. Robot would regularly pull up at our table with the food some time before waiter so we could have served our self There seemed to be a bit of confusion and they thought it was my birthday and a robot brought some ice cream, we didn’t eat it as ice cream and cocktails does not mix well. It took us a further 40mins to get the bill and found that a ridiculous 14% service charge had been added, the waiter just stuck the card reader down and expected us to pay it. Awful service and not worth the hype.

I had the most beautiful brunch experience at Sound Cafe restaurant today with my friends. The ambience was absolutely amazing - as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by beautiful pictures on the wall and soothing music that filled the air. The place felt very welcoming and cozy. The host had a friendly smile and promptly walked us to our table where everyone welcomed us nicely. The food was simply delicious. I ordered the Parma chicken and it was beyond delicious. The portion size was generous and the homemade flatbread was soft and tasty. The chicken breast was cooked to perfection with a crispy exterior and a juicy, tender interior. But what really stood out was the exceptional service provided by our waiter Quino. He had a great sense of humor, was attentive to our needs, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. There was a moment when he anticipated our need for extra spoons and brought them without us even having to ask - now that's what I call excellent service! The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was sophisticated yet welcoming, with beautiful pictures on the wall and a charming robot going up and down. I felt so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire meal. I will definitely be coming back again to Sound Cafe . Thank you for a memorable brunch experience!

Been a few times for bottomless brunch , really enjoyed on previous occasions however today feel it’s not been up to scratch. Had to ask twice for some water and the waiter only came around a couple of times to fill the Prosecco whereas on previous occasions they have constantly walked around with a bottle filling . Food is lovely though , hoping they are just having a bad day

Aslam was a fantastic person waiting our table, he constantly filling our glasses when they were close to finished. He had a happy presence about him.

Poor service but a range of sports on the several screens. No sound so as to not clash with the live music - or indeed the other screens.
