This place is lovely to go and have a dine in..however the service was very poor. Food takes ages to come out and comes in instalments. Atmosphere is lovely As you can go as a group and like the interiors. Drinks are made to a perfection

If I could give no stars, I would. We came here as a group of four to celebrate New Year’s, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Service: The night started off poorly when our drinks order was completely forgotten. After waiting an hour, we flagged down a waiter, only to be told they hadn’t even started on our drinks. We re-ordered, and it still took another 30 minutes for them to arrive. By then, the celebration mood was already fading. Food: After an excruciating wait of over an hour, our food finally arrived. While the dishes were passable at best, the nightmare began later. Two out of four of us, including myself, fell severely ill with food poisoning. The lamb sheesh was the common factor, and it completely ruined not only our night but the days that followed. Atmosphere: The music was ridiculously loud, to the point where we couldn’t hear each other speak. Instead of an enjoyable dinner, it felt like shouting across a nightclub. Compensation: The only gesture we received was a £5 bottle of prosecco. While appreciated, it did nothing to make up for the long waits, mediocre food, ruined health, and wasted money. For the high price we paid, this was an unforgivable experience. The lack of basic service, the poor hygiene standards leading to food poisoning, and the unwelcoming atmosphere make it impossible for me to recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs, especially if you value your health and your time.

It is a beautiful venue and the atmosphere is amazing!. The food is great and the staff are amazing also. This is the best place I have been to. I thank all the staff for making my Christmas work party amazing.

I visited m kitchen on a Thursday girls night out with a group of friends. The food was absolutely delicious we had starters and I had lamb for main. Could not fault the service and the cocktails were banging.

Amazing food - had the sharing platter & was so much there we couldn't manage it all. Lovely wine & cocktails too. Could not fault the service received from staff but being slightly pricier than yoyr average restuarant would have preferred them to be more attentive as was not there at a busy peak time.

Our waiter was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and really added to the overall experience with her great service. The Food: A Journey of Flavors Now, let's talk about the food. We started with the bao buns, which were an absolute treat. Soft, fresh, and the fillings were piping hot. The accompanying sauce was perfectly balanced, with a subtle kick of chili pepper that elevated the entire dish. The salt and pepper squid was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The prawn tempura was nothing short of brilliant, light and crispy with a delicate, yet rich flavor. Moving onto the mains, the lamb chops were divine. So succulent and seasoned to perfection, they were cooked exactly as we requested—medium-rare—and each bite was just bursting with flavor. The grilled king prawns were equally impressive, smoked to perfection with a delicious depth of flavor, and paired beautifully with the sweet potato fries. The fries were cooked just right, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside—absolutely perfect! The Cocktails: To Die For Let’s not forget the cocktails! They were beyond amazing—crafted to perfection, each sip was a new level of delight that complemented the meal in the best possible way. The food was goooooood! We had the shrimp tempura to start and the Lamb chops and Seabass for mains. The meals were cooked to perfection and I can't wait to dine here again. It was almost their closing time but they graciously took our orders and the food came out quickly. We will visit again!

Came on Saturday for a date night with the Mrs and was looking at the menu and waiter came to see if we was ready and I told the waiter give us a couple of minutes and we will call you when ready and the waiter kept coming which made us feel pressured to order. The mains and starters were decent and ordered sides or Mac and cheese, rice and chips. The Mac and cheese was cold and hard and the rice did not appear to be fresh. For a £100 bill did not seem worth the hype so not sure if we will come again.

Well what a delicious platter I had yesterday! . It was my birthday and my son booked this lovely restaurant. The service was great, we had 2 for 1 cocktails. The lamb, chicken, wings were succulent, Food was served with a beautiful salad, then the DJ was rocking some oldies and I felt divine. Big up to the DJ you made my evening😀 Fabulous place, on my way out I did compliment the chef and waiters.

The cocktails were amazing. The ambience was good, too. I would have enjoyed it if it wasn't for the staff who strangely kept moving us around from one corner to another. The food quantity is extremely small.

