I have just called the make an order and the man that answered the phone was so rude. Absolutely disgusting customer service and instead of apologising asked me to do I want to cancel the order. I’m so annoyed and upset to say the least. This is no way to speak to customers due because phone signal is poor and couldn’t hear me well. What a disgrace. Do not waste ur money on people like this, there are so many more nice Chinese’s around castle Bromwich to order from. I hope he doesn’t do this to another person as it’s left me very upset

Food was disgusting ,dripping in grease. Had a full refund of uber. Never again. Supposed to be a gravy with the meal.looked like black bean sauce .scraggy chips as well.

Black bean sauce dishes are delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant

Food lovely, but unfortunately when requested a 8pm delivery on Bookyup through their website but it arrived an hour and a half early. Offered to recook but such a waste of food. Pains me to throw so much food away.

The food was alright but not worth the 2 hour wait and the 2 phone calls it took for it to arrive. Not even an apology from the driver (Were 9 minutes away)

Many chinese restaurants in the area, we have tried them all and were always disappointed. We finally found one that we are happy with, it’s clean in there and lovely staff as well as the best chinese food in the area for sure!

Food was arwful... had couple mouthfuls n 2 ribs rest went in the bin.. both me n my partner have both been bad this morning will definitely not eat here again.

This take-away is excellent, their food is lovely, hot and plentiful, would recommend.

1st time ordering and I have to say the delivery was very quick and efficient. The food was perfectly packaged and presented and was piping hot and totally delicious.... Will definitely be using them again

I’m so angry and upset with my order at this place and what it’s done to myself and my family which ended in really bad food poisoning. Ordered food after I done a long flight as crew to and from Tenerife. What a mistake . My food came and it wasn’t worth the price . Beef curry was only made of three ingredients. Chucks of onion , chewy beef & the sauce itself . Every beef curry Iv had from other places has more veg such as mushroom etc in it . I will say the chicken balls was nice and a good portion . my son is only 1 1/2 & ate the same food as myself and my partner . He’s I’ll with food poisoning symptoms same as myself and my partner . My flight was nearly diverted and I would’ve been offloaded aboard alone as I was I’ll on my inbound flight home which as crew it very bad. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from here . Uber eats doesn’t have a way of me reporting the food from here and a way for me to get my money back like just eat does . Beyond fuming how much discomfort my family is being out through because of poor food hygiene. It’s like they’ve put laxatives in the food like what the hell !

Second to none always have special curry tried the Singapore chow main absolutely gorgeous,set a delivery time right on cue hot and tasty food wont go anywhere else

1st time user. Came on time. Fresh, hot with a complete order. Every item was delicious. Seriously recommend this chinese takeway. paying a bit more was worth it for the better quality food. The prawn balls were fantastic. Will defo use again.

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU NEED DOORSTEP DELIVERY. Absolute disgrace. Refused to bring my order to the front door, so just walked off. Phoned the restaurant who were extremely unprofessional and rude and put the phone down on me. Have young children in the flat and cannot come to collect it from outside. Paid for my food already via Uber eats. Restaurant should not be on Uber eats as it states doorstep delivery, which is not the case as their driver refused and the restaurant tried to blame covid. Other restaurants bring the food up, more like the driver is too lazy. Shame too as I always tip as a thankyou for bringing it up. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU NEED DOORSTEP DELIVERY

Food arrived an hour after estimated delivery time to be stone cold. Food very bland and sauces were watery. Worst chinese meal we've come across- Asda's ready meals are better!

Used wok and roll about 4 times in the last 3 months. Brilliant service. Food exceptional. Never been dissopointed. Driver's lovely. Very friendly people on phone.

2nd time in ordering from these guys as the first time took over 2 hours to arrive and when it came was the wrong order. I thought I would give them a 2nd chance to my regret! Waiting 1.5 hours still not arrived. Shocking service over priced meals never again. My advice stay away and go to China Dragon. Shocking!

Been using golden bird for 20 years but the food here is absolutely gorgeous this place is my new regular. The crispy beef is amazing!

Bought from this Chinese for over 10 years. They changed the name unexpectedly and prices increased. Food is awful in comparison to how it used to be (we have relatives who used to drive across the city just to get Chinese from here) and smaller portion sizes too. Will no longer use!
