Dinner at the Wandle always amazing, only part more amazing was the service received by Kayla. Fast, efficient and served with a smile always.

I had the most wonderful time at the Wandle and it was all thanks to one of the bar staff Amelia. She was super friendly and I hope to be served by her again next time i visit😁

I visited the wandle recently and received amazing service. Amelia was serving me and she was spectacular!! She was so friendly and helpful it was lovely to see. The food and drinks are also very nice at a good price!!

So, so - I guess - but generally fine. I only stopped as a break on a walk from Streatham to Wimbledon and there was nothing wrong - fairly standard pub with a fair amount of space, nicely located. Not sure what happens in the evening (I was there 14:30) but lots of tables were reserved or scheduled for removal. Probably wouldn't have liked that but wasn't there, so who can say? Big outside area but too cold. Just seen the response from the owner... I think my rating is fair and I don't see why a 3-star review is that disappointing for a place I felt was pretty average. It's not in the Good Beer Guide, the beer I had wasn't great (in my opinion), I didn't eat and I can't recall any particular interaction with the staff. The signs I saw didn't mention "live music" just that the tables would be removed 5.5 hours later. 5 stars, without halves, doesn't give much differentiation and a higher score here would place it in the same bracket as places I simply enjoyed more. I also appreciate that audiences for whom the establishment resonated more would give higher scores, as they should. It was a "genuinely fine" experience and an opportunity to warm up and take a break at the closest available location on a coldish day. I wouldn't seek it out but neither would I dissuade anyone who finds themselves on its doorstep from entering. It's just expectation management. (To clarify "not in the Good Beer Guide" - it is present in a "Nearby Pubs" search on the GBG website - goodbeerguide.org.uk - but not in a "Good Beer Guide Pubs" search.) In the interest of balance, I visited The Grosvenor in Hanwell the following afternoon and found it broadly similar in theme. I rated the Grosvenor 4-star due to the broader cask ale selection (it is a full-on GBG pub) - that was the differentiator.

The wings and chicken burger were delicious! Great company and good beers/ciders. Loved the South African Cider Sxollie. Nice to have something from home 🇿🇦 . Gnocchi Tots weren't great. They were greasy and had alot of garlic. Dessert: Pecan Pie was very underwhelming and had no flavour. Was expecting something delicious and yummy. Was very disappointed.

We were very tired in the evening so we wanted to have dinner earlier. The service team served us very good with high efficiency. The Christmas dinner was well prepared and delicious especially the desserts. Our suggestion to people in Earlsfield is to put Wandle as your top priority place to go for the next Christmas Eve!

Solid Guinness pour with well positioned TVs to watch the football no matter where you're standing or seated. What more can you ask for?

Lively pub after a certain hour. Nice outdoor area in the summer time. Sometimes seems a little too cramped in there. Looks much better after the renovation

What can I say, this experience at The Wandle was unlike any pub I’ve ever been to. All due to the wonderful and gracious Miss. Lexie. I’ve never felt more warm and welcomed from a simple “hello” from any bartender I’ve ever met. I cannot emphasize this enough, Lexie simply saved my life.

Unreal atmosphere, perfect for a night out with friends. Service was sensational, I quit drinking 23 years ago and thanks to the wonderful service of Lexie I decided to have my first drink since. I’ve since come back to the Wandle every single night for a drink and plan to for the foreseeable future

Excellent roast, the chef himself came to make sure everything was ok, over and above - thank you to him and his team! Brilliant service from the bar/wait staff also - Evan and Kwame are fantastic!

*Edit We came here today for a second try, and had a really lovely time! Food was really really delicious and so beautifully presented it could have been a work of art, the toffee apple artic roll in particular (which I highly recommend!). I particularly loved the parsnip puree on my roast. The staff were so good and very attentive. Lovely wine selection and cocktail/mocktail menu, which we hope to take advantage of on our next visit! We'll definitely be back for another lovely roast very soon!

The Wandle is a cozy pub perfect for a comforting Sunday roast or their epic Wing Wednesday. The roast is melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the wings are sauced to perfection. Our server Anton was fantastic—attentive, friendly, and quick to keep our pints full, making the experience even better.