Was one of the closest restaurants to the bowling alley nearby and sooooo glad it was and that we popped in here! Proper vibey restaurant with nice seating arrangements and decor! The DJ set was on point tonight too! Some decent old school RnB vibes to set the mood! Music ain’t loud but just loud enough, so don’t let that put you off! Cocktails are good! Very good! I tried the Angry bird! It was lush! Truss me!! Wasn’t feeling the cup it came in, BUT it was a very tasty cocktail! Back to the food!! Mad tasty! Mad! We (2 adults 1 12yr old) had a mixed starter for 2! Came with a juicy selection of meats, some rice, bulgur, bread and salad! Everything was cooked to perfection and was bang on point! Couldn’t fault anything! (Side note, they messed our order up a little and we received some beef on skewers by mistake, which they let us have for free anyway, BUT mateee! They were so good! Would’ve paid for them tbh 👀) we also got the wagyu beef sliders and some fries, which were amazing too and I would highly recommend! Just the right size to share….if you want! 😄 Can’t fault this place! Very good food! Really good ambience and vibe! Was a nice mix of clientele on my visit and the staff are professional, courteous and attentive! Go to this place if you find yourself in the area, and if you’re NOT in area then find yourself in the area! and visit them! 10/10 experience from start to finish! The lady on the phone made the booking process super easy, and dealt with my queries well. The food was excellent and the service from staff was equally as excellent. We had the mixed grill for 2 and it was delicious, hot and served in reasonable time! I came to the M Kitchen for their famous brunch. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait to book for the next one. Live DJs, sax player and dancers were all fab. Food is amazing, best chicken kebab I’ve ever eaten served with a lovely rainbow salad. Presentation was beautiful. Drinks were flowing and staff were very attentive couldn’t fault it at all. Will 100% be returning.

Visited the M restaurant for dinner last night and was really pleased overall. Food - starters (halloumi and honey, sigara borek and hummus) were excellent. Probably the best sigara borek I've ever had and I've eaten in some great restaurants in Turkey. Only slight downside was the bread provided with the hummus wasn't enough, but we just ordered some extra (which was charged at £2, but not a massive issue). Mains (lamb kofte and mixed grill) were excellent, very tender meat, spices really well. For dessert we had the chocolate fondant and the baklava with ice cream and it was incredible. Was just expecting a few small pieces of baklava but they brought one of those big filled slices of baklava so was pleasantly surprised. Service - Very pleasant waitress (forgot her name but said she's from Greece) who made sure we were happy with the food and brought over extra sauces etc. Overall a really good dining experience - yes it's on the pricier side of things but the quality of the food makes it decent value

I find it very difficult to believe that you’ve been to the M Kitchen and NOT had a good experience. The food is undeniably delicious and the service is friendly and prompt. The staff were attentive and took good care of us, replenishing drinks quickly and regularly checking in on us to make sure everything was good. All of the meat was cooked so nicely, succulent and packed with flavour. The starters were 10/10 as was the dessert too. I literally cannot fault this place and with the increasing cost being faced in the hospitality industry I still believe the M Kitchen is superb value for money. If you’re not happy with the food, it’s most likely that you’re the problem and not them.

Food was so bad, Mac and cheese was literally water and cheese, platter for 2 could barely feed one, burger buns are rough. Seabass was ok... I could go on. Our waitress was lovely though. The bill was soooo spenny. Never again, sorry

My experience at M Kitchen restaurant, was quite enjoyable. The food was delicious, with a variety of flavorful dishes that captured the essence of Turkish cuisine. The ambiance was pleasant, creating a cozy atmosphere for dining. However, I felt that the staff could have been slightly friendlier and more attentive to customer needs. Nonetheless, I would still recommend M Kitchen for its delicious food and inviting ambiance.

I ordered the chicken shish with a side of chips. The food arrived and it was oven cooked chips, 5 pieces of barely marinated chicken on top of a paper thin strip of flat bread… even the olives tasted like they were from a jar. I could have made a better meal at home. If you’re looking for a show for insta, with poor food quality, this is the place for you

Really tasty food(grill taste) and goes really well with the Efes draft beer. Downside - to dark, meniu is black, for people with poor eyes it is difficult to read. I definitely recommend, prices are good.

