This is the best meal we've had out in a while. The food was absolutely amazing. We tried the selection of curry (that the chef chooses) and each one was amazing. The food is such good value that we tried different items from the menu and totally overindulged! Brilliant service and excellent value for money. It was quite quiet in there for a Saturday night which I found unbelievable. The people of Stone don't know what they're missing!

Ordered a Cajun burger meal and wings on the side, when it came the wings were tough and no sauce but the worst part was the Cajun chicken burger. It wasn’t even cooked all the way through, it was still raw!! Korma chips were good but that doesn’t make up for the bad quality burger

Out with another couple we fancied an Indian before heading into town for drinks. Our friends had seen Streat but never tried. We didn't know what to expect and on seeing the menu we were still slightly puzzled. We were guided by the waiter but as you can see from attached bill went freestyle with our choices. The highlight for me was the Thali...you can see a pic....3 curry dishes, rice, onion bhaji and bread for under £17...Great value, great taste. The women shared a series of "starters" which they couldn't finish and my friend had the odd choice of piri piri chicken which he thought was great. We had a few drinks including bottle of wine and gin...overall bill of £123 for 4 of us was great value. Only a small thing, and a nice touch, as we arrived and went to sit down, there were a few crumbs on the floor ...the waiter asked us to wait and swept them up. Surprisingly quiet, not sure why, definitely worth a visit....we may see you there!

Food was bad.. worst food I ate.. no flavour.. ginger in every bite.. had ordered a takeaway..not eating here again... If you are in for a bad Indian food then go for it mate!!

Fantastic and original food. Amazing flavours. We got a takeaway on a Saturday evening and ordered through the online menu. The whole process was easy and efficient. The food was ready on time. The food was possibly the best Indian food that we have eaten from a restaurant, beautifully spiced, fantastic flavours and very good value. We will definitely be back when we are next in the area.

In Stone on a Sunday night after hiring a narrow boat for a weekend, we had been turned down by every other pub restaurant in the town because of the time (after 9pm). As a last resort we decided to look for a take away. Arrived at this place and we were not sure if it was too late. On the contrary the owner sorted us a table and we had a selection of superb food, A really interesting selection of ingredients and taste combinations. Really enjoyed it and we shall return again.

A little hidden gem. Food is spiced different and very tasty. Try the potatoes indian style, the pakoras, the very large spicy prawns. Great price, great food, great service. I would recommend to a friend for sure.

I ordered a burger that was described with a secret signiture sauce that turned out to be a small amount of chilli sauce, it should of had grilled onions, they weren't on it and the lettuce was soggy and not iceberg. The burger itself was very well done and dry, I had to put loads of mayo just to make it ok. & the korma chip's, the sauce was nice but not hot, and I had less than a handful of chips, I counted 12... First time trying this restaurant and won't be trying again unless it's for Indian food. Not worth £10

Excellent evening sharing meal with family. Attentive friendly service from first stepping in. Lovely selection of sharing dishes and sides. Very reasonably priced. Would recommend.

It’s with great remorse that I have to give them one star but honestly I’ve been one of their most loyal diners and bought lot of business through my friends. But since last 3 visits we have seen a consistent fall in both the quality of the food and the customer service as well. Yesterday my friend and her daughter went for dinner. I order a zinger burger and they got variety of starters. Their lettuce wraps for even my brown taste buds were incredibly spicy. Same for samosa chat as well. The portion sizes can hardly feed a small bird. I have eaten better burgers in cheap takeaways- I got a tasteless chicken fillet with lettuce- no sauce and no flavour. Both of the guys knows me well and I know them but they have started to take their regular for granted. They didn’t even offer an apology or change when we told them several items were too spicy. We were told that burgers had the non existent sauce. And then they were too hasty to clean the table to even let us finish the only saving Grace which was Korma chips. Customer service doesn’t mean smiling in your face and still being deaf to what your customer wants, specially when you know they have come here many times. Sadly this was my last visit to this place.. I will definitely say that nothing on the menu is authentic Indian/ Pakistani anymore. And the flavours and the portion size have gone down massively.

Awful delivery service. Was quoted an hour for delivery, and ended up ringing Streat after 90 mins to be told the driver was on his way. Needless to say we were not impressed by a 90+ minute wait especially on a weekday evening. The delivery driver eventually arrived and was sullen and disinterested. The King Prawn curry contained the amazing total of 4 prawns. Never again will I order from them. Appalling service 😡

Ate here last night for my sisters birthday. The place was quieter than expected but that didn’t ruin our atmosphere. We had some incredible meals after ordering most of what was on the menu. The Veg Poori was a strong winner by all accounts. We also had their famous Grandads Special Cocktail which was fantastic too.

