been here before during the day with family and seems like a nice spot but unfortunately i had an awful experience with some miserable security guard at the door. 8 months pregnant and just finished an 8 hour shift so so hungry and wanted to go in there for some food with my friends just to get RUDELY turned away by the security guard. he told us “if you don’t like it u can go somewhere else” and we did. we were across the bridge with other security guards from another pub laughing at him. however the other security guard at the door was a little sweetheart. props to him for keeping calm and trying to defuse the situation.

Visited this place with 4kids for breakfast after e got the train to Euston and fancied a visit to Camden Town. Plenty of space and the usual drinks and food you get at a wetherspoons. Canal straight outside the front door and in a good location.

The place where you can have the most affordable drink and food in London, the food is very delicious, be sure to try their sweet chili sauce! Although it is located in a touristic area, the prices are very reasonable, be sure to stop by for a drink after a day of sightseeing

Didnt eat so cant say, but its a weatherspoons so should be good. It was very busy tye weekend we went, lots of stag/hen parties so seating was an issue. Staff was polite and actually I was served quite quick when i went ti the bar even though they were busy. Nice views of the canal, and lively atmosphere.

Very poor quality food. We opted for a burger and fries and I regret not going to McDonald's. Quality of food to review: half were cold and barely defrosted. The service is autonomous with an application or it is up to you to go and claim at the bar. Very fast service. Practical for aperitif moments but not for dinner. Fairly noisy pub atmosphere

Cheap place to stop and rest Coffee for £1.6

Lots of choice in food and beers at a very affordable price. And you can sit down and take your time, unlike the many street food stands on the other side of the canal.

We were there on the 24th and a blonde woman with glasses attended us. The woman was very patient because we don't speak the language well, thank you for so much kindness!!!!!! The fact that hot drinks are as many as you want for only £1.56 seems very good to us. Spectacular food quality, incredible prices, and very good service, we recommend the spicy wings with a bowl of fries. We liked it so much that we went 5 times in one day, incredible.

It's Wetherspoons...Always Full Food Same Everywhere

I don't like chain stores. But this one has a special place in my heart. For a coherent menu, relaxed manners, the number of additions and the possibility of shaping the menu (dish + drink). It's obvious that this is a budget restaurant, not an oasis of taste, but every time I try something new it is of a stable and good standard, and the atmosphere of the place itself is unique.

Beer was very bad, had a Doom Bar, was dreadful, so changed to a bottle, and had an Asahi, me and mate both agreed it was also dreadful!

Very busy. Staff mostly doing table service but no free tables. All in all not the greatest spoons but we got there in the end.

The food is good, the value for money is worth it. Better to order in person, the coverage for the app is quite regular, and by approaching the bar, say the table number you are at and what you want, they will serve you quite quickly.

Misunderstanding on order ,manager (Aramis) very rude and would not consider a resolution to the problem. Absolutely disgusted with the experience I had with the bouncer. I went outside for a cigarette and two bouncers made assumptions that I was drunk and presumably violent for no reason. However, my only option is to assume it is because I am black, since these things wouldn't have been said to a white person. They said my behaviour was "unacceptable" when all I did was try to walk in. I am astonished by the lack of respect for black people in this day and age and I hope you can do better. And a message to the black people that are thinking of coming here, do not. This is not a welcoming space for us.

From all the places in London that I have visited, this one is the most affordable when it comes to the choices of beer (local, international, craft and industrial). Located in the hart of Camden right next canal. It is great choice to have 1,2, 5 beers :)

Another perfect Wetherspoons. This has one of the best locations of any Spoons; right on the canal. It's a big place too with outdoor seating. The food and drinks are in line with any other Wetherspoons, great prices and decent food. A solid bet for a better value pub experience.

The is one the biggest spoons you'll find. Situated in Camden near the river and is always heaving with people from all walks of life. The staff are friendly and attentive, the prices are slightly higher than the normal spoons. However still worth it considering the area

Terrible, the bouncers were absolutely rude on first appearance. They told half of us who hadn’t had any drinks we had too many drinks because we were excited. They nearly turned half of us away. The tone they used with us was completely unacceptable and unnecessary. I will not be coming back here and will probably be reporting to higher ups within the company. Completely unacceptable!!!

