Visitamos quizás un par de veces al año cuando vamos de compras en Londres. Las mesas son cómodas en el interior, pero siempre un ambiente vibrante. La comida es excelente. Reserve con antelación para obtener una mesa y esperar los precios de Londres.

Su mañana tuvimos una experiencia bastante decepcionante en el restaurante. El dueño (asumimos) – un hombre con cabello castaño – se encontró como bastante antipático y bastante condescendiente. Parece que este no es el lugar para visitar sin una reserva, ya que los nuevos huéspedes no parecen ser particularmente bienvenidos. No amable, no acogedor. No vamos a volver.

Appalling service from front of house on Sunday 22nd December at 11am ish. Waited to be seated, asked for a table for 4, for my mother and 2 sons. The gentleman was so unhelpful, treated us like 2nd class citizens, there were apparently no tables available, but we weren’t offered an alternative time (despite the man in front of us being offered a table in 45 minutes) or any kind of apology from the unpleasant member of staff. Just because you are in London does not mean you have to be rude- your job is in Customer Service.

magnificent brunch, sweet or savory, good coffee, fresh and quality orange juice, fair price. it was very good 😋

10/10 - book in advance, popular spot. Best pancakes I’ve had in the UK by far. We also had english breakfast and eggs benedict. Flat white and apple juice for drinks.

I love this venue. I needed a place to meet three friends. it needed to be friendly and also quiet. I explained what I needed. We were so well looked after. Hugely well served over the couple of hours we were there and they were simply the best. I arrived on a motorbike and they advised where I should park. They kept an eye on the bike! Thank you to all the team. You are a credit to your establishment and a job well done. I recommend you unconditionally.

The food here was a clear 10/10. Very nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated especially at Christmas time, very nice staff and excellent food. We got a seat straight away, but since the restaurant is very small, you have to be a bit lucky here. Clear recommendation!

Although the food itself wasn't bad, it wasn't really convincing either. The eggs Benedict were bland and lacked seasoning. What could have really made a difference was freshly cooked bacon instead of the pre-cooked alternative that we were served. Such a simple adjustment could have taken the dish to a higher level. The dessert, a refined take on a classic chocolate lava cake, initially impressed with its rich texture and creamy center. Yet this dish also lacked an extra dimension. A touch of cinnamon, a pinch of salt, or a hint of cookie spice could have made all the difference and turned a good dessert into an unforgettable finale. In short, there is potential, but refinement is lacking. Fortunately, the star of that morning was the cappuccino. Strong, tasty and almost velvety soft. In short, everything you need in a morning!

Every time we visit the UK and London, we love staying at the Lime Tree Hotel and eating at their adjoining restaurant, The Buttery. The food is delicious, down to the butter, tea, coffee, and house granola. The staff are so welcoming. We wish we could visit more often. Little details add up to a great culinary experience!

Very pretty venue but shocking service. Ordered a coffee to go, and after waiting 10 minutes was told I’d just have to keep waiting because they were busy serving other customers. Nothing in the way of an apology, they appeared to not care in the slightest. Ended up leaving after 15 minutes, with no coffee.

I highly recommend this address! While in London, we were looking for a place to have brunch around Buckingham, we were delighted to have found this superb place offering delicious dishes. The service was impeccable and the manager showed great kindness after an order error. The sense of commerce and the warm atmosphere make it a real favorite.

The place is beautiful and the service is great but the food really isn’t great. Scrambled egg was way over cooked and coffee was cold!

Have been so many times and will go so many more times. A very nice way to spend a weekend brunch, it’s so beautiful we almost always go for terrace if we can. The food is delicious of course and just a great place to wind down on a weekend

Excellent breakfast. Avocado toast, pancakes, viennoiseries… all qualitay food. The coffee was really good, se were the fesh juices. The place is quiet, cosy, unlike the other crowded coffee shops around, which was a relief. A great place !

