Square Pie - Westfield White City in Ealing

Un poco caro y no esperar un poco más para llenar la barriga por el efectivo tenía que parte con. Podría haber sido un poco más generosos con la salsa - un poco va un largo camino:) Todo estaba caliente (y sabroso), así que no puedo quejarme de eso. Quizás era tan bueno que me quedé decepcionado con la cantidad!

Comí un sabroso pastel de queso y cebolla con brócoli y salsa. Estoy de acuerdo con algunos de los otros comentarios de que las porciones podrían ser un poco más generosas por el precio, y consideré pedir más salsa y brócoli, pero no lo hice. Como era la comida fue satisfactoria y el pastel estaba caliente por dentro! Aprecié el hecho de que mi coca cola se sirviera en una botella de vidrio y no en plástico, pero me decepcionó la paja de plástico que había en ella.

Yo tenía una papa al horno, que era de un tamaño bastante bueno y queso rallado cheddar encima - era poner sólo una cantidad muy pequeña de mantequilla en la parte superior de la patata antes el queso y no había buen gusto cuando estaba comiendo. El queso no tiene mucho sabor y cobrar 5 libras. 50 Por esto yo creo que era un poco alto. Mi marido tenía el pastel de carne con cerveza con puré de guisantes dulces y blandos. Que se perdieron en la placa ya que era tan pequeño y el pastel es muy pequeño. A £7. 90 por algo como esto es nuevo, demasiado. El pastel y puré probado encantador, pero necesitábamos más. No nos llenó con nuestra cena y en vez de poder salir y volver a casa tuvimos que ir y encontrar otro lugar que venden comida, así que teníamos algo para comer en nuestro largo viaje a casa. No regresaría de nuevo.

Bueno pero tranquilo chaqueta, patatas con queso añadido caro y puré de batatas. Patatas chaqueta estaban empezando a conseguir. Pero está bien de precio y contundente.

Normally a trip to Westfield means a diversion from our normal eating habits. Jacket potatoes at Square Pie made a nice change. I cannot remember the last time I ate a jacket pot with beans and cheese but they looked so good behind the counter we could not resist. And they did not disappoint. The potatoes were great; they actually tasted of potatoe not some non-descript starch like baked pots sometimes do. The fillings were ample and lunch turned out to be quite a substantial meal. Of course one has to get over the wincing at the price charged for a humble root vegetable with a bit of cheese and beans, but actually the portion is so substantial and tasty it is value.

Try the jacket potatoe with tuna and sweet corn . It's quite nice but the portion for the side salad is a bit little.

Dont go here if your hungry very small portions for the money had grilled chicken not good value my hubby had to buy another meal somewhere else as it was so small ! chicken tasted reheated and mash very watery only saving was ordering chips but had to wait for 10 mins for them to be cooked and she asked twice like they really didnt want to be bothered to cook them she wanted to know if i wanted the chicken & veg while i was waiting for the chips ! AHHH NO. cold chicken not really.

Had steak & ale pie. Functional but not a great pastry - seemed moist all over. Would not rush back....

My sister and I were really excited to find a place that did halal pies; a little disappointing that the halal option is limited to chicken only. We had the chicken and mushroom pie which came with with two sides and gravy. Overall the pie was nice, the filling could have done with more flavour and seasoning as could the mash. The gravy was really nice and brought the whole meal together...shame there wasn't more of it. It was good value for money and I would possibly go back a second time as the choice of halal pie places is quite limited. Not a bad experience considering it's in a very busy shopping centre.

Visited the Westfield branch of Square Pie and was very pleased to see a wide variety of sides available with the different pies all neatly arranged.I had the steak and kidney Pie with mash potatoes and mushy peas which were all very tasty and was able to have a gluten free Pie with mushrooms and asparagus fillings.This came with a soft drink. Service very pleasant and the counter area appeared very clean.

One of the best pies I've ever had. Even better than the pies you would get in a good pub. Fresh out of the oven and very very tasty. Wide selection of fillings and sides A meal with a drink would cost you just under £10 so not bad considering how delicious the pies are Very recommended

Visited whilst shopping in Westfield and was not disappointed! Had a gluten free pie and was the best gluten free pastry I have tasted!! I was really impressed with the range of different pies and sides - I had mine with mashed potato and mushy peas, and the portion sizes were great. Super friendly staff as well which meant a really good overall experience, will definitely be stopping by on my next shopping trip - thanks Square Pie!!

Typical comfort food served within huge shopping complex at higher than average prices. Average quality and taste, certainly not gourmet pies. Good for one time visit only.

Westfield shopping centre can be a bit nerve-wracking at times and there isn't much time to spend sitting down for a meal. The solution? Head for the food village on the first floor and you'll find a selection of multi-cultural outlets. One of the best is Square Pie, which offers a selection of very tasty pies accompanied by various sides such as mash, peas, sweat potato or salads. The quality and taste of the pies is above average and the service is efficient and friendly. Really excellent value.

