I decided to eat here last week as Costa was busy. Unfortunately the vegan cinnamon cake was disgusting - dry, tasteless and a hair in it. I reported this to the owner, who denied any responsibility. Couldn't and wouldnt recommend - the other 1* reviews are correct. Plenty of other local and clean places to enjoy coffee and cake!

I ordered from the Sugar Shack, to surprise my work colleagues. I ordered the Nutella Cookies and the Biscoff Cookies, as well as their Vegan Cookies and Vegan Brownies. Everyone was impressed! The portion sizes were huge and they tasted magnificent. Even those with egg allergies were impressed. I will definitely buy from them again!

Clearly wanted to shut early so left door open on freezing cold day to bring in tables/chairs from outside. Asked them to close it but refused to do so until they’d finished. Won’t be returning.

High StreetBooked a table for 2, but changed this various times as the birthday celebrations grew. This was no problem for the landlord & landlady. Service was great and the food was delicious. 2 of us stayed the night. Rooms clean and super-king size bed comfortable. Very enjoyable experience and would definitely go back. Felt very welcome. 5 *****

58-59 Devizes RoadStarted raining so took shelter in here. Oh my God, thank you for the rain or we would never have stopped in this gem. Great atmosphere and service. Will be back!!