The grilled lamb melts in your mouth...beautifully seasoned..here ends the positive. I walked in and wondered who died ! Asked waitress to call manager in terms of the music...Xmas work do appropriate music....in response the volume was slightly increased. The waitresses worked efficiently but had a face on you reserved for the mother-in-law. Handling the menu made me feel I needed to wash my hands The setup lacks Cheer...hope management takes this on board just serving amazing food is part of the package.

I came here for my 21st birthday with high expectations as their social media portrays it to be a place for great food and good atmosphere. It’s a very pretty restaurant but nothing I haven’t seen in ever meze restaurant ever. Everything we ordered was over or undercooked cooked and the portions were small. The wagu sliders tasted nice but was over cooked & so was the pan friend prawns. Ordered a whole seabass and it came with 3 baby potato’s 1 tiny tomato and even that was over cooked. The lamb literally came out overcooked and charcoal black & was pretty much impossible to cut through & came with rock hard asparagus and undercooked broccoli and didn’t even receive a steak knife to cut the lamb with. Not even a side of rice, baby potatoes or chips with the lamb and was quite overpriced ! The chicken shish was good in flavour but over cooked, come with a small rainbow salad and the tiniest bit of flat bread ever and was very overpriced for what I received. I ordered chips and Mac & cheese as sides and the chips were steak cut oven chips that looked like they were from Iceland or something and were undercooked and had the cheek to try and charge almost £5 for a small bowl of them and the Mac and cheese tasted of just over cooked pasta and pasta water, no cheese whatsoever and had to send back can’t believe they were charging £7 for something so small and tasteless, was very tempted to send back the lamb chops too. The drinks were very watery and weak and the angry bird cocktail was just pure ice and way too sweet. The waiter was awful, she didn’t come over to check the food was okay once, was very unwelcoming, didn’t smile once, barely acknowledged we was there and the adult area we was sitting in was practically empty, just 1 other table being managed by another waiter & done her best to avoid having to come back over to our table even to take our plates! we had to wave her down every time we wanted or needed something. Overall not a great experience and won’t be returning, very disappointed.

Me and my friend had brunch yesterday (1 person drinking mocktails and 1 drinking alcohol). We enjoyed the atmosphere and food when we were there. However, we both woke up in the middle of the night with food poisoning! Will never be going back.

Food is nice but the staff... ABSOLUTELY unprofessional and rude. We waited 20 mins to have a server come over to take our order eventually I had to wave down the server to our table! Server was just very flat and rude.. I understand working on a weekend is a pain but at least act like you're getting paid to be there. Acting like everything we asked for was just an inconvenience. The table they gave us wasn't really clean and alot of food on the floor were we was sitting. Food came out quick which was good and tasted lovely. When it came to paying the bill.. again no one would come to us I had to wave someone down again to get our bill. This was a different server with the same flat and rude tone. If you're interested in rude service and middle of the range food this may be the place for you. I won't be coming again.

Good Ambiance, But a Few Missteps I found myself charmed by the restaurant's welcoming atmosphere and tasteful decor, although it's clear they're aiming to project a higher standard that isn't quite met yet. The mismatched cutlery was an early indicator that not all was as it appears. Upon arrival, the food portions were satisfying and palatable but somewhat marred by an unexpected and unpleasant surprise; a strand of hair in my rice. This was a first for me and it unfortunately soured the remainder of the meal. While they kindly offered a complimentary drink as a means of apology, it wasn't much of an olive branch, considering I'm not a frequent drinker. In keeping with their aspirational air of sophistication, the only available bottled water is VOSS at £3.40. While I understand that they're aiming for upscale, they're not quite there yet. It's unfortunate because their veneer of elegance detracts rather than adds to the overall experience. In short, it seems like this restaurant is trying to be "all fur coat, no knickers." They've got the style, but the substance has some catching up to do.

