My husband and I have lived in Tooting for about 6 years and this is one of our favourite local pubs. Lovely interior, great food and atmosphere, good selection of beers on tap and wine, and staff are always friendly. More recently, our antenatal classes were also hosted at the pub which was very convenient. The food is slightly more expensive than other pubs but worth it - highly rate the Sunday roast & cauliflower cheese, and the fish & chips.

Love this pub! Quality food and lovely staff. A special mention to Tyler who looked after us. From such a personal lovely welcome all the way through to the end he was a real class act. It's rare that someone is so genuinely personal and professional...he really made the meal and the occasion even more lovely. A real credit to the Wheatsheaf.

The Wheatsheaf is our local which we love and frequent regularly, so when we had family to stay just before Christmas I thought nothing of booking a table for us all. I perhaps should have enquired in advance about gluten free options for my sister, but everywhere offers them these days so I assumed it would be fine, especially given the amount of pizzas and burgers on the menu - surely it wouldn't be hard to offer a gluten free bun or base option. However there was nothing for her. The staff are also not well trained on allergens and when asking what my sister could have which was gluten free, the server replied "does it say the plant burger is vegan?" to which I had to point out the difference between the two. He then had to go off and ask what she could have, and it turned out only the steak and chips were gluten free but they had run out of steak. I still love this pub but they really need to do better on this.

I love this pub and lucky to have as my local. I’m a wine lover and think the wines could be better source 🙏

It's a nice building and used to be a nice pub. Turned into a nursery now- the amount of screaming kids is shocking. Avoid if you want a quiet meal.

Had a blast catching up with friends for our Christmas dinner. The food was delicious, everything tasted so good. Our server was also super friendly and attentive. The place had a really nice vibe, perfect for a festive get-together. Would definitely recommend it for a holiday meal.

Flynn has been superb on our Sunday roast. Despite how busy the restaurant was he made sure we were happy throughout and got us everything we needed. We’ll be back!

I visited The Weathsheaf with my friends for Sunday Roast. The mealnwas scrumptious, the ambience beautiful and a great selection of drinks. The sentire experience was made perfect by Ali, the most wonderful waiter.

Came with a large group, several of whom weren’t very proficient in English. Our server, Ali was a rock star! Not just with our table, but nearby tables as well. Not phased by special requests, lost jewelry, photo requests, all while providing smooth, efficient service. Sunday roast was exceptional. Generous portions, everyone at our table was thrilled by their meal; so much so, that for dinner later, we just ended up with a salad. Hands down the best Sunday roast in Tooting, and probably further afield.

Barney was our server this afternoon he was so attentive and chatty and made us feel so welcome. The food was lovely, best roast I’ve had in Tooting by far, my Yorkshire was a smidge crispy but otherwise cannot fault the experience.

The customer service was especially good. All staff were very attentive.

Ali's service was spot on, attentive but not overbearing. The pork roast with extra stuffing and pigs and blankets was great! Perfect gravy and lovely choice of red wines. Such an enjoyable Sunday.

We came in for an evening meal and was greeted with smiles and great service we sat in the restaurant area where it’s an open kitchen which was great to see them making the food! There pie is the best in south west London and such great value for money! Can’t wait to return!
