Vindaloo Indian Takeaway (Farnborough) in Rushmoor

Usually top notch, but DO NOT order on busy nights, NYE being a prime example - they do not have the resource to provide food within the allotted time, they scrimp with ingredients and they miss parts off the order.....I complained that they missed my veg curry and that I only had 2 pieces of lamb, and was promptly shouted at! Such a shame as this is usually a great takeaway curry house.

Ordered a curry for New Year’s Eve 72 hours before to avoid disappointment. Curry arrived that night and was told it was for New Year’s Eve. Rang restaurant they apologised. Rang again on New Year’s Eve restaurant said not a problem. Now been waiting over and hour and phones permanently engaged. Really pissed off

Very slow to deliver, used to be really good but the food isn’t what it used to be and all of a sudden the delivery times have gone into slots by it seems, I get that they need to be efficient but they also need to be efficient in delivering food in the times they say, not 30 minutes to 2 hours later!!

Great Curry, well worth the wait, (110mins)Perfect meal for the 4 of us, Starters of Sheek Kebab, Chicken Pakora, Chicken Tikka, Cauliflower Bhaji, Mains were Chicken Madras, Chicken Tikka Korma, Chicken Tikka Masala and Paneer tikka Masala, Keema rice, Pilau rice Naans and popadoms, great portion sizes, perfectly cooked food, best curry ive had for a long time, highly recommend them

If you’re so busy don’t take more orders, 2,5 hr waiting and you still don’t have a driver?? £50 meal- can’t you use uber or whatever?? Disappointing

We've eaten food at a lot of Indian Restaurants and Takeaways... and for us there is none better than the food from Vindaloo. We couldn't believe our luck when this gem of a takeaway opened right on our doorstep back in 2003. Top quality food and service with great vegetarian options...We can't recommend it enough...for the best Indian food in this area... there really isn't anywhere better than Vindaloo Takeaway.

Our go to takeaway since we moved to West Heath. Usually about a 50 minute wait for delivery or collection so factor that in! All the meals have been great, our favourites are the pineapple rice, chicken chat puree and garlic lamb.

First time we have tried here, ordered a takeaway via phone was told 30 minutes for delivery , arrived after 20, person who took the order was very polite and all of the food was very good and not too spicy, also temperature hot, will definitely be using again.

Ordered via just eat, never used them before and i must say i was impressed. Ordered lambe and chicken dishes and sides and every dish was top draw will use as my go to if this is anything to go by. Well done vindaloo

Awful bland food, no taste, gone downhill!!!

First time ordering from them establishment (and last) I had read somewhere that this was in the top 5 curry house's in Hampshire, so I thought we'd give it a go. Sorry to say but there must be a low standard across Hampshire as the food was poor at best. Bland under seasoned dishes that are best avoided.

We thought we would try somewhere new. The food was a big disappointment. The chicken tika masala tastes like tomatoes very bland. The passanda was flavourless overloaded with cashew nuts and some of the chicken consistency was rubber like and the chips were hard and to top it off the cheese naan was loaded with plastic burger cheese. If your thinking of ordering like us save your money go buy a microwave curry from asda at least it won't cost £35

Ordered a collection yesterday. Polite and fast service, ready when it was supposed to be. The food was amazing when we got it home, will definitely be eating here again

The lamb dishes we had were delicious…..Rogan Josh and Bhuna. With the pilau rice and chapati’s it made for an excellent meal. Would definitely recommend Vindaloo.

We had a party for over 60 people and Vindaloo delivered incredible tasting food for us (at only a couple of days), piping hot, labelled, there was an fantastic choice for meat eaters, vegetarians, gluten free/nut free diets, everyone raved about how delicious it was and said it was the best curry they had ever tasted. The selection was amazing (thanks to Mohammeds guidance on what to order), thank you, it made our party perfect, what absolutely fabulous service :)

Unfortunately the curry I ordered was very watery. I would not eat out of here again. I can definitely cook a better curry. I’m new to the area and like to try different curry houses. This one came highly recommended but I unfortunately would not recommend this place on the curry they served me. Taste - nice Quality - good Unfortunately it doesn’t mean anything when the curry was so watery. No curry should be so watery.

