The Tea Junction in Norwich

Absolutely love this place! Wonderful range of both flavoured and unflavoured coffees, friendly staff, and super-fast delivery. I'm not a tea drinker but I've heards their tea is pretty good as well.

Fantastic range of coffee and tea (as well as all the accessories you could possibly need for them). The guy here is lovely and very helpful, as well as I was able to have a laugh with him over the fact I was cheeky by asking for help involving coffee from a rival place in Norwich. I recommend popping in here if you want something different and a pleasant experience. Thank you for your help :)

We had the misfortune to call in at this establishment for 2 cappuccino, it was put on the table and the waitress went away, we tried our coffees. it was like drinking hot milky water, absolutely no taste, it was as though they had missed putting the coffee in !!!!!! I went back into the cafe and told the staff that we could not drink the coffee they had served us as it was tasteless and the worst coffee we had ever had.

The Tea Junction is a must-visit for us whenever we’ve been in Norwich over the years (we live in Cardiff). The choice of loose leaf teas is excellent. If I had to pick a favourite it would be the baked apple sencha green tea, just lovely! It’s also helpful that they sell a good choice of decaffeinated teas, I’ve tried them all and they’re all nice if you’re cutting down on caffeine. There’s also a wide choice of coffees and one of us is a big fan of the City of Norwich blend. The shop sells tea and coffee-ware too. We’ve ordered online and have always had our tea and coffee delivered promptly and well packaged. I’m happy to recommend the Tea Junction (whether in person) to all tea and coffee drinkers.

When I come to Norwitch, I love visiting the tea junction for a coffee. Great selection to choose from. If I like it I buy a bag. They grind it for you to your requirements (in my case a V60). Great customer service experience. Friendly staff, always happy to give advice and recommendations:) 5 star!

A gem of a shop. Fantastic selection of roasted and flavoured coffee beans.

First time ever going into store and we were surprised how much variety items. Some valentine day gifts ready for next month. Also some gift boxes so your able to make your own gift set up. Will definitely be back soon 😀

The Best Coffee! Moved to London years ago and Tea Junction is still my number one place for coffee. Taste is fantastic, they always post it quickly and packed really well. We love them!

I like to taste the coffee not the water. Coffee in mug is not coffee to me. I purchased the Mexican guest coffee, but had to return it. Tasteless in a mug too much water, cup was better. Disappointed! I hope the Colombian regular and supremo I purchased live up to expectations.

I love this shop! I have purchased lots of my teas (from my ever expanding tea collection) from here. The staff kindly helped us find a pot of coffee when we were unsure of what to get, we aren’t coffee drinkers but needed to get some for visitors! Such a huge variety of teas, and loose leaf, I love it - even if my purse doesn’t.

Amazing tea with amazing service! The guys here are are really helpful and can taylor your tea to what you like. The tea is fresh and beautiful. I highly recommend anyone who loves fresh tea and coffee to shop here! ☺️

This is a lovely establishment! We shopped here before lockdowns began, as they had a wide range of products and knowledge. We continued to shop online here when we couldn't get to store. Online ordering was easy but if I needed assistance, which I did one time, I called the store and they responded. Very helpful and friendly and love all the variety. Highly recommended 🌟

Love this place. Often go here for some great coffee beans of which they have a marvellous selection. Sometime stop and have cup of coffee and a piece pf cake. All delicious. Well worth a visit.

Lovely place to get a good cup of tea

I love this shop. It is an essential stop off on my 500 mile round trip to Norwich although I am looking forward to the new website and tea by post. There are so many interesting teas and something for everyone. Norfolk Blend is my daily standard. I have just opened and brewed Chocolate Cream Truffle Tea. Yummy yummy yummy. The smell is divine. You can experience chocolate without the calories. We know who the big tea retailers are on the High Street but it's really important to support small local businesses so give it a go.

So many teas to try so I had a coffee instead!

