The Gathering in Cheshire West and Chester

Venue is a nice small cozy spot in a back alley with chilled music. Sadly we ordered food and it arrived cold. We sent it back and it came back slightly warmer. Offered no apology just a shrug so that was a shame and ruined the experience.

We took friends from Australia as we wanted to give them a great dining experience. We were disappointed. The nibbles were fine, but the mains could have been better and hotter. The staff were good, but the air con was faulty and we had a pool of water behind our table, so we were eventually moved. I'm not sure what's happened to Chef's Table - before it moved it was simply the best experience anywhere in Chester, but now I feel it's lost everything it worked so hard to build and I certainly wouldn't recommend.

I was early, waited outside patiently, 16.30hrs came don’t open. Lucky Pete just stared at me. 16.45hrs shutters still down and still being ignored. Unlucky Pete. My employees were working late to get an urgent order out. I was buying their evening meal to say thanks. All 19 of them.

Just Eat told us our delivery was on time and delivered when it wasn't. So we had to call the takeaway and they fobbed us off saying the delviery was 5 mins away. No point in having an estimated delviery time, if you can't trust it.

Highly recommend the place as there is always fresh bakery every day,the girls which working there are amazing and always friendly,also you can find whatever you need in the shop or just order and they will kindly delivered any time.Just so handy and nice shop so i can give them 10 out off 10 for everything.