Incredible roast in a really nice pub. I had the lamb and it was delicious, my friends had pork and chicken and also loved it. The staff are super welcoming and attentive. There was a really good atmosphere for the football and rugby too! Would recommend!

We had a great experience with a great server! We did not get his name but he was a big bearded long haired guy & was super friendly which made the whole experience even better. Food is also very good! Highly recommend!

Great food, amazing staff and fantastic manager!

The Wandle has always been on of my fav pubs. Great atmosphere and always great service. We came for some food and Rosie was extra attentive and it really made a difference to our visit this time.

I came for a catchup drink with a friend and loved the service we got from Rosie who helped me choose a nice cider and was so patient and friendly. We ordered some nice chunky chips as well to soak up the drinks.

We had a Sunday lunch to celebrate two birthdays. The food was excellent 👌 The pub manager Marc was very accommodating and made sure smooth service, despite the pub being very busy. All staff working there very friendly and attentive. Great value for money! We had a fantastic time and definitely will be back again!

I had the pleasure of dining here today, and I must say that Pavel provided exceptional service! From the moment we walked in, he greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Pavel was attentive without being intrusive, and he went above and beyond to ensure our experience was enjoyable. His positive attitude and genuine care for his guests truly made our visit special. Highly recommended!

After renovation, it is so elegant and beautiful. Wandle continues its best service and food as it had done in the past. Evan and his team are professional and eager to serve every visitors. The Chef and the kitchen team are excellent! We appreciate this local pub very much.

I will definitely be coming back! The food was amazing! Definitely 10/10. I had the variety of wings which were the BEST wings I've tasted in years, personal fav was the Korean wings. I spoke to a lovely guy named Mark who was very helpful. Bar staff were lovely and friendly too. Would 100% recommend.

This is a great pub. Recently renovated and a great garden. Unfortunately the service is still poor. How can the bar staff not know who has been waiting the longest when there are three people waiting. Then more turn up and they still get served first. Ditch the British bar staff and bring back the Eastern Europeans that know about customer service.

Nice relaxed pub in Earlsfield, visited with a few friends before a show at Tara Arts. Good selection of wines, welcoming decor and relatively chilled out atmosphere. Can be a bit of a wait at the bar.

Had Sunday lunch with friends and family. Sat in the beer garden. Good atmosphere. Lots of space. The inside is spacious too. Food was very tasty and good portions not to expensive. Service was a bit slow. Was handed the menus then left to workout if we had to go to the bar to order or not? 🤔 We ordered at the bar then waited a age for the food. But no complaints about the food when it arrived. That's most important.

I was here in 2020 & 2021 & I had a great time ? But unfortunately after coming to celebrate here at this same establishment 2024 (7 September) I found the service to be disgusting & the bouncers & staff will treat you like you are nothing , I was kicked out of the pub because i simply showed the performing artist a song request on my phone , this made the performing artist very upset so much so that it made him request the bouncers to throw me out ? But why ? & None of the bouncers/Staff could tell me why I had been ejected from the pub ? This bar is not what is used to be & it treats its customer like dirt just because they are very busy . . I’ll never come to THE WANDLE again. Shame , shame , shame . I came here for holiday again from South Africa . A once great pub has been ruined & overtaken by terrible staff & will never be what it used to be . Cheers . Forever lost customer

The wandle and it’s staff are great, we come in regularly after work and often On weekends Lia is great and customer service is excellent we came today after two days of training and they were amazing

A typical pub, can be very busy.

I visited yesterday for a last minute Sunday roast. Staff were very accommodating with my table. The roast came quickly, with crispy but fluffy potatoes and lovely roast beef. Just what you expect from a pub roast! Will be back!

Really nice since the makeover. Menu great, good atmosphere and service. Friendly staff. Best of the pubs near Earlsfield station and large beer garden.

Wanted to go out for a roast and decided to try this place as the jolly gardeners are no longer doing roasts. Absolutely do not recommend. As I was ordering the food at the bar my boyfriend witnessed the manager (perhaps?) swearing at a young female staff member that seemed to be new. I then saw her standing behind the bar trying not to cry. If I had not had already ordered our food I would have left there and then as how places treat staff says a lot about the place. We then got our roast dinners that were freezing cold, like they had been taken out of the fridge. I complained about the food to a very helpful man behind the bar who sent our food back to the kitchen. We then received the food for a second time and it was the same food heated up again, I know as I had eaten some parsnip. The roast wasn’t nice at all, but hard to judge as it had been reheated. For £50 it was an awful experience all round and we shan’t be returning.

