Decent boat pub in the Thames. Great pricing and great views of the Millenium wheel. Well worth a visit if you are on the Thames wandering around.

Came for a girlie afternoon tea and it was lovely food was really tasty and our server Lumi was so polite and helpful! He was really helpful with our dietary needs and was attentive throughout!

We were absolutely blown away by the experience we had on New Year’s Eve on the boat. Greeted with a glass of champagne to then enjoy a fabulous band, DJ and amazing canopes throughout the evening. It never felt cramped or overcrowded and I would truly recommend it as a once in a lifetime experience.

We spent NYE in 2024 on the boat moored opposite the London eye. Our experience was fantastic. Paul and the team provided outstanding service and left us with memories to cherish. What a way to see in the New Year!

Spent New Years Eve here and it was excellent. Front row for the fireworks, a brilliant band, top service from the bar staff and very tasty food. Would highly recommend.

Lovely unusual pub on the Thames

An amazing night at Tattershall - great service from the staff. A bar everywhere you turn. And the DJ is brilliant. Loved our NYE on the Thames.

We had the most wonderful experience on the Tattershall Castle for New Years Eve. You can't get a better view of the fireworks and the service / entertainment was incredible. Could not recommend more!

This place has a great view of the London Eye especially at night. You could have a drink at the deck. I think drinks are different from the upper deck and the restaurant inside the boat. I was met by a slightly rude staff on the upper deck but the restaurant staff in the lower deck are always so lovely and accomodating. There's also a club inside so still a nice place to hang and chill with friends.

Good food. Reasonable prices. Sometimes awful customer service, from one waiter in particular, balanced out by the great doorman and bar staff.

London's best-kept secret! This workplace is ELECTRIC, especially at night! NYE fireworks were INSANE! Amazing team, supportive management, and an unbeatable work environment. If you're in London, you need to experience this! 10/10 would recommend!

Great food, poor service (excluding the bar staff). We asked to sit by the windows and were told we couldn't as tables were reserved. However, the next three couple's to walk in were seated. Never recommend it to anyone.

Honestly so disappointed. First time I come here to have food in the lower deck and the service was abysmal. One of the servers was rude, loud and not helpful at all. We felt rushed and it was just not a pleasant experience. Such a shame as the place is so unique and beautiful.

I attended a private party, very well organised, with very good food and professional swrvice.

Very pleasant immersion setting on an old ferry with a view of the Thames, the London Eye and Big Ben. However, we waited more than 30 minutes before being told that the order was made at the bar, a selection of soft or alcoholic cocktails that tempt you but, at the time of ordering, are no longer available. “available”… Slow service but a willingness to charge you excessively quickly. I only recommend for the frame.

What an amazing place and atmosphere. I booked a table in the window and just enjoyed looking at the river traffic and the ambience. It's an amazing paddle steamer. Worked from 1934 to '73 I believe before they built the Humber Br. And I sailed on her as a paddle steamer. It's now a great venue with great food and beer. I always come to the PS Tattershall every time I visit the Big Smoke. It's a bucket list item ... again and again !!!

Festive tipsy afternoon tea was absolutely fabulous! This is probably one of the best I’ve been to (& I’ve been to many!)… absolutely amazing value for money, on the Thames, overlooking the London Eye. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Vegetarian Options and Poor Service We recently visited Tatter Castle for afternoon tea C£22 per person), but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. While the views and ambiance were excellent, the service and accommodation for dietary needs were disappointing. Out of our party of seven, three were vegetarian, and one had a chickpea allergy. The vegetarian options were extremely limited—only one sandwich suitable for vegetarians, and even that was unsuitable for the guest with a chickpea allergy. When we raised this issue, the staff stated that no alternatives were available, leaving us with very little to eat. To make matters worse, the sandwiches were served mixed together on the same platter, with non-vegetarian options touching the vegetarian ones. As someone whose dietary restrictions are based on religious reasons, I found this unacceptable, but the staff were dismissive, stating, “this is how it is served.” Despite prior dietary preferences being confirmed by the booking lead, the restaurant failed to accommodate these, resulting in one person receiving a single small sandwich and another receiving just a basic cheese and tomato option. The service was equally poor—no one checked in on us during our time there, and we had to keep asking for basic things like hot water for tea. The restaurant did offer a £10 discount for the group, but this did little to make up for the lack of vegetarian-friendly options and inattentive service. While the setting is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was disappointing. Tatter Castle needs to significantly improve its menu offerings and service to cater to dietary requirements and provide a welcoming experience for all guests.

