Amazing staff Chloe especially and Sophia were amazing. I clumsily split beer on myself and they were so nice and sympathetic towards me. Chloe even allowed me to use deodorant and perfume of her own which were not supplied by the venue itself. They were so polite and chatty and knowledgeable about the local area to help with our trip.

Nice pub, let down by clueless bar staff with zero experience. Drinks aren’t cheap and they have no clue how to pour a spirit with a mixer and no hint of an apology nor replacement. If you drink beer or wine then you’ll be fine as they can’t screw that up.

On the way to the hotel we noticed the pub/restaurant. Monday is Wings Day (from 3 products ordered) + pizza 25% cheaper So let's try it out, it sounds like a "bargain" An order: 1x burger + extra bacon 17 pounds 1x American Style Pizza 10.12 pounds 1x pepperoni 9.38 pounds 1x Wings in BBQ 1 pound 1x wings in baffulo sauce 1 pound Total 38.5 pounds A service fee of £5.31 will be charged on the bill A margarita was also delivered instead of pepperoni and 3x wings were charged but only brought twice. But neither of those bothered me much You can give an extra tip Food including tip 10% + service charge 5.32 cost around 52.5 pounds = 62.5 euros 3x Cola Zero (extra bill) 11.5 pounds The burger was tasty and the (ready-made) pizzas were ok, with the wings BBQ was better than Buffalo, but that's a matter of taste For a total of around 63 pounds (including 4.5 pounds tip) = 75 euros, in our opinion the meal was a bit too expensive and not a good deal as we had hoped. But it was also due, among other things, to the service fee, which was overlooked...

A fairly nice pub, with good means to watch a game of football. The pizzas are tasty, but careful with adding add-ons - I paid £3 for a few extra small slices of pepperoni. The pub also has 2 pool tables upstairs (which is nice), but they close 2 hours before the actual pub closing time (which is not so nice). We wanted to play some pool at 18:00 on a Sunday, but were told that it's too late (pub closes at 20:00).

The food (burgers, fish & chips) was delicious. Plus the pub atmosphere and the friendly service - just great.

Great food at a decent price. Would recommend the wood fired pizza, which is a great taste of Italy in Southwark/Bankside!

Food was shocking. A pizza that appeared minutes after ordering it and fries that were supposedly truffle-infused... they had a bit of cheese thrown on them. The place looks great, but the food is very poor and the beer is very dear.

Unacceptable. We asked if there were seats for us (2 adults & 2 children), "no problem" was the answer. When we got to the 4th half an hour later, we were asked to leave with the children. Where children are not wanted, you can't make any recommendations, so stay away or just open an adults only place. By the way, dogs weren't forbidden...

FANtastic place to get some food and watch the game. Great service and they are careful with your dietary needs.

Nice quite pub. Ok selection of beer. I did not spot ant cask ale and they did not have any gluten free draft beer. Had a 4.2% IPA which was exquisite.

I loved this place, great outdoor seating, TVs on all areas so great for watching sports and other events. The prices are good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We ordered american cheese and bacon fries - the portion was great and they didn't hold back on the cheese and bacon which was delicious. The burger was super juicy and the caramelised onions were to die for. The only downside was the ribs (it was a bit dry). Their blue cheese sauce was delicious and helped the ribs dryness. All in all a great place and I would definitely return for other burgers.

I came here based on the reviews, and on that specific day I was in for a steak. The pub had good attendance, without being jammed packed, which was a good thing. There was a good ambiance without having overly loud music. It was exactly what I needed ambiance-wise. Food was good. Interestingly, the steak came pre-cut.

All in all great, we ordered burger, really tasty. Drinks were good and good variety, no complaints there. Only issue is the tables are high and stools low, not very comfortable to sit.

Very nice pub and depending of what do you order, you can get very good fish and chips here but very bad squid (not the full portion on the pic) or nachos from the store, so try to avoid those.

A place to visit after work. Fries were quite nice as were the ribs. Quick service at lunchtime. Nice gallery and there's an outdoor area which is great for summer dining.

There are 3 pool tables at the top floor section. Amazing music and food.the dj has a very interesting deck setting.

We had a margarita pizza. She was very tasty. It's self-service, but that doesn't bother you.

A pub in a hole in the wall under railway arches. Would have once been full of rats. It is now full of rats of the human variety

A great bar, good atmosphere and service. The advertising can be a bit misleading regarding food deals. Poster advertised "£1 wings" for example - later realising that this was £1 per wing. Less the bargain it seemed...

