I'll start with the positives the food for most of us was very good. Duck excellent, Prawn Cocktail lovely, Prawns very fresh. Turkey sandwich awful, overpowered by cheese. But what let us down was next level rude staff from all levels. They honestly could not have cared if we had a good time or a really really bad time. They knew that people would keep coming in without them having to try. We will not be returning. We continually had to serve ourselves wine and when we finished one we turned it over, hoping we would be asked if we wanted another before having to find a staff member ourselves. It was a shared ice bucket and so when the other bottle was taken out they just let ours fall into the water and then they served us the ice bucket water!!!!!! Zero and I mean zero apology. Other drinks which we were served ie Wine by the glass was warm (again zero care factor when I asked for a cold glass of wine) and we had to continually ask for service. Our table was in the middle of the thoroughfare ie an afterthought and so we were continually being knocked as people walked past.

I used to be a regular at the Cadogan, returned here for first time after the refurb with 7 friends to have our annual Christmas meal together. We were expecting a Christmas Feast of Turkey and all the trimmings. Unfortunately on arrival we were placed on a table in a through fair, people walking past and knocking us constantly, between the kitchen and the restaurant. Then we were told unapologetically by the head waiter that we can not have the feast menu and would have to eat standard pub menu, he wore blue glasses and was extremely rude and unapologetic about the mix up with our booking. Instead of turkey and all the trimmings we had to settle for standard pub food and it completely ruined our night. The waiter did not care and was just rude to us all evening, he made no effort to compensate or salvage the error. We left early and went somewhere else. We won’t be returning.

The Cadogan Arms remains a very popular pub in Chelsea and it was totally rammed with pub goers upon our arrival for a Saturday evening dinner. The well appointed dining room is separate to the pub but still very much exposed to the noise levels which were rather excessive! The main course section of the menu is quite pork heavy and as a non pork eater I was relying on the (non published) grill menu to save the day, hence was quite disappointed to learn that there was only a single portion of sirloin steak left on the entire grill menu! This was at 6:30pm on a Saturday. Apparently they were having an off day, and we even heard the next table being informed they had run out of bread! After being told that bacon couldn’t be removed from items like the duck leg or venison pie, I settled for the sirloin, and along with my wife also tried out the fried chicken and onion bhajis starters, while she had a cheeseburger as her main. Our 2 kids had the fish & chips and the chicken burger. For dessert we tried the sticky toffee and the crumble. The food was generally decent however the sirloin was delivered on the plus side of medium well instead of medium rare as requested. As the only grill item left in the whole restaurant, I would have expected it to receive a bit more attention in the kitchen! Service was reasonably friendly and efficient. They were quite apologetic about the steak and in the end removed it from the bill entirely, which was appreciated. After this deduction our bill came to £180 of which £55 was spent on drinks. Overall a somewhat disappointing meal. If we ignore the apparently not normal supply issues and overcooked steak then perhaps a 4 star rating could be warranted. That said I certainly preferred my recent meal at sister pub The Hound in Chiswick, which would be my easy first choice for a repeat visit.

Had a Sunday lunch here.. Food was ‘ok’, a bit mixed, but the service was a real mess. The mains arrived when one of the table was literally still eating his starter. Staff just sort of carried on pretending not to notice. All a bit of a mess… It feels like it should be a nice place but unfortunately there are much better options available at the price point. Shame really...

Booked for my girlfriend’s birthday last night. I wonder if both the chef and manager were both on strike? We booked a table for 7.30, and despite arriving 15 minutes early we were told that their famed daily grill menu was not available and we were not given a reason as to why. Perhaps they should be “specials” and not advertised as a menu online if they’re not always available? The trout had burnt skin and was overcooked. The burgers were also overcooked and one portion of chips came out tepid. Cocktails were hit and miss, but we have been before and the cocktails were excellent. Yesterday we consistently had to remind staff of drinks ordered throughout the meal as they were very slow to arrive. The service was all over the shop - nobody seemed to be in charge of looking after us. Staff were seen arguing with each other on the restaurant floor. Very disappointing given all the superb feedback we have had on the place. On another day we may have walked out after 10 minutes but getting a table for 4 in the area on short notice on a Thursday in December locally would have been difficult. Won’t be returning.

Nice pub on King’s Road with a great selection of craft beers on tap, including some from smaller breweries. It’s spot on for a post-shopping pint. We were looking forward to a good pub meal, based on a top 50 gastropub rating. 2 venison pies were ordered for my wife and I. Initial impressions when served was that the pie was very thin, served on an iron skillet. The first few mouthfuls were tasty but we both soon had long stringy lengths of gristle in our mouths. A pile of discards remained on our plates when the waiter collected them. My wife did comment, pointing out the piles of gristle andcthecwaiter just responded with a 'sorry about that'. We are not ones to complain or leave reviews to be honest but i did feel compelled on this occasion.