Can't fault this place, right in the heart of Camden on the Canal, next door to the famous Stables market. Food was excellent value as always and really very tasty, with good beer to boot.

The Ice Wharf is one of the best priced pubs in the area, though I wish they moved the upper flood tables away on on a Saturday night to turn that space into a dance floor! It used to be a really great nightclub, but the switch to a more traditional Wetherspoons means it's a nice family lunchtime option, or a stop-off before other boozers in the area. The burgers used to be pretty large, but over time they've thinned out. The food generally is decent, but the focus is on value rather than the highest quality meal. THE WIFI AND DATA SIGNAL HERE IS HORRENDOUS! It makes it impossible to order anything via the QR code.

They cut our table off because people were sending us too much food, bad jest ruined our day and ignorant when questioned about it

Worst bar ever in London. Literally the worst experience I have had. Most rude bar in London. They literally kicked us out after two drinks because they ‘felt’ they needed to. The managers were racist, homophobic and rude. Wouldn’t recommend to any brown or black person.

Like most of the other Wetherspoons around the country, it hits the spot. Reasonably priced food, great selection of beers and friendly staff. I found The Ice Wharf to be spotlessly clean and efficiently run.

Nice pub, I walked here from Islington along the canal towpath. Lovely outside area right by the canal and with a pedestrian only bridge if you arrive on the other side. Ordered on the app which when you are visiting a pub on your own is great, you don't lose your table going to the bar to order. Drinks arrived in about 6 minutes on a busy Friday night. My pint of Guinness was perfect, as good as you get anywhere. Food came a few minutes later, very nice and friendly service. It's way more expensive than Wetherspoons outside London but you pay for the location.

My husband ordered a glass of beer at the pub, while I bought a coffee at the nearby Black Sheep cafe. Despite my husband being a paying customer, I was abruptly kicked out by the security staff. It was an unpleasant and disrespectful experience, and we won’t be returning to this place. Very disappointing service—shame on them.

Lovely staff inside. I accidentally knocked over some chips as no room on table and the lovely lady replaced them no issue. Bar staff very good and friendly too. Unfortunately, the night was somewhat ruined by one very rude bald doorman who did not let me BACK in simply because I dropped my drivers license. Now I understand it is illegal to sell alcohol to drunk people on any premises, but I was not going in for alcohol so was essentially being refused water. Additionally, if the reason i dropped my license was not due to the drinks but rather a medical issue such as parkinsons or a mental health issue like anxiety, it is incredibly discriminatory.

Frequently give the spoons I've been to a review as I find them to be decent. Not the first one I've been to in London by any stretch but this has to be the worst spoons I've visited overall in the UK. Staff don't prioritize at the bar at all. They have no idea who has been waiting longest or just don't care ( I am northern so this could just be culture shock?). I gave up in desperation and used the app instead. The garlic bread arrived almost immediately but the drinks took forever. A couple sat near us nearly had their chairs swiped numerous times despite being clearly still using the table. Obnoxious attitude by the young crowd in here, again could just be London. Never seen it in a spoons before and personally, I'm sceptical that Tim Martin would be allowing it, but here we are... There was a guy in the men's gatekeeping the hand washing facilities. You know the kind from 2008 with 30 knock off scents, lollies and will hand you some paper towel that's already available? Thought I was 18 again but not in a good way.

Really good service was very fast and efficient. My friend and I didn't have to wait long for food at all once ordered on the app it was with us within a few minutes.

It was a bank holiday weekend so I can understand why it was so busy but it was almost deafening. Some drinks arrived at our table on time but one from our group didn’t get his drink and then he had to go and get one from the bar and pay all over again. The first pint never arrived. I guess it was a very busy shift for the staff but we hadn’t had a drink yet and we were gasping! I’ll come again, maybe on a weekday.

Absolutely disgusting service. Was refused to be served. Saying I was too drunk. I had 3 pints all day. Me and my fella only wanted food and told the manager this. We were refused Ran by idiots. Security told me to move from the door as he said I smelt. Completely rude. I do not recommend going. If I could give no stars I most definitely would.

A fabulous pub! Superb staff and a lovely location!

