Wonderful pub with a nice open log fire and the owners always go the extra mile, Margaret is an amazing cook but food has to be arranged in advance. They also hold family fun days in the summer with BBQ and disco. It also has a nice size function room so if you're near to the area, I highly recommend this place.

Doesn't deserve a 1 star! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! Komal the manager is rude and doesn’t listen to the customers. She took the order down incorrectly and then blamed us that it’s what we ordered after it was delivered. She eventually agreed to replace the order after we told her we would leave a review and contact head office. The delivery driver didn’t hand the correct pizza over until we gave the incorrect pizza and garlic bread back. Disgusting behaviour, she needs to work on her telephone manor and always know the customer is right! So if you ordered a margarita pizza, after 7pm today you may get the one that was collected from my home! FYI people are leaving fake reviews since I posted this!

3 Downsland Rd, Basingstoke, RG21 8TX, United KingdomThe details for this place on Google are a mess. The correct address IS 3 Downsland Parade, Worting Road - I have been there in person. Downsland Road is entirely residental. The correct address is shown on their website but then the waters are muddied with an incorrect map. Twice I have corrected this; twice it's been 'accepted' but STILL Google does not show 'Parade'!

1B, Crown Heights, Basingstoke RG21 7SY, United KingdomOur go to after a long day out, food tasty, staff friendly and accommodating. Never had a problem, several times some items given for free on special occasions. Cold and wet today, now feeling well fed. Will go back anytime.