At £31 and £35 per dish I was shocked to receive cold, dry food with unseasoned vegetables and small portions. The meat was so raw that it was literally unedible. Popped in en-route to The Ivy for a quick drink. Limited seats available so my wife and I sat on bar stools. There are many bar stools along most of the bar, which makes it very difficult for those ordering drinks that don't have a stool. The bar service was awful. The staff seemed to either stay at one end of the bar, even when there were no more people to serve that end or they were busy preparing drinks for diners. It took upwards of 10 minutes to get bar service and there was no-one in front of us! When we finally ordered, the barman was slow and was then distracted in conversation with a colleague while prepping one of our cocktails....and this was right in front of us! I had to ask him to hurry. I certainly will not be back for drinks only at this venue but may try the food (or more likely go to The Ivy again!). Very disappointed by the lax attitude of the bar staff and set-up of the bar in general, it felt very disorganised...and there were ALOT of bar staff there.

Beautiful interior and nice beer selection. Unfortunately service was a bit frosty - bartender could not crack the faintest of smiles plus rather aggressively and rudely demanded ID from both myself and my partner (I'm 28 and haven't been IDd in a pub for about 5 years) - I know many would see this as flattering but it was a bit ridiculous considering the likelihood that two 17 year olds would be showing up in Chelsea to pay £15 for 2 pints of ale is pretty slim 😅

After seeing an exhibit at the Natural History Museum sponsored by Chelsea's famous Cadogan Family, wouldn't it be nice to have lunch at the Cadogan Arms, which is walking distance away (but in fact, this "walking distance" will make people walk until their feet are about to break and require Pray that it doesn’t start raining halfway)? There are only a few pubs in London recommended by the Michelin Guide (one star, others recommended). The Cadogan Arms in Chelsea is one of the recommended pubs, and man what a pub it is! So far in London Among the several famous pubs I have visited, some are in the nostalgic style and some emphasize history. I think the decoration design of Cadogan Arms can be described as "classical and gorgeous". Many media describe it as "glory". I personally think it is very appropriate. , this gorgeous interior is retro to the 19th century Victorian era. I think this alone is worth a visit. Cadogan Arms is not just about decorating the food, it is also remarkable. It emphasizes the traceability and quality of the ingredients. The fish and chips that I ordered this time are available in almost all pubs and seem to be ordinary. The fried skin has no smell of fuel consumption. , the fish itself has good taste and taste, obviously it comes from good quality fish. Apart from the commute from South Kensington, the V&A, or the Natural History Museum until my legs are about to break and praying that it won’t rain, and the possibility of running out of seats if it’s too popular, there’s probably no issue. Recommended as one of the must-visit pubs in London.

Such a great environment inside. The drinks and food is of such high quality. I came across the bar manager at the bar (I think his name was Krenard or something like that) and boy did he put on a show with his cocktail making skills. Very much a maestro when it comes to making cocktails which left my wife and i thoroughly impressed. All the staff were lovely but Krenar made it memorable - give this man a raise!!! Certainly coming back, great service of the staff!

Three of us had a lovely Sunday lunch sitting at a table in the sun and watching the Kings Road go by We all roast beef which was excellent. Fabulous Yorkshire Pudding, great veg and a lovely bone marrow gravy The service was perfect - friendly and attentive The Cadogan Arms isn’t cheap but sitting outside with fabulous food and a view is worth it

We had a Birthday Party with 30+ guests. Everyone who attended raved about the food and the service--we were proud to have held our event at the Cadogan Arms, and have already decided you will be our go-to place for any future events.

6* Absolutely amazing restaurant located in Kensington. Came here a couple of times previously and unfortunately they were fully booked, tried our luck again and thankfully they were able to squeeze us in.(BE WARNED- if you haven't booked you'll be lucky to get in, definitely so at peak times). The menu looked great, rustic English fare.We went for stilton mousse and cheese and leek tart for starters followed by rump of lamb and fish pie. The food was faultless. Every dish tasted gorgeous. The wine (just went for Malbec and Chablis by the glass) was very nice too. The service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The atmosphere was warm, cosy and romantic with a very rural theme. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and the location of the restaurant. Overall we had a great time and I'm so glad we were able to get a table. We'd both like to go again, soon. My thanks to the gentlemen on the door, they were very busy so I didn't get chance to get his name (owner, manager, maitre d, greeter?) But he was amazing and a real credit to the restaurant. I'd highly recommend this restaurant.