Booked a table online for 5pm turned up at 5.02 ,resturant not open we waited un till 5.10 after trying to call and knock on the door and left . nobody called or emailed to say there had been a problem or they had had to cancel our booking awful customer service wasted journey to Stone.

A quick supper before a football match - we weren’t disappointed - speedy service & very tasty food. We opted for a sharing platter & some lamb chops - excellent Would definitely go again

This is the place to go when you fancy a curry. Their menu has everything you could want, but more importantly, everything you didn't know you wanted. You can buy a Tiffin which changes each time you order it. 3 delicious curries and rice, never had a bad one. Big thanks to the chefs for making every experience a joy for the senses. Great value for money!

The vindaloo was nothing like a vindaloo pretty weak the rice wasn't great an the Nan bread was microwaved pretty dull tbf delivery was good tho but won't be ordering again

Great food, good prices and excellent service

The menu really is different to any other Indian/curry restaurant I’ve tried before. It offers a variety of dishes, a kind of tapas with a Asian theme, the most important thing is the food is excellent and real quality. Add in friendly staff it makes for an enjoyable visit well worth trying.

Tasty Asian street food with plenty of good vegan options. We've ordered online a few times and not been disappointed. Order / wait time is reasonable. Pricing is great with a wide selection of dishes available. Staff are friendly and helpful when collecting.

The staff are awesome, friendly and always willing to recommend a good cocktail or dish. I have been with my girlfriend and friends about 8 or 9 times, both as a group and just two of us. The food has always been nice, reasonably priced, and they even had 2for1 cocktails a while back. If you're feeling decadent then the Korma chips are banging.

Having tried a takeaway from here before during lockdown, we thought we would try out the restaurant itself.The food here is excellent, with the curries clearly cooked fresh to order and well presented. I love a king prawn balti and these were the real deal! Great size and well cooked. Nice selection of sides and starters too, which also went down a treat. I recommend the masala fish bites! Worked through a few cocktails too which were well priced. Service was attentive throughout. We'll be back! For me, this is now the best curry place in Stone.

Chicken burger was the worst I've eaten. Chips are not cooked we decided to the spicy chips omg I think they went over board with the chilli you couldn't eat them its such a shame first & last time we are going to order from here definitely not worth the money 😡. Gutted if I'm honest . I had the noodles 🍜 it was okay u get a alot but not worth 😔 it

Ordered from here last night just fancied something different, we had tex mex starter it was really tasty & plenty for 2, then we had a fish platter & a meat platter both were really nice full of different spices & well presented also the massala chips were really tasty. Overall we couldn’t fault it & will definitely be ordering again & would recommend it to anyone!

We’ve been into streat previously to eat in as a couple and with friends and the food has been fabulous each time. The staff are friendly and we couldn’t fault the food. So tonight we’ve had our first takeaway. Absolutely delicious, will definitely order again. Won’t even consider going to any other outlet to order again, Streat beats them all. Even though we fell just outside the 5 mile perimeter for delivery the driver told us to give them a call and for a charge they’d still deliver. 5 ⭐️‘s from us

I try and eat here every week. The best relaxed eating in Stone. Real food like I've had many times in Indian homes. Not all that bright red stuff !

We discovered this place a couple of months ago and the food is insane! The taste of India and memories returned to me when sampling their buttered pratha which was an authentic copy of a Goan Indian breakfast. All dishes are recommended! We have been several times to sample all the delights on this menu and will continue to support this local business. They also offer take away! I don't understand why they are not always fully booked as this place is offers something special. Thank you Streat Indian food!

Decided to try Streat as a takeaway option and it was delicious! Ordered online, delivered within the hour and food was fresh, flavoursome and definitely hit the spot! We will definitely order again as-well as checking out the restaurant too! Highly highly recommend!

Visited a few times over the past few weeks with my girlfriend, we both absolutely love the food, and they have a great range of gin, rum and whiskey! The staff are always engaging and the service is perfect.

Placed a takeaway order for delivery and after nearly a hour and a half and several phone calls still no food. Promised refund yet five days later no refund.

I have never had to deal with a such unorganised business in my life. I ordered a takeaway for delivery giving them a 45 minute window which they told me would not be a problem but they still failed to deliver. I phoned after a hour to be told it was on route and would be with me in a few minutes, 15 minutes later still no food, bare in mind we are only 5 minutes away from the restaurant. So on the phone again to find out that it hadn't been sent out for delivery and the conversation that I could here in the background was it hadn't even been started to be cooked!!!!Utter shambles, utter shambles.

