Great pub. Shane was a great barman. Steak and ale pie were brilliant. Also recommend the burger.

Nice people, food is good however there tends to be a long wait for the food. It must be remembered to register your car when parking or you will get a ticket. There are vegetarian options and also alcohol free beverages.

Great place to come with the family. Gated off garden and car park. Couple bands on now and again and a quiz night - plus lunch deals. Perfect pub.

We recently celebrated a very special occasion at this restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience. From the very beginning, the team showed incredible flexibility, allowing us to put up our own decorations and create the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Their openness and support truly set the tone for the evening. The staff went above and beyond to make the night memorable, attending to every detail with warmth and professionalism. We ordered the festive gold buffet for our group of roughly 40 people. The food was excellent – fresh, flavorful, and well presented. Everyone at our event was very pleased with the quality and variety of the dishes. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our celebration. Thank you to the entire team for making this milestone event truly special. We will definitely be back!

Love this local and friendly pub. Staff are always so welcoming, particularly accommodating of young families! Good pub food, warm vibes and great service - a favourite. Particular shout out to Shane - stellar service!

I haven't been into the Plough for a while despite living locally but was pleasantly surprised to find it a very jolly, convivial and Christmassy atmosphere and Charlie, the barmaid served me the best guinness this side of Tipperary. I shall be returning soon!

It was my birthday from the initial booking all staff were fantastic helpful and polite On the day Shane made our visit exceptional he was happy bright attentive he made the experience one to remember he assisted in taking pictures of our group and kindly brought out our cake to slice the entire afternoon into evening was very enjoyable we didn’t want to leave we have been many times and we will certainly be bank. It could be an idea to add a few nibble selections e.g wings, breaded mushrooms, white bait pork scratchings just a thought the linguine with seafood is superb Thank you for a grand day .

What a wonderful first Christmas gathering with friends. The food was plentyful and wonderful. Xmas menu had a good choice. The belly of pork was delicious 😋. Only one thing I would have liked was Christmas pudding, sadly not on the menu. Between our group we had all the deserts, again which were delicious. Service was great. Would highly recommend booking. A big thank you to Sam and his staff.

The Plough in Dulwich is a big open plan pub serving a variety of keg beers and ciders. There is a restauranty feeling to the place and plenty of people seem to be enjoying their food - the Festive Specials look tempting - Great service and a busy dynamic atmosphere. Good place to enjoy.

Came here for the first of many Christmas get togethers, the food was amazing, the portion sizes were great and I was beat at my pudding and couldn’t finish it

Fuimos a por algo de comida y chocolates calientes el 19 de noviembre (este martes) y tuvimos un tiempo tan agradable. Estúpidamente olvidamos nuestras gafas pero nuestra encantadora camarera (que olvidamos preguntar el nombre de pero tenía el pelo rubio! ) nos leyó todo el menú. Gracias al equipo de trabajo - tuvimos una comida deliciosa y sin duda volveremos!

We came late for Sunday lunch and were pleased to find it was still being served in the evening. There was a pleasant ambiance, the staff were helpful and personable, the cider was good and above all the roast dinner was excellent, the best we've had in East Dulwich in quite some time. We'll definitely come again.

We had a fantastic lunch with plenty of Sunday roast. Our waitress Mimi was lovely and very efficient. Would recommend the sharing roast.

Waited for our food for an hour, didn’t get it in the end, no communication, staff was unable to explain what happened and whether they even had the order. No one from the management was around to handle the situation either. The atmosphere is nice though, the space is actually really lovely.

Went to the Plough in Dulwich last Dunday for lunch with my grandkids and friends. We had a lovely meal- all very happy with it. The kids menu is great too! Ideal for a good family Sunday lunch. The staff are really lovely and friendly. We were served by Emma and nothing we needed was too much. An overall great experience! Thank you

We go here almost every week! We love it here! We always have a wonderful dining experience, both in terms of the food and the ambiance. Starters: some of our favourites include the Halloumi Fries, which are perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, paired with a spicy chipotle chilli jam which adds just the right amount of kick. The Calamari is tender, with a light, crispy coating, complemented by a flavourful saffron aioli and the crispy chicken strips are just gorgeous! Mains: I think we have tried almost every main on the menu, the Fish and Chips are always beautifully cooked and tasty, I also really enjoy the King Prawn & Devon crab linguine, it’s just delicious. On this occasion we went with the Steak Pie, which was rich and hearty, wrapped in flaky pastry accompanied by creamy mash, which was just divine. The Smoky Burger was deliciously indulgent and filling. Desserts: We couldn't resist the desserts. The Triple Chocolate Brownie, served with vanilla ice cream was delectable! It just melts in your mouth! The Apple, Plum & Damson Crumble, paired with vanilla crème anglaise, was unavailable so went with the gooseberry version, this I didn’t really like, but was offered a different desert in place of it. It just wasn’t to my taste, a little too torte for my palate. The ambience of The Plough is cozy and welcoming, with a warm, rustic charm that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of throughout the meal without being intrusive. Their service added to the overall relaxed and pleasant dining experience. I have a tried a few of the cocktails, all very well made. My favourite is the Mojito, which I always ask for to be made on the sweet side. Otherwise I’m happy with a Rekordilig, which is reasonably priced. With a great menu, lovely atmosphere, and attentive staff, The Plough is definitely my go to place for all occasions.