This was a decent bar, we just popped in for a beer. Even though there was a Christmas party going on, they still had available seating for other guests and the service was prompt. We did not try the food here as we were just hopping bar to bar. Maybe next time.

Avoid. Food is simply terrible. We ordered loaded fries w blue cheese and chicken. Its was super spicy, tasteless. They used cheese nachos ready sauce from off licence. Shame

We were trying to find a pub to watch the football in but we hadnt booked (this seemed to be a fatal mistake almost everywhere else) but stumbled across the Charlotte after some googling. I am SO glad we didnt go anywhere else - loads of tv screens (including outside) - cosy pub with lovely bar staff - the manager even put the F1 on for us after the football. We also had a fresh stonebaked pizza whilst there was was lovely!

Busy pub, always has a full crowd during the week They have a nice layout in a big airy room around a corner bar. Pub has upstairs area with pool tables payable by the hour. The rear has an outside area for those that love inhaling and exhaling smoky products. The Charlotte has a nice drink friendly food menu with four types of loaded fries. There are other meal options from fish and chips to vegan plant burgers. Quite trendy, not a young crowd The pub does show sports but it doesn’t dominate. Screens are up on the roof

Wir waren zum Abendessen da und auf kleinen Absacker. Wir haben dann festgestellt, dass es sogar live Musik gab sowie sehr nette Kellner, die uns alles geduldig gezeigt haben. Essen war einfach super, zu empfehlen sind vor allem die Burger und die einfach göttlichen Wings (wir hatten Buffalo), Fisch und Chips sind ebenfalls sehr solide. Wenn ich etwas kritisieren müsste, dann dass die Sauce der Mozarella Sticks etwas seltsam sauer und ein wenig zu scharf war. Sonst einfach super, wir kommen gern wieder.

loved the place, came to play pool there. Staff is super friendly, especially kitchen staff. We started playing and didn't realise how it got to 9pm. That's when their kitchen is closed. They were so kind to make us food, we were cautious to ask but saw how smiley and kind they were. Thank you so much guys Your burger was sooooo good.

Fun local bar to have some drinks in Bankside!

Fantastic place. Top staff. Forgot our valuables on table when we decided to move to outdoor area. The staff took the time to find us and return our belongings. Great lively and unpretentious atmosphere. Honest staff who take an interest in looking after the customers. Many nice places you go to once in town. This one I'll return to more than once.

Wonderful pub with gluten free beer on tap! Managed to watch the cricket whilst having some light bites (only gluten free items!) Only criticism was restricted gluten free choices on the menu!

A number of staff (not just one!) did not know my table number existed, so not only did I need to place my order of chips twice, but I also received a meager portion of plain chips rather than the loaded chips I ordered. They also don't serve cocktails most days!

Hidden jem under the bridge. Burger was best I have found so far in London. Atmosphere inside is great, lots of TVs to watch the football match. Also food runner was very attentive.

Ein Pub an einem Unscheinbaren Ort. Es wird nicht an unter 25 Jährigen ausgeschenkt. Eine Sportpub, wir gingen am Sonntag abend hin und es war ruhig. Die Lage ist toll und grosse Auswahl an Getränken und essen für den kleinen und grossen Hunger

Called in here around 4 45pm 3 adults four children aged 10. Large table had reserved from 5.45 so i asked could we sit there till that time. Man behind bar said yes we could until 6pm. We all sat down but no one approached us so i approached the bar and requested menus. They were pointed out to me so i got them. We read the menu and again went up to the bar and asked was there a kids menu and was told just order and we'll give half portion. No one approached us to rake our order so i went to the bar and ordered my pizza and wings for my daughter. But i was told no kids portions. My sister in law also had to go up to order her food. 6 staff all talking behind the bar and no one looking after customers. Shortly after my daughters wings arrived followed by everyone elses but not mine. The first time a member of staff had approached us was to tell us no kids allowed after 6pm. I told him we'd be gone. After 15 minutes i approached the 6 staff and asked the blond girl did she know where mine was as she had taken my order. She said she'd check but didn't bother to come back to me so after 4 minutes i approached the bar again to ask. She said it would be here in about 5 minutes. I told her after 5 minutes i wouldn't want it. It finally came and it was in a cardboard box. This was so awkward at a table with 6 other people. At 5.48 the blond girl came over and told us the people who reserved the table were here and we had to go. As it was I'm stuffing the food down my neck as everyone else has finished. I told her we were told we could stay till 6 and that we had asked specifically but she said no we had to leave. Im fuming at this stage so told her no again and that she needed to talk to the other guy who said 6pm. She was so rude and not a bit professional. The other guy comes over being very nice and tells us we can stay. The dog that came in got better attention that we did. 6 people with their backs to you behind a bar all chatting is not very professional. Approach your customers, do table service, serve pizza on a plate...its not rocket science Wouldn't recommend it Wouldn't go again.