Friendly staff open to chat and talk. Food is out of this world always hot always tasty and even better there the only curry house I know around who serves the cheese samosa. TV in store for those who like something else why u wait. Nice seating area like a clean smooth leather couch. Yes I've checked down the sides it was clean. Lol. Had a chicken vindaloo. Very hot and spicy Great Saturday night takeaway Also had chicken omelette. Very light and fluffy. Great different meal from normal.

Amazing Food Great Customer Service Clean Wait is long but defo worth!!!

We were given a timeline of 50-60 mins for delivery. After 1hour 15 mins I phoned only to be told, its ready just waiting for a driver. We waited a further 25mins and phoned again. to be told that it should be here in 5 mins. It was a further 15 mins and we were so hungry that we ate the food, it was OK, not worth the 2 hour wait but not awful. The naan bread was cold! After eating we emailed about the wait and asked for a partial refund. We are still waiting to hear back.

Was my go to for ages. I moved to Fleet and nothing there compares. I still order from here occasionally. Lovely food.

Great Indian food and good value.

I'm so sorry but we all didn't enjoy our takeaway meal. Great phone and delivery service but the food was very poor. My Lamb dhanssak was very disappointing. A dhanssak should be hot, sweet and sour. It was just hot and the lamb was tough. Our side dishes of bhindi bhaji and aloo gobi were both uninspiring. My son's vegetable massala sauce was separating as he ate it. My gf's King Prawn tandoori was passable and the naan bread good. However, overall it was very poor meal in comparison to other Indian restaurants found locally.

Ordered takeaway from here for 10 people, but the portions were tiny and full of sauce and like 2 meat pieces per dish. Flavour was very mild. Not worth ordering, order at your own risk, avoid.

We put a order in for £29.35 and ask for salad and mint sauce with our starter, they called back asking for more money, so we cancelled the order. That's how they treat the regulars, the dishes aren't that great!

Our go-to for a curry. Good food. Fairly quick (I mean we only live 30 seconds away!). The only issue we have had in the past was when we ordered through a 3rd party app.

Where do I start... We ordered as soon as they opened and online. It took 1hr40 min to arrive. The driver first gave us the wrong order, luckily we realised before he left. Then he found our order and said everything was there. Upon dishing up, we found that there was a dish missing. Of course the driver had left and they had put the phone off the hook, so was unable to call up. The food was cold, greasy, overcooked and bland. I have now overpaid for an incomplete order and cannot even get hold of the restaurant. Will definitely not be ordering from them again.

I originally come from Leicester the home of curry so my standards are high, however this is by far one of the worst currys I have ever had, the chilli lamb had absolutely no flavour what so ever it was just raw uncooked spice, the pasanda also was completly tasteless it was like eating raw cream. Starters we had prawn puri once again no taste it just tasted plain and boring, we also had mixed starter that wasnt to bad but also very plain. This meal greatly lacked in the essential flavour and I will never be eating here again.

Two and a half hours and still no delivery. Will never use them again.

Awful good, cold burnt and apalling customer service with attitude on top. Avoid unless you want to pay for burnt cold, stale food to all and get an attitude! I'd honestly give no stars if I could!!!!

These guys know how to do a phall! Loaded with fresh chilli and not shy with the heat. Delivery was bang on time too.

Best Indian food around, however the eta's of late are very inaccurate.

Had a takeaway tonight via just eat, never again, cold, tasteless, half an hour late think they may have found the chips on the way to me totally inedible, maybe Farnborough to Frimley is to far, back to Kims plaice for fish and chips instead

Food was 1 hr 30 mins arriving... was cold.... expensive and also rubbish. Chicken tikka was just grilled chicken with nothing else done. The madras was lurid orange and tangy... Nothing like a madras. Will never go here again

So rude!!! Staff are rude and confrontational. Food has gone down hill, often luke warm with stale poppadoms. The customer is always right.. well in the case of vindaloo the customer is NEVER right. So many other good Indian takeaways in the area! Will never bother with this place again.