First went here in 84, than 93,than 2013 then again today, fun place , clean, great service and spectacular views. Just had a pint but it was fun, again!

My coat was taken and dumped and my pockets riiffled through while I was on the dance floor. Not safe place and no cloak room. I wouldn't recommend.

The chicken wings are the best I have ever eaten. You can enjoy the night view of the London Eye while eating. Great.

Lumi was our server today and we were on a time crunch and needed our food out fast, and he pushed our order all the way to the top and he brought out our food hastily to say the least, in less than 15 minutes, our food was out, phenomenal server, amazing food, impeccable atmosphere, would recommend to anyone and everyone, especially if you happen to get Lumi as your server

A great setting when there is sunshine, good dishes on the terrace and a fair price.

I had a lunch date there. It’s a beautiful venue. On a sunny summer’s day, it’s the best place for a drink. We had lunch on the lower deck. It is at the water line and you can feel the movement of the boat. Had drinks and lunch. They have a well-stocked bar. I had scallops and they were small scallops. And they were delicious. Also had the beef short rib which fell off the bone which came with some greens and mashed potatoes. The beef ribs were tasty. The waiters were attentive.

We booked a table for 6 for Sunday lunch. The boat itself is nicely set up for drinkers or for dining. Unfortunately, service was incredibly slow, and not overly engaged, and it took two hours to get through one course (the Sunday roast). The offer of unlimited potatoes, Yorkshires and gravy is a bit deceiving, as the initial portion size is not large, and it was 15 minutes after we finished our meal that our extras arrived (given we'd ordered them beforehand as well), rather defeating the appeal of unlimited extras. The rest of the food was actually quite pleasant, but not enough to make up for the otherwise underwhelming experience. We left without bothering to order dessert, due to the service time. For somewhere that actively advertised unlimited extras, and required a deposit per head for table bookings (despite barely being half-full), we found the experience a bit underwhelming.

Funny nice visits a little short the 45 minutes go by super quickly and it doesn't drop you off at the starting point but at the tower bridge, it allows a little visit of the bridge

Beautiful view! It's near the London Eye and other attractions. The food was great and there was a good vibe on the boat. The bartender was absolutely charming. I ordered the chicken satay (skewers) and it was superb.

Great experience. Expensive but worth a visit

Being from Hull I had to call in for a cheeky one during a recent very quick sightseeing tour of London, the castle is a great place to enjoy a pint.

Went here two nights, first night just drinks on the upper deck, there was a D,J on, the atmosphere was electric, and great wine. Second night we decided to have evening dinner downstairs in the restaurant we both had the sunday roast i had the lamb and my partner had the beef, both delicious and reasonably priced , great service and again great atmosphere

Great location near Embankment tube station, which makes it easy to get to. Being on the river, the views are fantastic. However, if you're on the open deck and the weather isn't great it can get cold, so wrap up and enjoy.

Afternoon Tea was lovely. Bottom layer was 2 Chicken and Avocado sandwiches (Other options available). Second Layer was two brownies and 2 raisin scones. Top layer were sweet biscuits and cream and and unknown dessert (maybe strawberry ice cream with other stuff?). All tea options were twinnings, I had peppermint. All of it was excellent.

Good situation with views of the Thames. I was below deck in the cocktail bar. Considering it wasn't that busy bar service was slow but the staff were polite and pleasant. The food was good and Considering the location reasonably priced.

Great place for a chilled out drink on the Thames

Me and my family we came here and we had amazing day. We been service by Lumi.

Burger were really tasty and service really friendly.

We went there by chance cause it was the closest thing we saw on maps and the view was amazing, a lovely surprise. The drinks were good, we ordered sweet potato fries and they were tasty. The tables were dirty cause it rained earlier but no one bothered to clean them or dry them, I had to do it myself with some napkins. The people taking the orders weren't the friendliest but it wasn't that bad.

Delicious food and good service

Lived in London for over 20 years seen this delightful little place many times coming into Charing Cross and walking by the Embankment but always assumed it was a private members club or private hire! Looking forward to spending more chilled out time on here. I love it!!! Couldn't help but keep repeating in my head The Beatle's Yellow Submarine all the time I was on board!!

