Great customer service and food

Nice food, decent service and prices but quite noisy in the restaurant area due to the bar being popular/busy (on a Saturday night at least)

I'm definitely more of a pancake and waffles girl, I could eat waffles with almost anything, that’s how much I love them. So, discovering a great pancake spot is always exciting. The pancake at The Cosy Club was fluffy, filling, and just right. The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the extra avocado topping was the right amount. Yum, yum, yum! It’s located in the city center, so parking can be tricky. I recommend using the Snowhill Station parking and taking a short 5-minute walk. The staff were super friendly, and I even had a nice chat with the manager about plans for Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day). They don’t have anything set up yet, but she suggested I keep an eye on their social media for any updates. I did notice one diner swearing, and I think it might be worth the restaurant considering a clear policy or a watershed approach could help maintain the atmosphere for everyone.

Came in for dinner with my partner and close friends - food was amazing, service was wonderful (thank you for Karys!) and it was overall an amazing meal! Thank you so much!!

Fake drinks they don't use anything of quality

Strange place… gorgeous building and space… friendly staff… food lets it down really, particularly given price…. Panko fish and chips… comes with a kind of spinach florentine sauce which was nice… but the fish didn’t have any obvious panko crumbs and looked like one of those weird shaped cheap frozen fish steaks you used to be able to buy from Iceland or Tesco… could only have been about 4oz of fish. Slightly weird taste. Doubt it had been in the sea very recently. Chips… ok, just… £19? Hmmm Shame because really lovely place inside but may be better for drinks only

Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff.

Great place although a bottle of wine was a joke at £34!! Went with friends, 4 of us had the Christmas Pie which was delicious. First time I've been and would happily go back.

Brunch was tasty nicely presented and enough for a lovely meal.

I cannot praise the brilliant staff here enough. After a booking mixup of my own doing for a large party, they went above and beyond to make sure THE DAY PRIOR that we were accommodated and well looked after. Huge shoutout to Cat for going above and beyond.

I work for the same company and trust me when I say that this place is not worth the price. The wait time, given how empty it was, was abysmal and honestly would’ve rather gone to McDonald’s for my burger. With staff discount, leaving paying £23.50 I felt absolutely robbed. Absolutely would not return. Rather go to the more affordable lounges of the same company. The service was ok at best, not terrible but not to the quality of the brand that cosy club attempt to live up to. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Absolutely awful and slow service. Waited 30 mins to order. Sent the wrong order. Xmas pie was awful! A pukka pie from the chip shop would have been better. Didn’t bother ordering dessert due to the slow service and quality of food. Toilets were absolutely disgusting! Asked for bill and left. 2 main meals and 2 cocktails cost us £95 had to pay 10% service charge for a service that did not exist! Won’t be coming back.

Busy pub. Staff are dressed so smart and are very helpful. Food was delicious and the cocktails were lovely.

Was welcomed despite not booking when it as busy with large groups for Christmas lunches. Sharing plates delicious. Had the most beautiful clementine margarita. Beautiful surroundings - and glorious old banking hall. Efficient & friendly service.

One of the most boring places in the city to have a drink.

Great venue for post-work drinks. Bar staff team probably need to divide cocktail making from general orders, as it can be slow to get a pint.

Unfortunately not great value for money. Tiny plates of food, although tasty, £30 for a small piece of pork belly a spoonful of mash and an even smaller spoon of red cabbage. 3 pieces of cheese and a few grapes. Also took ages to come. Won't go back.

We popped in for a drink and ended up staying 8 hours. Wonderful surroundings, great beer, and fantastic food.

Good atmosphere. Service, not good but they worked hard to put it right. But more staff training would definitely pay dividends. Good food.

Size of the portions is ridiculously small. I had fish and chunky chips and got a fried piece of loin that was bigger than 4 inchs.. the chunky were no more than 8 served in a small stainless steel tin. For what I paid it's not value for money and there's better options around the city centre.

When the place is quiet, the drinks are really good! However, when its busy the drinks are really unpleasant, rushed and really dont match what was ordered at all. Bit disappointed I feel regretfully unpleasant prior drinking the horrendous drinks which were displayed to me and my companions. The cream tasted like it had gone sour and we have had to make a choppy dismisal regarding our upset bowels and bloating. Kindly don't take up bartending as a job if you cannot handle busy crowds.

Service was appalling. Wait ages for drinks and food. It was not busy at the time. Table of 6. 2 meals came out OK. Next 2 were wrong so took them back to be redone but didn't bring out the other 2, served other tables instead then brought the other 4 meals. Food was OK but not great

Had a great brunch here and the limoncello cocktail was fantastic. Was going to drop 1 star because it took 3 times of asking for a cup of tea to arrive.. but decided it was still 5 star service as our server was really friendly and everything else was great..