Awful awful awful experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE ! Read more about my horror experience below ! There was bones in our “boneless wings” dish, after trying to address this issue to staff we were rudely dismissed and told “why did you not tell us sooner” no attempt at resolution and no care seen to us during our meals to even have the opportunity to state the problem. We were lied to about kitchen closing times. And lastly the manager who’s name is sultre is quite frankly the worst person there, very rude and combative in nature when trying to address issues with him, it is as though he wanted to fight us at times when engaging with dialogue voicing our complaints with him. This was honestly the worst restaurant experience of my life, I can not think of anything worse and would not recommend this place to anyone unless there is a wholesale change in management, there was only one member of staff who treated us decently, it was a young mixed race girl, so we are great full to her for making us feel welcome. Everyone else treated us terribly. If I could give multiple negative reviews I would. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE

This was a first time visit and I was disgusted with the service at the M Kitchen, especially after travelling so far to come to the restaurant for my partner’s birthday. I’d asked to move our booking to 9pm and was told this was not possible as the kitchen closes at 9pm, however there were numerous people arriving and being seated after 9.15pm. We then ordered boneless chicken wings as a starter which was nice however had numerous bones in it. When simply informing the waitress that it had bones in it, she responded coldly “well you should have told me earlier”. We informed her that there was no one around to inform as we weren’t checked on at all during the service and also that we were simply informing her so that they were aware for next time, to which she walked away. We then ordered a platter for 2, which we were told that we couldn’t amend any of the meats that was included, which we understood. However when the platter arrived, the portion size was unbelievable. In particular, the size of the ribs was shocking as they were completely 2 ends of the spectrum. We called one of the staff members to inform him of this to which he rudely told us “do you expect all ribs to be the same size?” I explained to him that this was not the case, however it is ridiculous to be provided with a tiny bone with no meat and a large rib, especially as it was a sharing platter. He continued to go back and forth with me, and then walked away, with no apology. I later found that this was the manager of the restaurant who was speaking to us in this disgusting manner (I believe his name was Sultiri). A lovely waitress (I’m not sure of her name but she was mixed-raced) did check on us and offer us a complimentary drink following the awful service received by the manager and also the other waitress. I’d also asked for a desert to be brought out for my partner’s birthday and nobody tried to inform me that this was not possible. Not only was this an awful experience at The M Kitchen, it was a waste of a drive from Kent and completely ruined my partner’s birthday. We didn’t receive a single apology from the rude staff member or the poorly trained manager who was there at the end of the evening. Unless you’re looking for somewhere with appalling customer service and mediocre food, I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Nice restaurant with awesome service and awesome atmosphere.

The food was good and the staff were friendly. I attended in the afternoon for a bottomless brunch. I'm a bit disappointed that we had to constantly ask for a top-up as most brunches do it before the glass is empty. We asked for another bottle of prosecco after the brunch as we was enjoying the music, but it never came, so we left.

My friend and I went here on Sunday, once seated we were served by a beautiful waitron by the name of Mia. She was so attentive, polite and gave us her honest and unbiased opinion on food selections. We didn't have to wait long after courses because she catered to our every need in a timely and professional manner. The drinks were delicious especially the Pina Colada and the Frozen Daquiri. Mmmm. The food was was well seasoned and packed with flavour, the meats were very tender and moist, not dry or tough like some places. Portions were very good and I was busted after the starters so by the time the main Course came it was really over for me.. The hospitality from the Manager was very nice. Our evening was made really enjoyable by Mia. When the food is excellent and the service over exceeds your expectations, well I needed to share my experience because I will be revisiting :) So if you want to dine somewhere where the food is amazing, drinks are the one, that leaves you feeling as though you really had a wondrous experience then definitely book The Meze it ticked all the boxes which is becoming very rare nowadays. Good location to celebrate a birthday, etc. The terrace area is comfy, and "Instagram ready" cocktails look amazing but not very strong. The food was OK, you have limited time in the terrace area, the staff wait around watching like hawks. If you're going for a date night and want some privacy, maybe consider a table in front of the restaurant

This review is based on a single visit. Drinks: The restaurant has very limited drink options so if you plan on having drinks after your meal, this might not be the place for you. Music: I and my partner sat in the main restaurant and it was devoid of music so gave the ambience zero soul. Definitely would benefit from some low, soulful music to jazz up the atmosphere. Food: the food itself was great, the taste was divine. Totally enjoyed that. The only minus is the food portion is unreasonably small rather spruced with salad to make it appear quantifiable. There is parking around from what I deciphered so you can drive down. PS: I hear there might be a more fun section down stairs.