Had a works do here and it was a great venue, the food was good and a great atmosphere with great service

The drinks and foods are worth the price. In short, I will recommend and would be back there. O Friday they have a on deck DJ with good music and dancing space. The view is gorgeous and you can sit by the river while you eat and drink with friends. Michael made me the best negroni I had in London so far and everywhere I go I ask for one. So congrats to the man. Also, he was very careful with my food allergies and suggested me to avoid the dishes that could have entered in contact to my alergens.

Reserved for the great view. Reservation costs £20 that goes toward your meal. Be sure to remind them to deduct from bill at end. Reasonable price for food. Partner's bangers and mash were good for the price.

Fantastic place on the thames, directly opposite the london eye. Had a drink here before our trip to the eye. Friendly, welcoming and great views. It is so much more than a pub on water. A must visit if in the area.

Decent wine not too pricey in a great setting

I last visited this venue in the 1980s. So much has changed. Great atmosphere, great views of the Thames and London Eye. The food was good and the drinks were good value. The venue has many different assets on many levels. I will return again.

I've been coming to this pub since the 90s. Always great for a gathering of my friends and family. My cousin booked an area on deck for a family party and the staff were great except one guy on the security team who accused my husband of being drunk before he even boarded (he'd literally come from work and hadn't had a drop). For some reason this guy had a problem with him throughout the night. We'd had a good evening with our friends and were finishing with one last drink and this guy gets on our case and starts harassing my husband again. The bewildered barman was told to stop serving us and we were ordered to leave. Usually the security staff at TC are professional, polite and respectful, but this guy behaved appallingly and shouldn't be anywhere near working in pub security or a customer service role. I will be taking this further.

Met up with some friends here a couple of weeks ago for drinks in the evening. Service was slow although it wasnt too busy at the bar. Nice atmosphere and great view of the Thames, London Eye etc. Beer and cider on tap. Very good.

We met with family for a lunch date and being that we weren't too hungry we opted for two sharing plates one of which was the seafood plate which was overcooked deep fried fish and squid with smoked salmon on the side. No imagination went into plating and it looked quite unappetizing being an all beige platter. I'm unsure if table service is actually offered here as we got our own drinks, asked for menus and placed the order ourselves. Our only interaction with a server was when we had finished the food and our table was cleared with no offer of desserts or another round of drinks. The guest sitting downwind of us also sat puffing away on a vape which constantly blew in our faces did not help and we decided to leave. Unfortunately a disappointing experience.

Great venue and a different experience for an event. Lovely food and plenty of room for guests. Boat rocks a bit especially below deck but that is expected being on a boat!

Don’t leave a deposit! Left a £2,000 deposit for a business event and a month later it’s still not been refunded. Bar staff seem a bit entitled, as if we are meant to thank them for letting us drink there. Food is reasonable. Basically an overpriced Weatherspoons with a great view.

This is the restaurant I visited to see the London Eye night view. We simply ordered a bottle of wine and stayed until the London Eye lights up. You can order and receive alcohol directly at the bar, and you can sit wherever you want among the empty seats. I liked the exciting DJing and the beautiful scenery. One drawback is that because it is on a boat, it is cold in the evening even in summer. The party on board will be more enjoyable if you bring warm clothes.

This place gets very busy in the evenings even midweek but despite this it doesn't normally take too long to order. Drinks order was wrong last time I went but was corrected promptly. There is a good atmosphere here and several bars.

One of the best bars in London in the summer for afternoon/evening drinks and the best view of the London eye you'll get. Drinks and food reasonably priced considering the location and the views of the river. A must when in London. Also has music and comedy at weekends.

Make no mistake, the location is great, and eating on a boat is a bit of a novelty. However, every single pint glass our drinks came in was FILTHY, with fingerprints, lip stains and even crusty bits of old fruit! Service was woeful, with a 5 minute discussion and many trips back and forth about my wife's gluten intolerance, before the waitress asked if anyone had any allergies at the table. The food itself was... fine, but charging £6.90 for a 330ml bottle of non-alcoholic beer is borderline criminal. We get it's a place milking the tourist hot-spot, but this place should at least have some half decent standards for itself, honestly!

The experience is very novel, old ferry with three bars. Middle bar is the most traditional (top deck is a pimms and lager sun spot, bottom deck is a murky cocktail lounge) the middle bar allegedly had 2 ales on, hobgolbin and london pride, however the guy behind the bar said they were both off as he could only get pints of foam from the pumps, went for neck oil instead which he thundered into the glass straight, so I think actually he could not pour ale! Food is available at very expensive prices which is expected for the location. (£17 a burger, £18 fish and chips).
