One of the best micro pubs in Sheffield Good selection of real ales and plenty to choose from if real ale isn't your thing.

Fantastic small community pub, brilliant cask range and a few keg too, all excellent that we tried. Friendly service and friendly locals, we were visiting the area and couldn’t have been made to feel more comfortable and welcome in what is clearly very much a regulars place. Totally recommended.

I really like it here. Intimate. Not in a creepy way. Usually interesting beers - a sensibly chosen range. Limited bar snacks but exactly all the right choices.

The Beer House on Ecclesall Road is a fantastic little micro pub, and in my opinion, one of the best, if not the best, in Sheffield. I've been visiting for several years, and it never disappoints. The beer selection is always excellent. There's never been an occasion where I couldn't find a beer I fancied. They consistently offer a great variety, catering to all tastes and preferences. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a quality pint. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend something new to try. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking out the Beer House. And if you're around Hillsborough, their sister location is equally worth a visit. This place is a true gem for beer lovers!

What a watering hole should be. Great draught beers, great outdoor seating and great staff.

Lovely little spot. It has a really traditional English feel. The bartenders are incredibly polite, friendly and bright. I stopped for one and had 3. It has a popular beer garden. The place may look simple, but do not be deceived, it has character. It's a yes from me.

Good choice of beers, I had a London Stout. Cosy with fire roaring in the stove and the place packed with locals and their dogs on a Friday evening.

Just popped in for a quick pint until my bus was due. It was very quiet from 14.30 to 15.00 until I left. I haven't seen it that quiet before. Must have been the weather, which was dull and wet.

I had a nice beer there but I think it'd be nice if they had more variety. Just saying.

Cosy beer house. Outdoor space at the front & back plus indoor seating. Small bar area with a variety of beers/lagers including a couple of alcohol free options. I enjoyed a tasty 0.5% pale ale.

Madge popped in back in 2021. Decided to bring me here. Great destination for lovers of beer. A small real ale emporium no less. Madge chose a hazy Pale Ale from Alpha Delta brewery in Newcastle. A first ever beer from there for me. The micro bar has two rooms plus a small front roadside space and a "hidden" rear garden. Well worth a visit. ( Log burner for winter months ... Sept to May in Sheffield according to Madge!)

Good selection of beers both in cask and on keg. The back bar held host to an interesting selection of gin and whiskey too. Would definitely return the next time I'm in the area. A brilliant little micropub!

Stumbled om this great bar after eating further up the road. Good range of drinks and very helpful barstaff, explained all of the beers on draught. Highly recommend this bar.

I've lived 2 doors away from this place for years now but I'm not a big drinker so never been in myself. I do notice a lot of people thoroughly enjoying themselves here though, which is always nice to see.

The staff here are wonderful.The only thing that is disappointing is lack of decent lager.Hey but it is called the beer House.

A fantastic Bar, selling a wonderful selection of beers. It has a stylish interior. It's all socialy distanced, and feels very safe. There is outdoor seating, which gives it a Continental vibe, while adding to the safety aspect. I would highly recommend this place. They also do a thoughtful selection of canned & bottled beers. It's a must to visit The Beer House.

Quite a small tap list and felt very rushed into ordering rather than being allowed to take a seat first and take off our coats even. That being said the venue is nice and good to support these micropubs

Great little bar. Good selection of Ale, we chose this pub to be our first drink during lockdown. They had great Covid-19 guidelines and the weather outside was great which helped. Sorry i didn't take a better photo.

Small but perfectly formed 😊. Clearly they know their beer. But they also have a good handle on both Gin and single malts too.

I have to say that come straight to my mind when I think of this place. The owner as soon as I walk in said he would not serve me. I was sober, cause I hadn't had a drink all at. When I pressed him for a reason ie I was by myself. He still told me to leave. In my opinion this man is very very rude

It's ok. Not really my style. It's a bit basic for me but I can understand why people would like it. Staff friendly and beer decent. I would go back.
