The View Hotel Eastbourne in Eastbourne

Stayed here loads of times in the past. Didn't realise till recently they had a dog friendly floor. Room 517 was great. Big room with dog beds and 2 bowls laid out on mats for each dog. Door knob hanger to alert guests that there are dogs in the room. Bed was super comfy and they brought up some extra heaters as the room was a bit cold. Good shower and brekkie was top notch. Staff were all so helpful too. Street parking using a voucher at reception costs £2.20 and lasts till 11:00 am the following morning. A toasty warm, super comfy stay. Thanks and hope to see you again before long.

Very expensive on carvery . Food not that great . But never has been. Veg soppy and soft . Meat was good . Was told the carvery was 18 pound when phoned . 29 00 pounds two course . Much better at langham hotel. Wouldn't have carvery again. Sorry . Not worth the moneys. Trio adviser should be told . Puddings a poor show, on the late carvery . How do you warrant that price

Fantastic location with rooms that have everything you might need! Only downside is that the rooms are starting to feel a bit dated now and could do with a bit of a refresh!!

Staff and service are excellent

Another fabulous overnight stay at this hotel. 4th year in a row and it never disappoints. Beautiful view, good facilities and really friendly and helpful staff. Well definitely be back.

Booked for Sunday carvery a few weeks ago - really lovely, service and food was fantastic - will certainly book again.

Great hotel and excellent location, very close to town centre and with sea views. On our last day when we had our breakfast, the hotel decided to have a test fire alarm, and we were told to leave the building. Breakfast gets cold, and we don't have time to warm up the food. Test alarm could be done an hour later when breakfast is finished and it wouldn't make so much chaos. The hotel didn't even feel sorry for wasting someone's time and money we have paid for the breakfast. It was the most expensive glass of orange juice and half sauce I ever had in my life.

Great hotel in lovely location.

I went into the bar to ask if I could have a cup of tea and eat some cake. Two girls who were in the bar for about five minutes did not pay attention to me, although I was standing, they were talking to each other, they ignored me After which I asked if I could eat cake from them. To which one of them rudely answered me by pointing her finger, you see the cake here. I said I don’t see any cake here, she said then don’t ask me stupid questions, it means it’s not here. I The two girls giggled among themselves because I am from another country, I am an immigrant.They were very boorish, one of them even made a face at me I will never come back here and I don’t advise you to come here. Terrible relationships don’t treat you like some kind of nonentity.Although I just came there to eat cake and drink tea, maybe something more, but I will never come back here again And I don’t advise you guys here, the staff is terrible, no one works for them, they don’t respect people, I don’t even understand why they work there Although the hotel looks gorgeous, but these two girls just ruined my mood I just wanted to order food and they insulted me and insulted me Please fire them and make sure they don't behave around people anymore.Because if necessary I will move on. It was on the same day that I wrote a review 5 minutes earlier.

Really enjoyed our stay here in Eastbourne. Was in town for a short stay but really loved how much this hotel stood out for being modern, the amenities included everything we needed, and the price was 100% worth it. Would stay again.

Cannot speak for the rooms but the food is standard over priced hotel food, tasty but not worth the money for the portion size.

I booked tables for the restaurant for 26 people to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. They were incredibly accommodating and we had great service and such lovely food. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the views out the window were amazing. Thank you for helping to make his day special.

Fantastic views from the rooms and great service from the staff

Had a great stay at the View Hotel Eastbourne. Lovely room with a great view of the seafront. Gym was small but well equipped. Breakfast served 7-10am weekdays, with a good selection of quality foods (hot English breakfast, and cold continental fruits/cereals/meats, with a bean to cup coffee machine). Excellent service from the reception staff Toni and ?Ilona? who made us feel welcome. Unsure about pricing as it was paid for by business - definitely worth a re-visit!

Excellent hotel, located opposite the beach. You can purchase a daily parking voucher for £2.20 which allows you to park outside the hotel, subject to spaces. The room we had,( double economy), was more than adequate for our stay. We had a great view of the beach as well. The buffet breakfast in the morning was substantial, juices, hot drinks, cereals, fresh fruit, cheese, hams, pastries, rolls/bread & a full cooked English breakfast too. Yum! There is also a bar area for drinks. Would definitely return here

We had lunch only in the Artisan restaurant. The service was so good. Nice lunch and prosecco. But the service was brilliant

I was on a unite the union course the hotel was great breakfast lunch and dinner was good the room was fantastic everything you needed was there and the room tidy tea coffee replenished every day it was a pleasure to stay there all the hotel staff were very curtious and helpful

Perfect name as the views from thus hotel are stunning. I wasn't expecting much as only 3* but WOW. Nice clean rooms, lovely bar and restaurant, perfect location and very nice breakfast.

We had a three night break at the View Hotel Eastbourne in a disabled friendly room. The room was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room to manoeuvre the wheel chair. We had a sea view room with a balcony which had easy access for the wheel chair (room 209). The bathroom was a brilliant wet room with grab rails, shower stool and accessible wash basin. The vista cafe bar was the place to eat and have a drink with a good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. We were disappointed with the Artisan restaurant, with very few customers making the area feel cold. The menu was limited and dinning for more than a couple of nights would be difficult, without repeating meal choices. We will return to this very pleasant and well situated hotel.

Very helpful and friendly staff.

We had a 3 night stay at The View. We needed an accessible room for my husband who is in a wheelchair. We were allocated room 209 which has a balcony and sea view. The room was very spacious and had a ramp for the wheelchair to access the balcony which was fantastic. The bathroom ( wet room) had everything required for a wheelchair user. The beds were very comfortable and it was lovely to fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the sea. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The bar and lounge had a lovely atmosphere and it the Vista cafe served food all day up til 9pm. The only thing for us that let the hotel down slightly was the limited menu in the restaurant. Fine if you like Pizza, burger and fish and chips type menu. What we had was very nice but the menu was not for us. However breakfast was great. Full English, continental, cereals etc. We loved the hotel and for us to know the accessible room has everything we need will definitely temp us back in the Autumn

Really great room and an amazing view! The staff were lovely and helpful the entire time and we were right on the seafront, parking is also easy with a Hotel permit you can ask for at the desk for £2 a day

The staff were all fabulous; efficient, friendly, prompt & caring. The room I had was tiny but very clean. The breakfast was great and the sea views were just lovely

Stayed here for a training event. Can't fault it clean tidy and well laid out. Meals were excellent beds good and rooms airy. Able to meaningfully study at the desk in the room.

Wonderful view of the pier and the starling murmuration from my room. The breakfast was excellent and the service was polite and cheerful.
