Not my choice of venue. No real ale only cold beers on tap. Limited choice of wine available.

Love the blackboard full of cask & keg beers. Often hard to choose just one! Great place for a quiet, chilled beer

Went to pub paid £5.40on car park then on door said closed 5 to 9 private function no food they order beer from small brewery then let them down will not be going back

Down to 4 real ales but several crafty keg stuff!

Called up twice to book and then confirm booking respectively. Each time told it was all good. Turned up to be told the kitchen was closed, and asked if we were sure we called the right place (we did). Did not receive any correspondence about the closed kitchen. Wouldnt have been an issue ordinarily but as the NR3 beer mile was on booking an alternative was not possible. A nice evening ruined 🤘

When we visited they had just had a mad 2 hours and had a massive backlog of glasses as there is a pub mile promotion on. The barman was apologetic that I had to wait a little longer than I would have liked, but he was pleasant.and the prices were reasonable. The toilets were a 5/10, functional but unloved.

A quaint pub with a great selection of ale, cider & spirits. The atmosphere was amazing. Staff are very friendly & helpful. Would definately visit again.

Fantastic pub with a great atmosphere

A very cosy, independent and owner-run craft beer pub. The owner is a very knowledgeable about his beers and knows everything he sells really well. Ask him for preferences and he does not disappoint. The prices are really fair, even for the more obscure stuff hidden in the fridges behind the bar. There's a good selection of non-beer options and also some fun crafty non-alcoholic beers. It's not super central, but only a few minutes down the road from the centre, so definitely worth a visit.

Great place if you like an interesting selection of beers in friendly atmosphere. Good patrons and a very knowledgeable pub landlord.

Visited today and loved the great selection of alcohol-free beers among their normal beers. They have a nice and interesting list of pizzas, including a really varied vegan and vegetarian range. Pizzas were tasty, with a nice thin crust. Cosy vibes, nice staff, I'll hopefully be back to try the other pizzas ✨

We first came here in 2015 for the City of Ale Trail and thought it was good. So, we returned yesterday after a nearly nine year absence and had two really good beers (mine was the Harewood Porter). If I lived in Norfolk I would be a regular here.

Came with mates - this place used to be great, we came for some food and yet again they closed the kitchen at a different time to their menu. So left disappointed. This place is sadly going downhill 😩

This the latest of several visits to a great pub. We sampled the excellent pizzas which were amazing and not expensive. The pub has a great atmosphere and and feels like a friendly local with lots of couples and groups enjoying an after work beer and chat. The interior is just what i look for in a pub....not messed about! The management obviously take great pride in providing a terrific range of beers. We enjoyed the whole evening and will definitely be returning.

Great little backstreet boozer with a stunning selection of beers on both cask and keg. Welcoming feel and atmosphere, quite enjoyed stopping here for some imbibing. Worth the walk out of the city centre if you’re into your beers

What a place to meet lovely people. One of the best pubs in Norwich, amazing selection of beers, and amazing and friendly staff. Coming back once a week now.

If you are looking for a pub with a range of beers that are out of the ordinary then this is for you. A constantly changing range, there is sure to be something to suit your taste. Combine this with food which ranges from snacks to full meals and daily specials and you have a good combination. Not the biggest pub in Norwich, it can get very busy at times, but it is well worth a visit.

Amazing. They keep an excellent pint of mild, apart from other beers. Pizzas are lush. I will be going there again and again. Brilliant. Thank you.

Another pub on my City of Ale trail and a nice pub to visit as been back a couple of times now and Linky the Landlord was very friendly very chatty if he's not busy i definitely go back if i was that side of the City.

Revision * used to love this pub but under new management its gone down hill. Its always dead the beer selection is terribke used to be joe behind the bar knowing all the best beers to get. Lacks atmosphere and its quite sad

Yeh, I really liked it in there. Warm atmosphere, warm friendly staff, good beer - what more is needed.

Good drinks on tap, friendly bartender. usually a fair few people in there but quite chilled out and quiet. good pub to have a chat in.

We went here today on my first trip to Norwich, following my partner who went to uni here. Lovely pub with a great craft beer selection and the manager, Linky, was a wonderful person to have a chat to. We both felt so welcome here and can’t wait to return here. Highly recommend to anyone who lives here or is just visiting!

Ah, a proper pub with proper ale and lager. Exactly what you'd expect from a 'pub'. If you want a conversation sit at the bar, or else sit at a table. But the service and quality of drink is guaranteed regardless!

Norwich, City of ale trails, home of Fat Cats and their kittens, and an almost hardly noticeable snobbery about pubs a certain side of the river (postcodes don't seem to count), has possibly bigged this pub up, or maybe not. For anyone who wants to reminisce about proper back street boozers with the finest of beer, an even finer welcome & a comfy seat to park yer ar.e, track it down.10/10

What a lovely little place. I feel settled in Norwich now and after some rather strange experiences in Norfolk drinkeries I have to say I've never had a bad one in here. Some lovely booze to be had in here, I'm not much of a beer drinker but I saw a lad with a nice chocolatey stout and what can I say, that guy was a pusher, gard daaamn, the pusher. Claimed he was a doctor, that guy was no doctor! So yeah, I had a few of them, can't remember much of the walk home, apparently they were about 10.5% but I had a good time. Great beer, nice staff, perfect place to watch a mid winter world cup..

Very friendly staff and I'm always made to feel welcome when I walk in. I know gluten free and vegan beers are very popular but it would be nice to have a couple of 'standard' type beers so I can enjoy taking my wife there again, Amstel or Beck's lager, that type of thing, keep up the good work!

Nice boozer that has a good selection of beers. It’s a nice cosy place that has a wood burner for when it’s getting chilly. If you are in this part of Norwich its worth popping in but not really worth leaving the city to visit especially.

Great food, even better beer. Real ale, of course. And you will only find excellent services here. A welcoming place no matter if you are here to drink, eat, read, watch sport events or partake the pub quiz which runs every Monday at 8pm.

Popped in with friends for a pre meal beer the pub has changed a lot over the years, it used to be quite dark with various objects and curios hanging from the ceiling and No Music, now music plays unobtrusively in the background, walls and ceilings are uncluttered and bright, the beer of course is kept well

I took my Ukrainian guests to sample this English pub. They were very impressed, especially with the pizza. We will definitely go again soon.

Very welcoming staff to Black /POC customers, no discrimination. Treated as everyone else, no weird stares etc including friendly punters. The Plasterers had a lovely atmosphere, good food, football, good vibes and will be back. Range of ages from young to mature. Lovely pub.

Despite not being our closest pub, we love to consider this our local. Always a great selection of beer, with new and interesting things to try for a variety of tastes. And the pizza is a tasty added bonus.
