The best takeaway in town! The best curry, rice and nan bread there is. Been ordering from the Balti for over 20 years and it is always amazing.

On the whole it was ok but was disappointed with chips really bad , raita dip , madras was good , korma disappointing needs taste improvement. Also as a suggestion I wish you did half portions.

Ordered for 9pm. Arrived 6.30pm lol. Not a problem. Was still as gorgeous as ever. Thank you 🙏

First ever order from here as our usual indian was closed. Chicken Tikka Wrap was huge more than enough for two people, chicken tikka masala curry was beautiful, sweet and creamy. Will definitely be ordering again the future.

Ordered a mixed kebab and peshwari naan, mushroom pilau rice and a balti box with jalfrezi sauce. Mixed kebab came with salad. Total cost was £28.40 which makes it reasonable value for money. Taste of food was very good. Portion size was very good. However, I felt like the meal was bulked out with too many chips. Delivery was quite quick, would definitely recommend and return. Ordered through Just Eat.

came late order was marked on the way rang after 20 minutes said it just left shop food arrived cold couldn't be bothered to ring ad waiting over 1hr 30mins for it

I think this takeaway might of changed ownership because the food used to be fantastic but unfortunately the quality has massively went downhill so after this takeaway has been my goto Indian takeaway for years unfortunately I won't be back.

Very nice Chicken Tikka masala and peas pilau Rice. Onion Bhajis were Massive and there were Three. Puri delicious. I use this restaurant on a regular basis.

I've had Indian foods from all around the world apart from a quaint little restaurant in Barcelona this takeaway is the best in the northeast by far. I have been eating from this takeaway for over thirty years and every meal I get from their is a mouth watering flavour sensation many thanks the the team from the balti x

I’ve had takeaway’s from here before so I think I’m able to leave a fair review and honestly the two curries … korma and tika masala… bland . Chips stale , positive.. naan bread and pilau rice as usual very good . Won’t be back too soon ☹️

Rice was terrible. Always ordered from here and never had a bad one before tonight, seemed to have changed the rice and its no longer like a vegetable pilau rice. Poor quality

Order and cancelled as forgot an item, reordered and they sent both orders charged for both orders, service and delivery charge for both orders. I understand the error around cancelling and reordering may be my use of app however the resteraunt can clearly see two very similar orders one with rice one without and proceeded to send both !

Wouldn’t ever order again just because of the delivery time. The restaurant would not answer the phone so we could ask for an update.

I’ve used the Balti for YEARS. Tonight was nearly a 2 hour wait, I know it’s a Saturday night but never usually wait that long. Also the chips went in the bin, they were undercooked and tasted weird

First time and won’t be the last either as food was both hot and very, very tasty.. possibly the tastiest vindaloo I’ve had in this town.. poppadoms were on the slight soft side and not crispy and fresh but can’t complain on anything else. Thank you Balti staff 🙏

Mains were lovely, as was the naan bread and kebab starter. The onion bhaji, usually one of the best things about the meal, was not so good tonight, stodgy rather than crispy. Overall the meal was really tasty, thank you. Delivery driver was lovely but unfortunately the meal was nearly 25 minutes late.

Food was nice but when ordering delivery said 50-60 minutes but once ordered changed to 60-80 minutes. Food was then 20 minutes late on top of that so took 1.5hrs in total. Would not have ordered if I had known wait would be this long. Very disappointing.

Had chicken tikka jalfrezie which was lovely, not too spicy but tasted superb, plus garlic cheese Nan, fast delivery defo be back.

We always use The Balti and its always very, very nice but last nights meal was exceptional! Highly recommend the Thali selection and the Bengal special, both meals, absolutely delicious. Delivered early and piping hot, packed lovely, no spills. Without a doubt the best Indian takeaway in the area.

The food was great but very hot, I do like Hot curries but this chilly garlic chicken was a bit too hot but I couldn't stop eating it as the flavor was great

King prawn Madras, Chicken Madras. Pilao Rice, naan. All very good. I collected (15 minutes) but they do deliver. It is cash only.

have been ordering from here for the last 3 weeks the food always tastes the same and piping hot onion bhaji are absolutely huge and gorgeous this is now my new favourite take away..

LOOKED ON TRIP ADVISOR FOR RECOMMENDED INDIAN FOOD. As I hadn't tried this one before (a lot of them are boiled chicken with differant sauces poured over), I placed an order. I had a chicken bhuna with mushroom pilau & poppodom, which I can recommend. I also had a Peshwari Nann, which tasted lovely but hadn't travelled well.

Once again my fave curry house serves up a totally beautiful meal for my wife and I. The range of food is very wide and sure to please many many tastes from very mild to phal curries. I once had a phal from here and needed 2 cartons of cream to tame it a bit. Absolutly gorgeous it was, just a tad hot!! This meal saw a harihalli for me, a superb spinich curry and a Malaysian curry with banana and pineapple for my wife. Take my word for it you will not be dissapointed 1 bit.