Very nice place and you can see that attention to detail is very important as it is decorated in a delightful way. We arrived there without a reservation and they looked at us a little askance... I understand everything but it would never occur to me to book a place for breakfast the day before... Very fast service, almost too fast because I felt a little rushed as we actually went in and ate in 25 minutes which is actually also an advantage if you are in a hurry

Sitting down is nice, but the coffee is bad, and the food is cute, but not terrible. The fried halloumi is just delicious

Had an amazing breakfast at The Buttery! We ordered scrambled eggs, French toast, and a croissant, along with a flat white and cappuccino. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff were incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a great start to the day!

Fui un huésped en el Lime Tree Hotel y reservé el desayuno para mi última mañana antes de salir. Pedí huevos escalfados y una clara plana. El café vino y fue genial. Esperé 30 minutos por mis huevos y cuando llegaron estaban fríos. Debí enviarlos de vuelta. Pero estaba muy hambriento y consciente del tiempo. Los huevos eran realmente deliciosos y habrían sido maravilloso caliente. El hecho de que esperara 30 minutos me hizo sospechar que estaban sentados en algún lugar esperando a ser traídos a mí. No suelo quejarme de este tipo de problemas, pero cuando le dije al tipo que recogió mi plato que tenían frío, el attituto no fue muy amable. Él descontó la comida -que yo no pedí, pero lo hizo con una actitud desagradable... no fue mi culpa y me hicieron sentir como era.

The Buttery is a charming restaurant located in a beautiful small hotel in London. We tried both breakfast and brunch, and the food was absolutely delicious. Overall it's good place to brunch

We really loved this place a a lot. The food was amazing the staff was really friendly and accommodating. We got to sit in the garden out back where it was quiet and just beautiful. Make sure you try the English breakfast here!

Fantasic staff, super accommodated. Only think I think could be nicer is a heat lamp in the garden for the colder days. Portions are great, though on the lil expensive side you do get big portions!

I get the "no devices after 12pm" rule, you don't want people taking up tables for too long. But if it's 12:11 and I'm waiting on you to bring my food, and over half of your tables are empty, it's dumb to tell a solo traveler that they can't read on their 11" iPad. Either bring my food faster or don't be so rigid in enforcing arbitrary rules. Otherwise, restaurant was cute and food was decent. Good music too.

Desayunamos aquí una mañana antes de salir de turismo. Tuve el shakshuka más increíble. Estaba absolutamente delicioso y el café con leche también era perfecto. Solo razones no cinco estrellas - muy lleno y mesas atascadas demasiado juntas - que para el desayuno no es tan malo. Además, shakshuka vino con .. una rebanada de tostada - cuando se considera que era un desayuno de inmersión - debería tener más. Pedí más otra pieza y los servidores no pudieron averiguar cómo facturarla, cómo llamarla y esto se convirtió en una gran discusión entre ellos (no es broma). ¡Nunca recibí mi segunda tostada! Fue como estar en un episodio de Monty Python... Pero aparte de eso la comida era genial y el comedor - incluyendo el jardín - era hermoso.

Beautiful place near Victoria Station with an internal garden where there are several tables where you can eat. Truly delicious food. Prices quite high but repaid by the quality.

The waitress is a super person. She didn't write anything down and got all the orders just as we asked. The food is tasty and well cooked. All dishes were served at the same time, and the plates were hot. Loved it. Good, proper service.

Absolutely amazing place to have brunch. We sat outside in the most wonderful garden with beautiful rustic touches and relaxed atmosphere. The food was superb and we couldn't have asked for a better service. We will definitely return. Highly recommend a visit.

The guy who is responsible for the seating is very rude, and it is not the first time. Food and vibes are great, but ruined unfortunately by his behavior.

As an American tourist visiting for just a couple of days, my family and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit for brunch. The food was excellent, the garden scenery was welcoming, and the service from the wait staff was very helpful and kind. If you are out and about walking through London, and you stumble upon this gem, you are in luck. I'm sure the locals know this place well. Highly recommend.

What a shame. This used to have a quaint, quiet English country feel, and was our favourite spot in Belgravia. Not now, sadly. The new management appears to have changed the vibe. Awful music has changed the feel, and it appears to be catering to a new clientele. Food, however, is very nice, and it's a truly wonderful staff. Five stars to staff, food, but 0 for atmosphere.