We went early Saturday teatime for a bite to eat. I'd looked on the website and it said open from 5pm but when we got there it was closed. We hung about Stone in the hope that if we went back at 6 it would be open and it was. They could do with the opening times on the door.I am so glad we waited though. The chap serving was friendly and helpful. The place was clean and welcoming. The food was freshly cooked and was absolutely delicious. We ordered 6 plates for 2 of us and a beer each and it came to about £30 which we thought was really great value. We will definitely go again.

Ever since opening Streat has become our favourite place to eat! Love the tapas style food, Nachos & Masala Fish Chunks are firm favourites? Excellent for a quick bite to eat without leaving you too full. Always excellent service whenever we've been!

Thought we would try somewhere different for a quick tea after work and was recommended Streat by fellow employees at work.Extremely pleased with the choice, although it was very quiet in the establishment, that didnt bother us.Food was served quickly, piping hot, friendly service and tasted excellent. What more can you ask for, will definitely return!

Having ate at streat a number of times now I cannot fault the food or service! Decor is lovely and it’s great to be able to try different Indian dishes! We will definitely be returning!!

Just had a 5 star birthday party for my son in law in Stone Streat. Food, ambience, staff, locality everything totally perfect. Thanks for a memorable experience. Many guests who had not been before said they would definitely go again, as a family we have been many times, we love it. Many, many thanks for a fabulous party.

Recently met my son from the train and called in to Streat as we were peckish. It has a very relaxed, cafe bar sort of atmosphere. It is more informal than the standard Indian restaurant. It is billed as a graze bar and that describes it well. So over a couple of pints of Staropramen, we sampled tapas sized portions of Indian street food and it was delicious. The centre piece of the meal was a tiffin box, a traditional way of serving a working lunch. This had 3 varied dishes, a chicken, a lamb and a vegetable curry. We then supplemented this with lamb chops which were especially nice and a prawn curry. I like this way of serving the food as every body shares and samples everything. You start small and just keep ordering till everyone has had enough. The staff were really pleasant and helpful. The menu was different and interesting. Full credit for trying a different approach and maintaining high standards.

Been a few times. First time when first opened, great. Subsequent visits, not great. Ran out of basics, like lemonade! And other things. Food quality was poor. Although staff were friendly.

Went last night for the 1st time, definitely be going again. Food was very tasty, good beers & wine. We were both looked after well by the friendly staff. Although the place was a little quiet, I’m sure once more people get to find this little wonder in Stone, it’s going to get busy. Looking forward to our next visit.

Staying with my brother and his wife we visited Street Graze Bar after an afternoon in the food festival,( we didn't eat in the food festival, thank goodness we didn't). Anyway what an amazing place. The food was just the best, one of the nicest meals I've had, so flavoursome. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was to much trouble. Wine was really good value. Great evening, lovely deco, definitely recommend.

We were struggling to find somewhere for food on a Tuesday in town when we came across this place. We had our little boy with us and so we weren’t sure he’d find anything to eat but we were wrong. It was very quiet whilst we were there but with the music and friendly service this didn’t affect the atmosphere. We went with the waiters recommendation and had a few sharing platters to start followed by the tiffin box, chops and flaming bird. All the food was really tasty and we couldn’t fault the service. I’ll be back to try the two for one cocktails I’m sure.

We visited here on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty. The bar man was really friendly and helped us to choose a cocktail. There was also a deal on so we had 2 drinks at a good price. Decor was nice and there was plenty of seating on the ground floor, upstairs and outside. Good choice of music. We were also given a little side dish on the house which was a lovely gesture. We went back on the evening and the place was very busy with people dining. Might have to visit again in the evening to sample the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

So lately all of my usual take away choices have gone from 5star to 1 star ratings on the ‘scores on the doors’ site meaning awful for hygiene etc, so we were looking for somewhere new and found STREAT!

Tried a new dining concept in STONE last night. WOW!!!.THE interior decor was quirky, comfortable, different and the ambience very welcoming. We were early (5.45) but what a pleasant atmosphere to walk into even though we were the only two there. However MO, who we have known for more years than I care to remember, along with ARTURO made us very welcome. THE FOOD what can I say. Presented in small portions, a constant stream of delicious dishes designed so you can choose from any according to your taste. The service was excellent along with the food.If you have not tried it,get of the couch, and get your little legs in gear and enjoy . JUNEIL

Met at the stone soap box race, sampled some food and returned later for a meal. The restaurant is super trendy, modern and has a great atmosphere. The team went out of their way to make us something different as well as some of their on menu choices. The style off food is fresh, packed full of flavour and well worth trying. Combined with a fully stocked bar with lots of choice. An absolute must visit restaurant and bar.

Streat has really set themselves apart from all the other Indian restaurants in stone. The food was full of flavour and extremely tasty, espeically enjoyed the seafood platter. The staff were very friendly and helpful. And the jelly beans at the end were a lovely touch!