Pre-booked work Christmas meal. We experienced a long wait for starters due to a fryer issue, we were informed about and this wasn't an issue for us. I enjoyed the cocktails while waiting, although these were served by an incredibly miserable bar member chewing gum. The starters were delicious and plentiful even as a sharing platter. The main courses were pretty standard. My average star rating is given based on the overall experience, which included: a regular strong smell of weed; miserable bar member making me feel like I was being a burden; and pre-paying £6 for a 'tipple token' for drinks on arrival to find that my house spirit cost less than £5!

Cosy Club on Bennetts Hill, Birmingham, feels like stepping back in time. Housed in a grand, vintage space with Art Deco touches, it offers a warm ambiance with dim lighting, leather seats, and quirky artwork. Old jazz tunes fill the air, making it perfect for cocktails, dining, and soaking up the nostalgic charm.

Great experience, came at a busy time but were able to get a table and the service was fantastic. All staff were lovely but exceptional service from Ellie who made the experience a solid 10/10

I arrived ridiculously early to a table booked for 7pm (arrived around 5:30pm) not only was I shown to the table, the table was changed to accommodate the need for me to be a suprise and I could sit at said table to wait. The allergy precautions were explained in great detail and (with a misheard order) service was swift and they could not do enough for us. Honestly, the best dining experience I've had in ages. Would definitely visit again, even just for the Teatime Tipple offer!!

Unremarkable service, but the meal lacks any quality or flavor, there is more choice nearby with a better offer.

I really like visiting this place, its such a nice building and place to be, the food is really good and i think decent value for money, its sometimes a bit loud in there and i don't like sitting down stairs eating, but it wouldn't put me off visiting, anyone thinking of going you will love it i am sure.

I've only been for drinks and it was fantastic. The cocktails are strong and decent, they do have a private room to do cocktail making if you wish. A good atmos, with a mix of ages in there.

The server was exceptionally good: prompt, friendly but not intrusive & everything arrived efficiently. The food was really good. Beautiful building too, quiet & genuinely cosy.

Started our stay in Birmingham with brunch at the Cosy Club. Very welcoming and helpful staff and greaaaaat English breakfast.

Nice place and nice food but odd that when I ordered a Garden Brunch they brought me toast that was already "buttered" - now it is veggie rather than vegan but I don't eat butter and it would have been better to have had the choice of spreads and to spread it myself. Well presented but a bit tight on portion - are mushrooms so expensive now that you only get one?

Went in today for a quick bite to eat. Amazing service food was excellent 👌 drink was on point. A stunning building and a stunning team of staff thank you will definitely be back highly recommend 👌

This one seems to always be busy, especially on the weekends, so safest bet would be to book a table in advance. Food is on the more expensive side, compared to other places nearby but it's very tasty. Had a few Christmas parties there and their set menus are lovely. The decor has some charm too 😊

Sat upstairs. The waiters were attentive and even though they were busy with a big table. They still gave us good service. The cocktails were lovely and the food was lovely.

Simply the worst dining experience I have ever had. Dreadful service, dreadful atmosphere. One word: AWFUL. We had pre-booked a table, on arrival it was obvious no table had been reserved for us, we were just plonked anywhere. The place was heaving and we weren’t happy with where we had been seated, we asked to move, after twenty minutes we were still at the same table, ignored, not even offered a drink! We complained to the waitress, she allegedly spoke to the manager, we were ignored further. Eventually we had had enough, we got up, told them we were going to leave because the service was atrocious and the noise was unbearable and the waiter literally couldn’t care less. We walked 50 feet across the precinct to another restaurant called ‘Ribeye’ and were made to feel extremely welcome, seated in a nice quiet corner and asked if we wanted drinks with 2 minutes. Perhaps Cosy Club should send their staff to Ribeye for training! We will never entertain Cosy Club ever again. Best avoided. Overpriced and under deliver..!

I doubt the owner will read this. But i want to say a massive thank you. Not just for the food and service. But mainly for the gluten free options! i was recently diagnosed with celiac disease and i’ve struggled to eat out until now. We come here with all my family and friends and honestly thank you. Was my 1st time eating out in a while and with confidence my food was not cross contaminated. I recently found out that you can get stella beer with no wheat. So i massively recommend you looking at them for your well run business! They ent cheap but believe me gluten free people will love this! Again thank you to my new local 🤤☺️

Never been to a cosy club before but popped in for a few drinks and really enjoyed it.really nice building with a very chilled laid back atmosphere.we didn't eat but would have liked to.maybe next time but will definitely go back next time I'm in Birmingham.. excellent place for drinks

We loved this pub/restaurant/bar. Really friendly staff, elegant and ample facilities, and high quality food. You can bring children during the day. Will come back.