The coffee they ground was to coarse to be used in my machine making my drink acidic and horrible the coffee doesn't have a roasted on or even a bbe date on them meaning they could be years out of date and you wouldn't know however the staff are freindly

Poor service, rude owner, dirty tea strainer, filthy tables and chairs, foul tasting hot chocolate, we were refused refunds, will never use you again! This couple are clearly not suited to running a café, please take our advice, avoid like the plague!

I love this independant tea shop, its lovely, i always come to buy gifts for people especially the Norfolk Brew is so nice to give as a gift. They have a little cafe inside also which is very quaint and nice.

Beautiful shop with lots to choose from. Unfortunately some of the isle where not wide enough in one direct for wheelchairs to go down so had to go another way. It did mean we saw more

I absolutely love this place and the range of delicious coffees they have on offer. I recently purchased a raspberry ripple coffee and wow! It’s so good! The staff are always so lovely and welcoming and it’s service with a smile. Support this local business,you won’t be disappointed.

As a long time regular customer I’ve always been very happy with the product here. However I’d never had an issue that needed resolving so thought excellent all round…. Until a problem. Since lockdown I've ordered online for delivery, always the same, a very distinctive vanilla hazelnut blend, my favourite and I have several a day. The wrong item was sent out, clearly different, much darker and no vanilla or hazelnut to smell anywhere. No problem I thought, I’ll email and see about swapping. The response I received was horrendous. Basically stated they don’t make mistakes and I must be in error, the tone was very flippant and quite frankly offensive. Bearing in mind it’s a very distinctive coffee I felt pretty aggrieved at this, I responded as such and queried if they would like to lose a customer and the good will recommendations I’ve always provided to people, or try again to resolve it properly? He (Johnathan his name was) declined to resolve adequately and again flippantly stated they don’t make mistakes but I should bring in the coffee and they could check it…. As this would cost me money in fuel and parking they’ve lost a customer. I now buy online elsewhere and for equally good quality vanilla hazelnut gourmet coffee delivered for free at 19.90 for a kg. Much better value and I strongly recommend people doing the same as this place is clearly only interested in money and customer service is only good when spending there!!!! Very disappointed!!

Super service, so pleased to be able to get lavender tea - lady had to make it up as they had run out. Very polite and apologetic about the issues with the card machine.

La visita empezó bien, un agradable miembro del personal fue paciente mientras yo elegía un café con leche con toffee (no puedo beber café fuerte porque me da dolores de cabeza) y un pastel de zanahoria para mi marido. Cuando llegaron las bebidas, noté que mi café no era un café con leche sino un americano. Siendo abogado soy muy consciente de la diferencia. Mi esposo me devolvió la bebida y me dijeron que eso era lo fuerte que debía ser. Añadieron un insulto a la herida simplemente rellenando mi toffee americano con leche. Obviamente, esto no hace ninguna diferencia. Por lo tanto, tuve que dejar mi café que había pagado cuando obviamente fue un error del personal que se negaron a rectificar. Definitivamente no regresaré.

Brilliant. I love this store. Many a flavoured coffee kept me awake when I was studying at college and I remember a friend looking after my coffee in the boot of her car and when we opened it the smell of orange flavoured coffee was heavenly. The Tea Junction customer service was absolutely fantastic throughout the Covid-19 lockdown. The store was closed so I sent in an online order via their website. The order arrived on my doorstep the very next day. It was such a wonderful service and their Gourmet Flavoured coffees provided a much loved treat at at time when we couldn't leave the house. I tended to prefer the nuttier flavours. My favourites have been 'Totally Nuts' and 'French Vanilla'.