Currently, I go to the Plough to play chess on Monday evenings. Very accommodating and helpful staff. I recently had a good chilli chicken and chips .

Fantastic roast! Genuinely one of the best we have had in London. We went for the sharing roast and the only thing we thought was that it was described as coming with stuffing and pigs in blankets. We only got one pig in blanket it would have been nice to have a few! And same with the stuffing, just a little more as it was a sharing platter!

Awful service. No one approached us to tell us we had to order at the bar for 20mins. Then as we wait another 10mins at the bar they said the kitchen was closed. We had to leave.

Went here with my family. I used to live in Peckham and came here with my dad around 20 years ago and pleased to say its still a fantastic pub. Food was lovely and shout out to the head chef who brought out some strawberries for my 2yr old.

We held my late Husbands funeral reception at The Plough. Having held a funeral reception here before, we were so pleased with the service we didn’t hesitate to book The Plough again. The service was again outstanding as well as the Gold Buffet menu. Nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely lovely staff who didn’t hesitate to direct me towards the sharing plates deal which was paired perfectly with a scrumptious ipa. The service was quick and I couldn’t fault the attentive staff who were checking how the drinks and food were. Will definitely be back with the Mrs.

Strange welcome. I smiled and asked the barman how he was… nothing.

I can't put you off more from going, especially if you have events. The lack of courtesy shown was incredible. Having arrived at the pub on a booking for 1:30, we were met with the waitresses giggling in their corner of the pub, we wondered over and was shown are seat. Nobody came over to ask for drinks or to relay specials, or to state if there would be a delay for any reason. Such as maybe the chef not being there and a new one was in? It's funny when you don't have basic courtesy how the meal booked for and planned quickly becomes sour. Having spent 5 min choosing our meals and drinks we went over and ordered, ofcourse the drink we wanted wasn't available but okay choose another. No mention there would be a delay. Drinks came over 5 min later, great! Okay so now just the food, 30 min go by, no food, no apology, no one saying it would be a little while. Okay 35 min in to waiting, us staring at the waitresses starting to fidget. One comes over, sorry the cheese in your salad isn't available, but we have this other type okay. 5 min later was told it shouldn't be too much longer. Right so 40 min waiting now, was told it wouldn't be too much longer, so 20 min later, waiting 1 hour for small plates of calamari on one and a cheese and tomato plate on the other. Goes up and now adgited for the long wait, how long untill the food arrives? not even our main by the way which was pie and chips. It's another 10 minutes. Okay so a short time is half an hour in total from when you told us plus a further 10min now. Yes I want a refund, waiting an hour having no courtesy to say anything was delayed or unavailable. Obviously a lack of communication, disingenuous and ofcourse the watireses giggling and staring as we left?? Ofcourse you should do better, and the nice thing for a business would be to comp the drinks, did they no. Did they say goodbye as we left, no. Are we going back, no. I don't recommend you do either, there's a reason it was empty, oh I forgot that but it was an empty pub with one gentleman eating a sandwich which they got wrong as we waited and had to redo. You were obviously overwhelmed as it seems the staff and the kitchen can't cope. You duth butter no parsnips lovelies. 💃

I came to the pub on the 1st August and on this time drove. I have been coming regularly by foot for years and live in E Dulwich. Today I ended up with a fine. There was no clear notice about parking. Why would I even look? I am not happy with this. I often come here with many family and friends. Living locally I have spent much time and money at the Plough. It seems I need to take my business elsewhere in future. Good luck with making your money from parking fine. Not a good way to lose a regular and loyal customer in this day when so many pubs are struggling. This is unacceptable.

Went to the plough Dulwich today 10/08:24 with my family & had a fantastic time, the staff were so so friendly & helpful. The lady with the brown curly hair is amazing her customer service is so on point, infact the whole staff are great. The food is fab & the chef is doing a great job. Pricing of drinks & food is quite reasonable too, would so recommend this place!!!

A big thank you to Beneca and all the staff for accommodating our last-minute reservation and ensuring everything was perfect. His warm and friendly demeanor makes everyone feel welcome, and he always remembers regulars by name! If you're visiting The Plough, make sure to have Nico serve you—you won't be disappointed! Highly recommended.

I’ve eaten here before and had lovely food. But last nights family meal was awful - everyone got their meals at different times and be order was wrong. They still charged us the difference in price between this and the correct meal! They gave us free coffees to compensate but then seemed to expect us to be grateful for this, when it’s really the very least they could have done. Food nice though overall but service from person in charge quite rude and not particularly apologetic.

Food was fantastic starf realy nice. The only thing they could improve is the gluten free choices.

First time I have been here but it was well worth the visit. Had Sunday lunch, really delicious rare roast beef, and a delicious dessert. Plenty of choice for food and wine. Good service and helpful staff. Definitely recommend. Did not drive but for those doing so there is a car park where there are large signs asking you to enter your registration number inside the pub. Inside, there are clear signs directing you to the tablet and details of how to enter your registration number.

Couldn’t decide what to have as everything looked so good on the menu. As it was a Sunday I finally decided on a roast and it did not disappoint. Everything from the meat to the roast potatoes were just on point. Great food and lovely atmosphere. What more can you ask for.