Haven't been to a Turkish Restaurant before, so we asked the beautiful waiter for help, glad to say her recommendation was FANTASTIC, succulent lamb, chicken, ribs, all grilled, two different portions of delicious rice, salad and not forgotten the spicy drink with kiwi fruit, mm mm, mi throat is high fiving with thumbs up, we had a lovely delicious dinner 👍🏿

Amazing aesthetics, unnecessarily expensive for the area. The food is okay and it’s more about aesthetics, rather than quality. Cocktails are amazing doe, try the phone box, if you decide to visit. Update! It’s fair to raise your price to match the market prices, however you need to do that with quality too.

We came on Friday just gone a group of four. food we ordered Red velvet prawns - I didn’t know what to expected but meh these were okay the sauce that came with them was the best part that was so nice & The Calamari (this was really nice!) We then ordered the platter for 4 that was nice the kofte wow out of this world so soft & flavourful Tbh I wish I ordered that for myself 🤣 the chops were really well cooked and the chicken was very soft and tender. The bread was yummy too. In fact probably the best white rice I’ve had from a restaurant too even the bulgar was really good. I then had the passion fruit cheesecake it was nice wasn’t anything amazing but was tasty and everything was well presented We had the phone box 10/10 Pina colda 10/10 & Pop smoke 10/10 really good for aesthetics too. Great sizes worth the money 100% The shisha meh we waited 25/30 mins for it and it just tasted like air - there was no smoke coming from it and by the time we got it we was ready to leave soon as we had other plans so we asked for them to take it off the bill which they did. The waitress suggested maybe the pipe was broken and if we wanted it changed but by that point we was over it. So yeah it was kindly removed with no issues. The service wasn’t the best you was waiting around for while to be able to grab someone I feel they should have a staff member that doesn’t leave that area so customers always have someone around plently of times we was looking around for staff (I do accept they were busy ) i had to ask 3 different people for a dessert menu so ended up being a long time to wait for a menu… The staff was polite though and nice. Really like the man that opens and closes the door for you. It’s a great start to your experience he was also very cheerful and polite. I didn’t catch the waitress’s name but she has curly brown hair with blonde highlights she was lovely too! I would defo come back for food and drinks without expecting top service oh yeah the music was really good too!

What a disappointing experience. The waiters seated us and took our order in a timely manner initially. We were given our drinks but had to wait a good 20 mins after that for the starter which was minuscule ( chicken wings - although McDonalds nuggets are bigger) then we ordered our main which didn't take too long to come however the plates were just placed in front of us without asking who had ordered what beforehand. After that we had forgotten. Were both slow eaters and even after eating our main which lacked flavour we had to wait a good 15/20 mins to get someone's attention. I asked to see the dessert menu which was provided and then we were forgotten!!! We counted 4 new customers walk in and be seated ( at different times) have their order taken and food served to them before anyone came to take our order. After that we simply asked for the bill and left. Appalling service and most certainly overpriced. Wouldn't go back despite the cocktails being good.

Average food with average service. I wouldn’t come here for a special occasion but for a standard night out with the girls it’s ‘okay’ not good but okay. I got the Wagyu sliders, calamari and chips. I’m doubtful the beef was genuinely wagyu, I’ve had lots of wagyu meat and this was very dry and tasted like standard beef. The chips were dry and starchy and the calamari was bland and basic. However, the presentation was very good. The waiter forgot the water and sauce had to remind her twice, they were nice and welcoming though. I also got the ‘pop smoke’ cocktail which was yummy and creative. Overall, it wasn’t bad but I’ve had a better quality dining experience. Not in a rush to go back but also would go back.

Great customer service from Derin, he attended to us with patience. He met all our needs and didn’t complain when we had requests. Food was nice too.