Visited square pie last week me and my friend were looking for some comfort food in Westfield The Chicken and mushroom pie was halal really enjoyed my meal, I think the sides were a bit big I would have preferred it if the pies were bigger and the side portions were smaller The gravy was good but would be great if they had some table sauce too I would defo go back #bubblegumhijab

Such a complete let down. I had a craving for cottage pie and it was a tasteless mush which could remind me of school dinners back In the 70s.The jacket potatoes looked good but I guess you can't really go wrong with boiling a spud, yet pricey at that.Service was OK just that.

It was fine I had the chicken and bacon pie and sweet potato mash and coleslaw I didn't think it was worth the money as the pie was filled with carrots and peas instead of chicken and bacon but it filled a hole the coleslaw was beautiful could have done with a bit more sweet potato mash

i had steak and kidney pie with wedges and peas with gravy, all these items were sub standard. peas overcooked and probably processed, pie tasted like something from a works canteen, and tiny portion of wedges were burnt and dry. would not go again.

Visited the foodhall with friends while on a shopping trip. Thought we would opt for the pie. Had the chicken and mushroom pie which was lovely. Unfortunately that was the only nice part! The "creamy mash" for instance, the potatoes hadnt been peeled or cooked before mashing took place! Absolute joke especially after paying the prices they charge.

Whilst shopping in Westfield we stopped in the food court for a bite to eat, amongst all options on offer my son spotted the Square Pie so that was that.We chose the Chicken & Bacon Pie & Steak & Guinness Pie, both pies were fresh and quite hot, generous fillings & the flavor was good, we both opted for the creamy mash potato's, beans & gravy as our sides. We would both happily eat at the Square Pie again.

The square pie! My friend and I visited here as we couldn't decide what we fancied eating. My friend spotted the square pie so that was that! My friend had a pie and I had a jacket spud with cheese. Portion sizes are huge, very impressed although for the prices they should be huge! Service was quick, although we went at 11:45am so before the lunch time rush. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We would happily eat at the square pie again

My daughter had the spinach, goat cheese, and sweet potato pie, and I had the chicken and mushroom pie. Both pies were fresh and quite hot. The flavor was good, the location was convenient, and the price was reasonable just over 10 pounds for both.

Went shopping with my mum and the kids to Westfield Shopping centre. Stopped in the food court for some lunch. For a change I decided on Square Pie. I had a Steak and Kidney pie with a side order of sweet potatoe mash. Lovely pie. Generous with the filling and the right amount of thick gravy inside. Very nice pastry, and I'm pretty critical of other peoples pastry! The sweet potato mash was lovely. Seasoned well and a great texture. Next trip.... I think I'll try the BBQ Bourbon beef.

Ate here today with my husband, both had pie meals, We both had lumpy mash, hubby had beans and I had a watery scoop of peas. Sadly we both opted for the gravy which over powered the flavour of the pie. Food not warm enough and charged for unknown hidden extras but only realised this after we left Westfields!

Dropped in here at lunch time and had the steak and kidney. It was lovely and hot too, however the mash, mushy peas and gravy were all cold. No where near the required 63 degrees C and I mean nowhere near. Anyone from the FSA reading this, please drop by with your temperature probe and show them how to operate their hotplate. Shame really as the pie was very nice.

Went at 10pm last night. Lady helped just as closing with a lovely steak and Guinness pie for my way home. Friendly staff and the pie was delicious.

Coming from the warmth of Australia to the lovely cool temps of the UK i was really craving a pie. The only place i could find one was at this place. I ordered the Shepherds pie and 2sides (mash potato & mash sweet potato) 50p extra for the sweet potato (it is on their menu but was hidden because ppl were standing in front of it. My english friend had the chicken balti and same 2 scoops of veg and we had gravy and 1diet coke can. The food wasnt hot at all and although the mash vegies were nice i cannot believe a pie and 2 vegies cost the equivalent of $16 au. We were at Westfield a Shopping Centre. There was no pastry on the shepherds pie,just the potato on top. Basically about 4tablespoons of basic,tasteless, drab looking mince smothered in what must be very expensive potatos because basically my $16 was just potato and not even at the correct serving temp. The Staff were friendly enough but it was just a decent pie i wanted. Epic fail.

I went to London to take my daughter for an interview and decided to visit Westfields shopping centre. Thinking I will a quick lunch I thought jacket potato would be nice. Went to the square pie company on first floor see that they had them nice menu and ordered a can of drink and a coronation chicken jacket. expecting a meal I got a small cold potato not hot enough to melt the butter three pieces of chicken in a dry coronation coating no side salad for over £6. for the same price in other establishments I could of had a full plate of food and hot drink. Not the best service and value poor look elsewhere.

Nel nostro lungo girovagare in Londra abbiamo benedetto Westfield e non si poteva non provare le pie più caratteristiche. Ho assaggiato la classica Steak & Guinness ed era ottima! Consigliato !In our long wanderings in London Westfield blessed and we could not not try the pie more features. I tasted the classic Steak & Guinness and it was great! Recommended!

Amongst all the options at White City this one caught our eye for being simple. When it's cold out you are looking for comfort food and pies and jacket potatoes are just the thing.There is a wide range of fillings offered and several sides to choose from.Prices are reasonable but watch out for the unannounced charges that you get when you accept their offer of cheese on top for example - It's not free but an extra 80p....Food was good and tasty so we would come again