Went here for the Eurofinal in July. Thank you Marc for being so accommodating and checking in regularly that we were happy. We brought our 7 year old with and were nervous that it may be too rowdy, but he constantly made sure we were ok and made it really enjoyable!

We love this pub!! They have just had a fantastic renovation which I have attached to the review from the opening day. We come with our little boy a few times a week, staff are super friendly and looking forward to trying the new menu. Great place to chill and have a few beers watching sport with friends.

Great pub, food and people - come on England!

We phoned ahead to check if we would be able to watch the Ireland vs South Africa game followed by the England vs Switzerland. The team was fantastic and had arranged two brilliant viewing areas enabling us to watch the full rugby game and football. Fantastic food,drink and atmosphere

Came to watch the Euros and got a lovely table, the bar staff led by a lovely dark gentleman with fake glasses over contacts and a South African lady were amazing! Pizza were large and flavourful, but the starters are tiny and not worth the money charged. However....the game ended and before the second match could start, the security staff came around to all the male tables to let them know that the projector was being turned off for a live band, and the game would be shown outside (in the rain) or on the other side of the pub which was full of people eating dinner. Nobody told us (two females) until we asked. Very disappointed that during an event like the Euros would not be shown fully. Loads of people had to rush out to leave and head to the Pig & Whistle or pubs down Garrett Lane.

Ordered a chicken burger and buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza had ZERO buffalo sauce on it and was more like a frozen oven pizza rather than the handmade sourdough we were promised. Also ordered a cornflake coated chicken burger which was just breaded chicken breast with a tiny bit of sauce. Poutine fries had barely any gravy and cream cheese which was weird. For the amount we were hoping for more

On the outside this place looks small but it's a tardis inside. Beer garden is well equipped for the summer and they have a wings night challenge which I'm up for big time. Reasonable London prices (as of May24) for pints. They have a variety of beers on tap as expected and plenty of TV's for sports.

I’ve been a local at the wandle for over a decade and it never fails to please in my eye! It is hands down the best venue for live music in South West London. The new menu is great because it is not a generic ‘pub menu’. The new chef must have done his homework. With summer coming up I can’t wait for the awesome garden to get into full swing. You can see that the new manager Marc, who started his career at the wandle years ago has his eye firmly on the ball. This pub is definitly my home away from home. Gregory Sebastian Scott.

Service slow but great atmosphere

Been here a few times and enjoyed every time. The service is great and they have plenty of drinks on offer to meet anyone's needs. Has a good atmosphere for live sport also.

Great Sunday roast. Lively place good service friendly staff a little pricey

Bought butter chicken, chips and slaw for £15.50 each, defo not worth the money the chips were ok but the chicken was not, hard fried coating with the thin brown meat inside.

Had a delicious meal of scampi served by a friendly and attentive South African lady, she also thoughtfully asked me if I had and allergies or dietary intolerances too. She's a credit to this place.

Booked a table for 12 for Easter, hoping to have a lovely Easter meal together. Booking was easy and the staff member I spoke to was very helpful. When we arrived, the table was cleared and cleaned very quickly. Unfortunately, we were let down by 1 person behind the bar. Waiting to be served and a man comes out from the back to help, gesturing for who was next. When I pointed towards a group of people at the bar, some who were apart of my booking, he said "ha" and immediately walked away and went to serve someone else. When he came back he said "a little tip, bar staff don't like to be told who to serve". I found this extremely rude behaviour and I let him know I didn't appreciate the way he acted. I asked another member of staff who the manager was, only to be told he was the manager. As we were all rather annoyed we finished our drinks and immediately left heading to go to another local pub. I would like to say the other members of staff were kind and extremely helpful. Unfortunately, this one member of staff ruined what could have been a wonderful evening.

Lia deserves a special shoutout for making Wing Wednesdays a delightful experience every time. Great food, great atmosphere, and even better service!

Wandle is my go to spot for fish & chips! Lia's recommendations never disappoint.
