Best fish and chip shop around, they fry to order so takes a bit longer but, worth the wait. Fish is always excellent, fresh and well cooked, chips OK , seating area in the back if you want to eat in.

Parece que hay algunos baratos ofertas almuerzo, aunque sólo he estado allí en la cena cuando es bastante caro (no mucho volver de 10 libras de pescado, patatas fritas y guisantes blandos). Dicho esto, las porciones son generosas y bastante sabroso! Recomiendo para satisfacer fish'n'Chips cravings si estás en la zona.

Paramos aquí después de un largo fin de semana, ya que estábamos hambrientos y cansados, la comida era incomible. una pérdida de tiempo y dinero, no podíamos comer y tuvimos que tirar 3 porciones de comida, y lo peor de todo fue que estábamos aún con hambre.

Came here on Sat, night and wish we hadn't. Had the platter cod, haddock,scampi and calamari with chips and mushy peas. Batter was really thick and tasteless, peas taken from the heater already in the polystyrene pot, dry and awful. Chips were of a reasonable standard, certainly not Maris Pipers. Also had to wait an age, Go elsewhere.

El almuerzo especial está a sólo 3.5£ y tienes un montón de patatas fritas. Os recomiendo elegir eglefino en vez de bacalao. eglefino es mucho meatier. La bebida no está incluida, pero es sólo . 70£ por un sofá puede.El lugar no parece mucho. Tiene un par de mesas pequeñas, así que la mayoría de la gente comprar para llevar. Los cuartos de baño son viejas, pero limpias.

Traditional fish and chips! What is not to like? The cod is always in generous helpings and lots of chips. I love this place. Always had a weakness for fish and chips wrapped in paper and this satisfies my cravings.

Il fish & chips "The Flying Fish" si trovava proprio di fronte all'albergo in cui alloggiava. E' take away, ma dispone anche di un piccolo ristorante. Il gestore era molto simpatico e cortese. I prezzi economici e le porzioni abbondanti. Ci è piaciuto talmente tanto che ci siamo andati ben quattro volte in una vacanza di cinque giorni. Consiglio il mixed platter (solo £7) formato da un pezzo di merluzzo, uno di haddock (eglefino), 4 calamari e 4 scampi (i migliori che abbia mai mangiato in vita mia). Con questo più una porzione regular di patatine (£1,50) mangiavamo in due. Bisogna assolutamente andarci!

They proclaim themselves the 'best fish and chips in South London' well I proclaim them take the first part of the sign down and replace it with 'WORST'!!!!!THE PORTION SIZES ARE NOW SO SMALL it's a joke? Quality barely acceptable...Service with a smile 'in your dreams'A simple concept ruined..........I travel to Herne Hill fish bar as they are pure quality and you get a proper portion and service with a smile.This is the best chippy in south London always fresh fish and good service.

Im pretty sure there is something fishy going on here hehehI have just spent the evening throwing up in the bathroom after eating here. Was completely delicious but either it is NOT gluten free or there was something up with the food.if you do not have a problem with gluten then this place is great, if you do, I wouldn't risk it!

Lugar simples, no bairro de Camberwell em Londres. No cardápio, somente Fish & Chips feitos com diversos tipos de peixes. Molho tártaro caseiro e chá gelado para acompanhar. Não tão tradicional como os feitos em carrocinhas nas ruas, mas delicioso! Fui 2 vezes e o local esteve vazio em ambas, o que causou uma má impressão a princípio. Mas voltaria, com certeza!

This is our local chip shop and it is really good quality Cod and chips. They usually cook them fresh for you and have a really good range of foods on offer.

I've been a regular here for the last three or four years. Just recently however, the owners have upped their game. The décor is modest, the wine list is the local off licence and you bring your own in!Yes they serve cod, haddock, rock and chips, mushy peas, but also grilled dishes and salmon as well. There's a fairly private seating area at the rear and now it's the same price as take away which at about £7 for haddock and chips is a bargain!They do great extras as well. The service is good and they are always pleasant. Lunchtime special take aways run into the late afternoon too if you're ever feeling peckish.

Just another local chippy? Not in the slightest. A large front of house gives way (to those 'in the know'!) to the side door to 'the restaurant'. As part of an ongoing tour of the capital's BYOB (austerity measures abound, and rip-roaring fun!) the group landed here, in Camberwell, on a blustery, miserable evening. The decor was ... functional. Time was spent gazing up at the large model (of a Blue Peter type ship) on a high ledge, as menu selections were quickly made. Bottles were corked, noses were filled with the deliriously hunger baiting batter wafting from next door, and a succession of blue-fin tina, mixed platter, rock(!), mushy peas, etc arrived in front of us. The homely service was good, the prices very reasonable, a great selection of fish, and comfortable environs. It was a welcome change from the phalanx of Asian food BYO's visited. Coddamit! Cheap and cheerful wins again!