This is not my kind of place. The music is just way too loud and is presumably designed to engender a situation where you drink more because you can't keep up a conversation. It's pretty crowded too on any typical after work drinking day. I've been 3 times and twice either some or all of us left to find somewhere quieter. I'm sure most of the clientele aren't bothered by the music to the point of leaving but I genuinely believe that if asked 90% would prefer it just a bit lower -at least before later in the evening. Staff are nice and work hard at getting the drinks out to the hoards.

Absolute muppets. I tried to book a Pool table with their online system. But it's not fit for purpose. So I called and they can't take bookings over the phone... but after some time we worked around it. Then they cancelled the booking the following day having overlooked the pool tables being booked on that night! Having invited clients, it's just embarrasing.

My suggestion is that they don't reserve ALL tables on busy sports days and leave some for walk ins

Wouldn’t show the league cup final, after multiple interactions with the manager. The manager was very stubborn, despite the place being full of Newcastle and Man U fans, coverage only started at kick off. Food was cold, no soap in the male toilets and they decided to not serve cocktails after charging us (which had to be refunded). The place is run by a clown!

We had booked a table for the cup match. The football wasn’t put on until 5 minutes before the game started, and they had run out of lager at half time - not even bottles left.

Booked a table for 4 and called to check that we were going to get a normal table and not a high one and received confirmation. When we arrived I talked to the waitress and said that I had a booking under my name. She did not know the password of the computer so she left to continue collecting glasses and left us there standing for about 10 minutes. Once finally someone arrived we got showed to our table and it was indeed a small high table. When I reminded the waiter about my booking he said that’s the only one he had, either that one or nothing. I then went to the bar to order. Asked for a Stake and got told you were out of stakes. Asked for a pint of neck oil and got told that you were out of neck oil. I then ordered something else and sat down at the table. Waited for 20 minutes and only one plate arrived and you did’t even bring any cutlery, just chucked the plate in the middle of the table as it was. I stood up and grubbed the cutlery myself from the staff area. After 10 more minutes someone came to tell us that there has been a mixed up in the kitchen and the plates where going to arrive soon. Food arrived a bit later. I honestly don’t know how you could have done worst than that. Seemed like the place was managed by a bunch of school children. I am not asking for your team to go the extra mile and be super friendly or anything like that. Just asking to get what I booked and what I ended up paying for. Looking at this experience your website sounds like a scam. Focus less on marketing and more of doing the bare minimum expected from a restaurant.

Ate here as it was close to our hotel. They currently have an offer of 50% off pizzas, which was a good deal, even though full priced they are still good value, soooo much pepperoni, really great amount. The chips were very salty and small portion for £4 which was a bit disappointing. The chicken wings OMG, not a single wing, a whole wing! So 6 is basically 12 wings that you would normally get anywhere else! The place was a bit too noisy for me, having to shout at the bartender my food order, but food was good value for money considering its London

Meeting up with daughter and granddaughter. Wanted something quick for lunch that was close to Daughter gym. Been here before and was good. No sunday lunch menu this time, but good menu. Friendly staff. Formula 1 was on TV and place was a but busier than before. We started with the Mozerella dippers (Cambert was off the menu today), really nice. I had hlaf rack of ribs, very tasty, great sauce, crunchy chips, all well cooked. Daughter went for the Caesar Salad, looked great and large. Pint for me and a Zero for Nicole. All excellent and gald we chose to come here.

Funky decor ,nice food, plenty of TV's, a big covered outside area , the only issue we had a couple of nights was getting a table around 6/7pm but this happened in a couple of bars in London at these hours so it might be a thing which happens down London where people book up all the tables for when they leave work so they can congregate with their colleagues.

Found this little gem when looking for a place to meet up with some old friends. A super delightful place. Friendly and spacious with a real buzz. I will have to go back again to sample the menu as didn't have the opportunity but on seeing some plates coming out...I regret not doing so.

Unique selling points are flat iron steak and homemade pizza. No steak. No pizza. Burger was OK Restricted list of drinks OK
