Had a lovely experience at the slug and lettuce at millennium square. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff including Jack who was very helpful. #weloveJack

Was my 21st birthday bash and the service was horrendous had 4 drinks in over 2 hours the food wasn’t very good either to top it off. The staff were extremely rude and weren’t off a help at all being honest utterly useless. Would not recommend to anyone having a birthday bash

Absolutely horrendous service, was poor from the start with only enough drink between 15 of us for a shot sized drink each - took another 15 minutes to get another drink and then 1 hour 20 minutes later we had a total of 4 drinks each. I personally spoke to the manager 2 times and the workers multiple more, really bad service and acted like we wasn’t even there (kept rolling their eyes) We eventually got an additional 45 minutes but again only 2 drinks in that time - wouldn’t recommend this place as there are plenty better places to go for your money. The food wasn’t the nicest and most people didn’t finish theirs. On top of that we had to pay for 16 people when only 15 people was present.

Was a very bad experience, went for bottomless brunch and the servers ignored us and rolled their eyes. We had 4 drinks per person in total in 2 hours which they also stopped bringing us clean glasses and so we complained multiple times. They ended up giving us an extra 45 mins but by the end of it we had to go down and order the drinks ourselves as they would not come to our table. Felt like we were invisible and not wanted there , would not recommend

SHOCKING. Had a bottomless brunch for a 21st birthday, an hour and 20 mins in we only had 2 drinks each the waiters were very slow bringing the drinks out. At the end we were then forced to pay £35 for a 16th person when there were only 15 of us. Would not reccomend.

Came here for a Christmas meal with some of work lot. Ended up having to leave before my meal because there was not nearly enough room on the tables (I can't be bumping elbows), it was too loud for me to make conversation, the WiFi was shocking- I was told Smart by name not by nature haha. Couldn't even get a drink after the first because of huge queues at the bar and there was no water on the tables. I was told when I got the WiFi that the wait for drinks to order to tables was 25 minutes at least. I ordered one £7.75 for a glass of Prosecco (!) , then looked around, realized I'd had more conversation with the security at the door than was having at the table or wanted to have 🥱, felt overstimulated and underwhelmed AND THIRSTY AND HUNGRY... And left to get a smash burger and some nachos with my friend outside... And a mulled cider. I'm an if in doubt, ditch kinda person. First time in a Slug for a while, and it will be the last. Do like the look of the cocktail menu though. Might try and recreate one or two at home. Ta

Kelcie was our waitress, she was as super fast with service and friendly. Felt very comfortable and enjoyed our time. Bottomless brunch was worth the money. Food was delicious too

We were served by Whitney tonight, she was absolutely lovely and showed us her full attention and service. At first we don’t think that they realised that we were in on a bottomless, which was probably down to miscommunication. However as soon as this issue was resolved after 45 mins we were seen to after this, service was a little slow, However Whitney was apologetic of this and offered us multiple rounds due to the delay, without us having to mention anything to her.

Popped in for our Christmas get together for our company. The starters didn't arrive for over an hour then when it did arrive it arrived with our mains? It was all stone cold. Sent it all back and left

The manager Jon went above and beyond for us. The interior design was cool and sparkly. All the food was prompt to be delivered and super tasty.

We came here on Sunday 17th November 2024, the drinks are good however the service was terrible! We were told they couldn't do fish and chips, we then asked if one pasta dish could be prepared without onions, they initially said that was fine and after the order was placed while waiting for drinks a chef (young girl with colourful hair) stormed out and said to the bartender who took the order "the dishes are all pre-made so you better tell them to change their order or have it as it comes" we took the dish as it came as their was nothing else we could do. We ordered at around 2pm and at 2:45pm I asked how much longer the food would be, I was simply told "there was a large order before us" but are you seriously saying a large business can't cope with more than one order especially after you told us the food is pre-made? Also considering the time of day, the restaurant was basically empty other than a few other customers, I found this very shocking and the attitude from your staff was very poor, they seriously didn't seem to care. We did find this a very disappointing experience, the drinks are always really good here for the price but the service is not.

Very poor service, unfriendly waiting staff and one of the worst burgers I’ve ever had! With the loud music and disco ball, it felt more like a night club than a restaurant…I think going on a Saturday night made it clear that they expect their clientele to be inebriated to the point that they don’t notice the poor quality…I wouldn’t recommend and will not be returning.

John small was amazing today! He was attentive and helpful when things went wrong and made sure he fixed all the mistakes! He was amazing as the manager! Wanted to say a big thank you for all the help.

Came in for my daughter's birthday party on Saturday afternoon. It was a tricky situation doing it with my ex, but Jack and the team were amazing and went out of their way to look after us. The girls had a great time and even got to let their hair down on the dancefloor. 💃

This was the worst experience I think I have had when eating out. Initially the app to order didn’t work, poor service at the bar from unfriendly staff. Told the wait would be about 30 minutes it was nearer 60. When the food arrived it was cold and undercooked. I will never visit this chain against

Came in here Sunday evening... The last stop on a pub crawl of bristol.. Was gutted as they didn't have the contents to make a mojito so i was disappointed as its always nice to have this as the last drink of the night.. Ended up having a different cocktail and it wasn't nice at all...

We went here for our friend’s birthday and were promptly served for our bottomless brunch session. Our food and drinks were served quickly with Jack and Eve making sure to serve us with quality customer service and friendliness. Will definitely be coming back again with friends.

I took my daughter to the Taylor Swift theme month. We went on the last day and I had put a note on the booking to say my daughter had a condition where she would be happier on a quieter table but was a swiftly through and through and would just like to have lunch with me listening to the music, rather than the themed bottomless brunch as she’s a fussy eater. When we arrived we were greeted by Connor. He was fantastic and had set the table with all the Taylor Swift stuff, he made a very nervous 12 year old feel very comfortable. We had a seperate booth, he asked us if the music was too loud, made sure we had the Taylor Swift cocktail cups for our soft drinks and all the goodies. He was so friendly and even let us take the Taylor Swift cardboard cut out home with us. She now lives in my daughter’s bedroom. An unforgettable experience and made 100% better with the help of Connor. 😊 (sorry this review is so late!)

Went for dinner with my colleague, and didn’t have a great time sadly. Didn’t even stay 10 minutes! The staff really ruined our experience. Making a racket, not even acknowledging us and acting like idiots climbing the roofing up top- not Not only was the manager not condoning the act he seemed to be the one leading it. Never coming back such shame.

Bottomless drinks lunch/dinner - 4pm. Food portions were small so don’t arrive hungry but the drinks flowed well.