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying brunch which is very tasty and service was friendly and attentive .

Wonderful brunch and beautiful inside + garden patio. Especially for North Americans used to certain types of pancakes, definitely do not go for their pancakes as the other reviewers are correct, they are a pretty dense compared to what’d you be used to (I’m sure the French toast would’ve been better). Otherwise the breakfasts were great and the potatoes were the best I have ever had, period.

Nice spot for breakfast or brunch, particularly if you can get a table in the garden. We have breakfast here several times over the course of our stay at a nearby hotel. I recommend the granola/yougurt bowl with fruit or the eggs Benedict. My husband enjoyed the French Toast. Cappuccino and cafe latte were perfect as well. A bit on the expensive side but given the neighborhood, to be expected. Service was consistently very good

Great spot for some brunch, we all thought the food tasted delicious and the restaurant has a lovely cozy, but upmarket vibe. Staff were attentive and friendly. The portions are a little on the smaller and expensive side and the menu isn't huge. Not a bad thing, just worth noting.

One of the better eggs Benedict I’ve had. The egg yolk was bright orange and the break was just right. Really enjoyed this place. The service could be quicker but that’s about it. Great experience and worth the visit.

This resteraunt is located in a hotel. It opens at 7:30 am M-F and 8:00 am Sat - Sun. The food is excellent! They offer cold pressed juices, full breakfast menu and lunch. Our servers David and Reqeem were very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend this place if you are nearby.

Really excellent, ask for the small garden at the back of the building for lunch, the setting is great, the waiters are very good and the food is not so bad for England, the typical local breakfast is strong for fans. Go there with your eyes closed.

Overpriced restaurant,but Eggs Royal is just fine, and the coffee was extremely hot . I needed to wait for 10 minutes to drink it. The host is quite mean,no smile from him,but all the staff is so sweet. We were served by a wonderful lady, I don't remember her name , but she was so lovely!

We visited The Buttery for breakfast twice on our stay in London. We first sat outside in the garden our first time while the weather was good, I highly recommend dining out there if possible. Cappuccinos were excellent. In addition, the food was spectacular.

Cozy place to have Brunch. Variety of dishes and the decoration of the place is beautiful. Attentive service and they have a garden inside, terrace style. We liked a lot. They have both sweet and savory.

The staff are incredible. Attentive and respectful also very kind. The food was amazing perfectly seasoned. The salt and sugar level ride the line in such an eloquent way that has you going back bite after bite. The bar tender knew his wine! I also had the baked Alaska and it was very very good. Portions just right and prices on point. Unique yet classic and AMAZING highly recommend.

We had the eggs Benedict and butter croissant. The English muffins the eggs were served on was quite hard making it hard to cut and chew but everything else was fine. The croissant was good but wished it could have been heated up. Service was amazing, lovely servers and very friendly! Had some miscommunication but it was promptly resolved with no fuss, thank you again !! :D

Came here for breakfast 18/05/24. Staff seemed disorganised and we were made to feel like an inconvenience by the woman who greeted us at the door. After we were seated, it took a while to be served and then over an hour for the food to be brought to the table. The food was good but the service was poor considering the cost of the food and the service charge already added to the bill. Really expected the service to be much better.

My wife and I visited The Buttery on a Sunday morning during a weekend stay in London and we absolutely loved it. It ranks as one of the best breakfasts we have had in London. It was a warm sunny morning, we sat inside and It was quiet and relaxed. We had booked a table in advance and we had a nice view of people walking by. The staff were attentive and we will definitely be coming back hoping for the same lovely chilled (hopefully sunny) breakfast experience.

Extremely slow and poor service

The hands down best breakfast I had in London. The staff was super friendly. Had a whole conversation with them. We had friends showing up late and they accommodated us so very well! This was the one breakfast I really loved and stood out in our 2.5 week trip.

We have had breakfast here two days. Definitely recommend sitting out in the back garden. Good dishes, lovely coffee and a good atmosphere. In addition, the price is quite reasonable.