Great selection of teas, friendly staff and excellent service. I made use of their postal service. I placed my order over the phone which made it super quick and easy. Super speedy delivery. Ordered online in the evening and received a delivery the very next day with just a minimum order of £10. Coffee available in beans too, so that you can grind fresh coffee at home. I bought Orange Truffle coffee because I love this flavour, but also ordered some flavours that I have not tried before in smaller amounts. £2.99 is brilliant for 100g of coffee beans. It can cost almost that for one cup of coffee from chain coffee stores. The range of flavoured and blended coffee is considerable. It took us a while to decide which new flavours to try. We were spoilt for choice.

This was my first time visiting with my friend, who went in just to get some coffee flavourings and ended up leaving with a special promo tea, fresh blended coffee, the coffee flavourings and a cafeteria, whilst being served by very friendly member of staff. Amazing service and lovely atmosphere,would highly recommend!

Everything you need for a good coffee and tea

Great shop, excellent quality! But please make the tea labels more uniform. Sometimes it tells you the amount thats inside, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it tells you what kinds of tea and herbs/fruit is mixed inside, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it tells you infusion times, sometimes it doesn't. And if a bag just says "lavender tea", I expected it to be mostly lavender, if not just lavender. Not black tea with a hint of lavender? Description would have been nice.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. My partner loved the cakes and all very good value for money. You can sit outside in the shopping mall which is handy.

One of the best tea shops I've ever been to. It may not be much to look at from the outside but don't be fooled - with the range of drinks avalible you'll be spoiled for choice. Staff are really friendly too. There is an incredible range of loose tea and ground coffee available in store that you can either has as a hot drink there, or buy to take home. I find a new favourite flavoured coffee every time I go in!

Fantastic coffee and tea shop with a great variety of aromatic coffees and teas. It is also great to buy gifts for and occasion with low prices. I would definitely recommend it for buying and for going and sit for a coffee and viewing the whole floor from where it is located.

In a poor shopping centre in need of some investment lies a hidden gem that really know their quality coffee. Top tip: grab a take away and go up the escalator to sip away as whilst overlooking Norwich castle. Enjoy!

Some of the nicest coffee I have ever tasted. They are very knowledgable and happy to help you find something to your own personal taste... and to be fair the price you pay ain't that bad either!

I didn’t feel like they really wanted to serve me with ground coffee. The level of help just was nor there. More interested in who was drinking at the tables and leaving tips.

I've always liked The Tea Junction when I lived in Norwich - friendly and knowledgeable. I've moved and sadly cant get there as much as I'd like - but their online service is also great! The website isnt the most polished, but when I contacted with a query I got a quick response & my Totally Nuts coffee (which is fantastic) arrived a couple of days later with no issue.

Nice place to sit and chill. A fab place to people watch. Can be noisy at times. Lovely drinks and food. Staff are nice.

I really love this shop in Castle Meadow. I get all my coffee beans from here. Very friendly staff and always happy to let you smell the different flavour beans. So far have tried 6 different but my favourite has to be Amaretto beans.

Thoroughly enjoy my visits to the tea junction. they have an excellent selection of teas as well as different flavoured coffee beans which you can buy ground or in bean form. there is also a good selection of tea & coffee accessories. there is plenty of choice and it is always well stocked. i much prefer to take my custom here rather than the corporate chains. the hot beverages are much cheaper than starbucks & costa and it is not as hectic and noisy either. i advise anyone who enjoys tea & coffee to come and support this café as you are always made to feel welcome.

If you like coffee and/or tea, this is the place to go! I was introduced to the nuances and differences in coffees of the world about 5 years ago, when talking to the owner. Since then have bought coffee from them from afar and experimented with many types. It was great to visit them again at the end of 2018 and talk to the knowledgeable staff. Came away with many bags of superb coffee! You can try it before you buy too! Very highly recommended.

It's a bit hidden away on the second floor of the Castle Mall, but it's been a mainstay of the Mall for as long as I can remember, and long may that continue. As you'd expect, they stock an excellent range of teas and coffees, as well as tea and coffee related paraphernalia and gifts. It's also a nice place to stop for a drink and a snack in the middle of a shopping trip, with a smattering of tables located outside the store.