I had shrimp fish and chips and curry, but the curry was more delicious. In the UK, Indian curry is delicious, but fish and chips is too heavy for Japanese people. It gets very crowded after noon, so it's best to get there early. The beer was delicious. The restrooms are spacious, so you may want to rent just the restroom.

Tried to enter the premises on a Saturday night, 3 drunkern men were walking in front of us, and tried to access the pub. They were denied entry. Then, me and my party tried to enter, and we were also denied. My friend said "we aren't part of them (the drunk men)" and the bounder said "I don't care". But then he let two women walk in. When challenged, the bouncer said "They've been in before my friend" (clearly, he wasn't my friend). What a jobsworth. Went back next day, food wasn't great, but at least the jobsworth wasn't there.

Massively huge pub, right on the canal. Plenty of outside seating too. Probably gets super busy on the weekends, seeing as even a week day it was very popular with punters. This is Camden Town after all.

Usamos este pub como base mientras pasábamos tiempo en Camden y hacíamos un viaje en barco por el canal. Bonito pub espacioso con una zona de estar al aire libre peculiar decente justo al lado del canal y las cerraduras. ¡Útil para el baño! Limpie y el personal en la pelota en la recogida de vasos y mesas de limpieza. La comida y la bebida eran buenas y el servicio era rápido, aunque había una larga espera en el bar (intenta usar la aplicación) y el pub se pone muy ocupado. Es un Wetherspoons con todo lo que conlleva. Las bebidas son por supuesto baratas, especialmente para Londres y las ofertas combinadas de una bebida con la comida ofrecen un gran valor. Pagué tan poco como 2. 50 una pinta para Green King IPA que suele ser alrededor de 6. 00 en otros lugares de Londres hoy en día, aunque no era la mejor pinta que he tenido y parecía un poco "acuoso".

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Weatherspoon. I arrived just after 9 PM, only to be told that I couldn't enter. The staff were grumpy and seemed uneducated about basic customer service. To make matters worse, they refused to let me use the toilet, leaving me in a very uncomfortable situation. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and I hope they improve their policies and staff training in the future. --- Feel free to adjust it to better reflect your experience! Average place to eat a good selection of foods but I don't know how fresh everything is. Usually very busy in good weather has inside and outside seating to accommodate and aj array of drinks to choose from.

Ottimo luogo a Camden, si possono scegliere diversi tipi di piatti tra carne e pesce, ovviamente il classico Fish and chips, vi sono tanti altre pietanze. Offrono la possibilità di usufruire della promozione insieme alle bevande e devo dire che va assolutamente utilizzata. È aperto anche per la colazione.

Scam!!! I placed an order for the table I was sitting at. I paid but the order never arrived. I asked the cashier for explanations, showing the payment receipt but they replied that my order was not in their system. Pay at the cash desk. Not from the application.

It’s a typical wetherspoons which was bustling thanks to the sun! We had fish and chips with an alcholic drink and were not disappointed.

Great place right by Canal and Camden Lock. They do some great food on the menu. I had the Ramen bowl and was absolutely delicious.

I was visiting the Wetherspoon pub 24/072024 The Security was very rude. He asked us to go , not professional. I reported to the manager very bad service. I wouldn’t come back again. The Security was rude.

Giving one star as it won't allow me to give Zero. I am extremely disappointed as we regularly frequent this pub, and overlook the smell and rude staff, that are clearly not happy to be there. Some of the staff we encountered today completely ruined our Spoons experience and we will not be going back to this establishment ever, after being treated like criminals for wanting to purchase a couple glasses of Rose unbelievable!!! 🤣. We were targeted and dismissed multiple times in front of onlookers and were made to feel as if we had committed a crime by entering the building! The staff handled us very unprofessionally and I suggest they all need customer service training, even the manager was not very engaging, you usually know what to expect with spoons but this experience was disgusting. Not only were we not served after being served earlier in the day by the same manager checking our IDs. The staff were clearly talking and pointing at us and talking under their breath and being completely degrading towards us, we felt attacked and unheard and deeply frustrated by the incompetency disguised as 'following processes' the initial staff member should not be serving members of the public this is Discrimination Ridiculous!!!

Food was standard, albeit portions of fish and chips have become smaller, even though its the full portion. Service wise, the lady serving us was super nice and helpful when we needed a plaster and additionally a take away box. Thanks!