Me and my mom don’t get to go out much together but tonight was just so lovely. There was a lovely lady with glasses that served us throughout the night and made sure to check back on our food for each course. The drinks were amazing! The food was good, the fish portion is quite poor though I’d say for the money and the salad didn’t have too much chicken in it which was a shame. However, the pudding and the starters were delicious 🤩 we had the pork belly and the prawns. Thankyou for a great evening cosy club and to your staff and manager on shift this Friday night for sorting out the bill for us too, very kind and attentive 😊

Popped in for cocktails during the midweek happy hour, very nice, my fiance particularly enjoyed the cherry Bakewell cocktail.

Just ate a main meal. Ordered the fish pie. It came in a very shallow dish and had little fish/substance with a few green vegetables on the side. Picked up a coffee and kit kat at the station on the way home. The food lacked taste and substance. Don't think I'll bother eating there again.

Really good 👍 If you are like me and struggle to hear the barrier your friends/partner when you go to a club then The Cozy Club is just for you The bar is not rammed full like a tin of sardines, they have good tablets and chairs and music is playing but you can easily talk over the music and hear what everyone is saying 👍 The staff are really friendly also We did not try the food but recommended 👍

The interior of this handsome former bank HQ is delightfully and impeccably naff. It comes across as a sort of gentleman's club somewhere in Central London. You are not meant to be fooled by the decor. No matter, just sit back and enjoy playing the game! A great place for a quiet breakfast or brunch.

Just ok. Had the breakfast. It was all a bit burned and overdone, and I think the somewhat cremated lump of something was a piece of chicken. I think it was all very much pre-cooked and then thrown back on a grill. Just ok. Service good and friendly though.

I want to make this review purely because of how amazing the staff are and how well they handled an unfortunate human error. I came for dinner with my family for my sister's birthday and for my dad's 60th birthday, we ordered two vegan burgers and two meat burgers. When the food arrived I had had two bites of my vegan burger and realised it had bacon jam on it. I wasn't sure if they had a vegan version of the bacan jam so I asked our server and she said she'd go and check. About 10 minutes later we were told that the chef had made an error and put bacon jam on the two vegan burgers. Of course this wasn't very pleasant to hear, but the staff handled it perfectly. They immediately admitted fault, profusely apologised, told us they'd remove the dishes from our bill, said they'd add an extra 10% off our bill, and offered a free glass of prosecco for my dad and sister's birthdays. This was all offered to us from the get go, we didn't have to argue any case or ask for any extras, it was their way of apologising to us. When our new burgers came out, they were lovely. I've been vegan for 8.5 years, these errors have happened a good few times, but this is the best it's ever been handled. So I just want to say a massive, heartfelt thank you to the staff who served us yesterday for being so lovely. I forgot to ask for any names, so any person who served table Franklin at 5.45pm yesterday deserves some recognition and appreciation. It was a really hot Friday evening and it was busy, but they still took time to make sure we were okay and that we were looked after. THANK YOU!!

We went in for cocktails before a show at Birmingham Town Hall. A great location! the cocktails were well presented and the staff very friendly. As in the name its a cosy venue!

Great pub in centre of Birmingham and less than ten minutes walk to New Street. Really interesting venue as an old bank.

I very rarely leave reviews, but I just had to in this instance. We were served by Ellie and she was honestly so lovely the entire time - super friendly and approachable. I have social anxiety but I honestly felt so at ease with her as our waitress! The food was also 10/10 and the place itself is really nice inside, super cosy :)

Lovely atmosphere and great service. We were a group of 10 and had lots of different dietary requirements. Our server Adam was helpful and knowledgeable. All the food was delicious especially the desserts.

I dined here yesterday evening and had a fabulous time, service was great and a lovely selection of drinks to accompany the food. The star of the show for me has to be the Asian fried chicken,… one of my new favourites. Will recommend and return. Thanks for a great afternoon Cosy Club :)

Have visited this place a few times over the Yeats for lunch and also for various work events. The food is great and good selection of drinks. When busy the queues can be very long.

Decor and character is so impressive!

Walked passed twice by staff I'm sick of paying premium price for drinks with sub standard service. Think best going to the off licence and getting a few beers and wine least the staff are polite and do the task.

Cosy Club has taken over a redundant bank and it is a real treat to be inside this beautiful building. The staff seated us on the upper level where we could admire the room including the stunning light fittings. The menu offers many familiar favourites including burgers, steaks and a fish goujon sandwich which looked like a tempting upgrade on the fish finger sandwich. I chose the Massaman Cauliflower which was delicious. All of the vegetables were perfectly cooked and it was served with heated flatbread. For desert they kindly made me a decaf version of the Affogato. It was great and I appreciated that the little jug of coffee had a 'decaf' sticker on it for avoidance of doubt. The staff were charming. I don't know if everyone in Birmingham is this lovely but if they are it is a strong argument for moving to the UK's second city.

Went this morning for breakfast, beautiful place, staff lovely and food delicious my husband had pancakes and I had the cooked breakfast which was nice, sadly when I started eating I noticed that I never had house rosti as stated but as I had started eating i didn't want to point it out but overall had lovely time.