London dining , Kent post code! Amazing food cocktails and the restaurant itself is stunning plus all the staff are all so nice! Must have are the lamb chops with chimi churi sauce ! I’d normally associate with having with a steak but complimented the lamb beautifully! Other must have items on the menu are the red velvet prawns! Absolute 10/10

I had an amazing night at the M Kitchen, the food was outstanding, the best mezze I've had. The music was really nice. All the staff were wonderful and I have to say Nico is the best host I've ever come across. Thank you for making my birthday so special! I'll be back. :)

Brilliant saxophonist and drummer who could barely be heard due to the overwhelmingly Loud background noise of so called music - I hate to ponder how many decibels! Not the type of background ambience to enjoy a meal. We could not hear each other even if we shouted. Astounded to have my glass being exchanged for a plastic cup. At £50 per head food was just mediocre. I left the place with a terrible ear ache and ringing in my ears. I do not recommend this place unless you like to get happy on the bottomless prosecco! The stars are for the saxophonist.

Best mixed grill I’ve ever had. Meat was cooked to perfection and the flavours were incredible. Good prices and delicious cocktails. Service was good too

Me and my two friend came to a brunch today! We was served by a young women called Mia. It was her first day and honestly it was the most welcoming, lovely girl I’ve ever been served by in the M kitchen bare in my it was her first day. Thank you for a lovely time x

Had the best time last night !!! The food and service was amazing!!! The music and atmosphere was on point. The hardest thing was trying to choose what to have ,as the menu has such a great selection. I love that its just not the normal standard kebab. There is something for everyone. I had the calamari to start ,and the King prawns for mains. They are like mini lobsters, probably the best prawns i have ever had. My partner had the sliders,and Lamb shish. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the chilli sauce was banging!!! Thank you so much guys. Cannot wait to come back .

Food was fantastic, well presented and tasty. Menu limited though, but allows to serve good food I suppose. Very expensive though for what it is. Staff unattentive we kept having to raise an arm to get another drink. There are better establishments in the area....

Had such a bad experience Firstly the food was salty and tasted horrible, The cocktails were ok. The service was poor and the staff are really rude. We were attacked by another party celebrating their birthday there also to which the staff stole my sister's phone and bag then fraudulently charged £500 to her bank card (which the bank has now refunded). It's clear some of the nice reviews here are fake and I'm not surprised about how rude the responses have been to the real reviews as that is exactly how the staff behaved.

we had a meal here yesterday our family christmas meal we was so disappointed, the food was tasteless the service was non insistent no customer skills whatsoever we waited for drinks wasn't asked if all was ok the food was awful very bland and the bill was what we would pay to eat in the west end, and to top it all they charged us £29 service charge without our permission we didn't realise until we returned home, we definitely will not be returning to the M kitchen and will not be recommending to anybody else either definitely not recommended

Food is extremely vile. It only looks nice to photograph but not to taste. Cocktails are ok but not worth the price. Service is very slow, staff are rude and stole a bag and phone from the birthday girl whilst we were being attacked by another party and therefore we were distracted. Find my iPhone showed the phone was still in the venue after all guest left but staff denied this. Staff informed the bag had been recovered over the phone but when we went to pick up the bag we were informed the bag was not found. So why was find my iPhone showing the phone is in the venue? They refused to give access to cctv. Honestly we travelled from far and the food was not worth the hustle at all, it’s disgusting to say the least. I am unsure the people providing these positive reviews because it’s honestly not a true reflection. I have realised that the manager comments on all negative reviews with a defence. Sort out the issues, get a better chief. Take the feedback on board and do something about it. Don’t let the pictures deceive you! No you refused we turned up to view the cctv stop lying. Please read through all the negative reviews and you judge for yourself. This is honest review. Kudos to you and your vile food! Can you justify the vile salty food and salad? Like I said your cocktails were ok. Why do you seem so defensive responding to all the reviews though? If you are thinking of booking please take your time and read all the reviews along with the response from the restaurant. A lot of the reviews point out similar issues I have highlighted above. Better still do yourself a favour and book else where
