Toro's Steakhouse in Birmingham

Wow how dissapointed was I was told no card machine to get cash only ! I wonder why thats is ? The waitress that took our order got it wrong so when the food came out it was wrong. When I highlighted that this was the wrong steak and was under cooked when asked for well done the waiter stated that we had made the wrong orders our self. Very rude staff and very tight portions well over rated will not be going their again. Can not deffo reccomend this place Torros.

Service is always good here and the food is tasty but reason for star rating is its never cooked how i ask for and steaks veryy hard to cut in different areas. Also be aware some parts of steak may not be cooked as much as other parts. Despite all this the food is good and i still recommend it. 7/10

Steak is great. I had the fillet mignon and it was amazing 🤩, I asked for medium well and it came out well done and they replaced it for me as soon as I told the waiter which was lovely. The service is great overall they really know how to buy a customer. unfortunately they don’t have a card machine😔

One of my favourite stake houses ever! The food is always so good and the customer service is amazing especially a worker called lee. She’s the sweetest soul ever and is always so warm and welcoming and makes everyone laugh x

Gorgeous juicy succulent steak with buttery mash absolutely divine only negative is that it's cash only but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make to visit toros again

The food was absolutely 10/10, and the drinks were just as amazing! We had a lovely server, Madiha, who was not only quick and efficient but also incredibly welcoming. Her warm attitude made our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

The Toro's special sirloin steak tasted good, but overwhelmingly thin compared to other places. Medium was slightly rare but no problem. Mashed potato sizzler tasted good, it was a huge portion probably 5 potatoes in there. Strawberry Mojito was slightly limy. Service was decent, folks were working overtime and our server Madiha has been kind.

Lovely decor, food was ok ordered medium rare steak, was given rare but the rest of the meal was nice Shockingly poor service, reserved a table for five, was seated right at the front by the doorway which had a cold draft coming in every time it was opened, I asked to be moved but was refused by the waitress, I was informed that all the tables were booked even though they were not. Staff seemed preoccupied with themselves instead of checking on customers to see if everything is ok, the head waitress rushed around tables checking on her iPad and then checking the tables even ours while we were eating which seemed a bizarre behaviour from her, our meal felt rushed because of this strange behaviour and it wasn’t once. Sadly I will not be returning here again

The jumbo prawn sizzler has got to be my favourite item from the menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Efficient service and great atmosphere. Really enjoyed my meal as always at Torros Birmingham.

I’ve just left here after having one of the best steaks ever. we were served by Madeehah who was extremely polite, making sure we had everything ghr whole time we were there. will 100% be coming back!

Staff tried pressuring us to give them a good review on the spot so I wouldn't believe the other reviews i'm reading on here. It's more fast food than steak, frozen meats, usually overcooked... this is not the place for anyone seriously looking for a good steak.

We had arrived quite late with 11 family members. Regardless of the timing, the staff looked after us and the food arrived promptly. We were very pleased. Almost everyone ordered steaks which came well prepared and sizzling hot. The price for food at this place is still very reasonable.

Dinner at Toro's was amazing Steaks were cooked perfectly, tender and to our liking. Will definitely come again. The service was great Aniya was great and advised us on the different Steaks as some of us were trying steak for the first time. She was very friendly and always smiling also checked on us throughout the day. The atmosphere was buzzing, very busy and lively

How can a business of this size take cash only?! When questioned this they said they don’t have a card machine as it’s too expensive! Absolutely ridiculous. Toros special steak was decent, had it with peri chips and pasta. Meat was too thin. Quarter chicken was burnt and the rice was stale Brownie sizzler just smelt and taste burnt Virgin mojito was tasteless. Also check your recipes, the brownie sizzler was advertised at 7.95 but had it for 10 on receipt. They did sort this out though.

Well what can I say that has not already been pronounced. The food is delicious but there was still a hint of weakness in the presentation of the dishes.

Came to toros today I had the lamb chops and they were beautiful!!!!! Our server Aniya was such a lovely warm girl which made the experience an overall 10/10. Will deffo be coming again!

Food arrived quickly and it was a decent meal at a fair price for 8 of us. The service was disappointing as we were served by a rude waitress with an attitude problem. We were also served by a waiter who kept forgetting items which were requested at the time of ordering- he was also sarcastic with his comments. Staff could do with training in hospitality or be referred for anger management as they seemed to have a problem with serving customers what they had ordered.

The food was amazing, came early, warm and freshly made, amazing family friendly environment, our waitress Sehar was amazing, defo would come here again. Would definitely come here again

There are a few things I would like to say about this place. Firstly, the food is on point. We come here quite often and can always rely on a 10/10 meal. Secondly, the service is perfect. We were served by Madiha (i hope I’ve spelt it right) and she gave what I would say is perfect customer service. Quick delivery of food, attended us whenever we needed it and made sure our experience is good.

One of my favourite spots I go often to. The food as well as the service is 10/10. I go for a medium well t bone with rice and mash, garlic mushroom sauce, runny egg and jalapeno with coleslaw and the strawberry daiquiri is banging. 😋

Over all experience was good. Food was nice. The only problem is that they only take cash. I clarified with waiter of other options as didn’t have cash and didn’t have card either. Only had Apple Pay for which I was told they will sort something out but at the end the only option they offered was online bank transfer which I could not do either and at this point the the staff member was rude and blamed me that I should have spoken to manager At the end managed to pay with the help of my guest which was embarrassing.

Lee was very helpful as she talked me and my friends through the menu and recommended and helped us what to get. I would definitely be coming back because of her service and warm welcome to toros.

Came here today for a meal with my friend, food was really good value for money, service was excellent, was served by a girl called Lee who helped pick what she thought was best on the menu, very polite and kept checking on us despite how busy it was. Will definitely recommend this place for family or friends.

Excellent service by Sehar. Food was served very quickly, we order 4 mains and the food was piping hot on arrival. Mocktails were delicious and the sirloin tasted amazing. Looking forward to coming again in the future!

Was put of when my steak came out 2 minutes after ordering. Steaks are pre cooked!!! For the money your spending go some place where they cook the steaks fresh. Service was great though.

This was hands-down the worst dining experience of my life. I ordered a medium cooked steak, but what I got was a disaster; parts were raw, others were overcooked. When I complained, they told me to give them just the steak (not the plate), which already had pieces of rice and potatoes stuck to it. To my shock, they grilled it again as it was and returned it to me. When I asked if they seriously put the dirty steak back on the grill, they confirmed they did! The overcooked parts were like stone, and the whole experience was disgusting. I understand that mistakes can happen in cooking, we’re all human. But what was unacceptable was their manner. The manager was unbelievably aggressive and didn’t care at all about what the customer was saying. If they had simply explained they were busy or apologised, I would’ve understood, I wasn’t expecting miracles. But their behavior, their complete disregard for customer care, and their rudeness were what made this experience truly terrible. Do not go here. You won’t get quality food, and you certainly won’t get any respect.
