Zizzi - Portsmouth in Portsmouth

Visited Zizzi’s Portsmouth (Gunwharf Quays) with my Partner for our 1 Year Anniversary. Our first date when we got together was Zizzi so we thought we would keep the tradition going and visit for our Anniversary. Our server Julia was very polite and helpful as we had a One4All voucher to use for our bill which was gifted from some friends, and I wanted to make sure I was able to use it! We were! Service was very quick, efficient, and the food was top quality! Warm, fresh, and tasty! My Partner had the Mozzarella Bomb for the Starter and I had the Bruschetta, both was exquisite and presentation was appealing! For the mains I had the Spaghetti Chorizo Carbonara which was creamy and cheesy. My Partner for her main had the Spaghetti Bolognese which is her favourite! Finally, for Dessert we both had the Salted Caramel Chocolate Brownie! Our Drinks for the night was a Morello Cherry Refresher Mocktail and a Passion Fruit Sparkler which, both, were refreshing and left us both wanting more! The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars in the pricing, it’s very pricey for what you receive and for the size of portions but well worth it as a treat every now and again! Would go back in a heartbeat!

Darina was fun, efficient and cared for our enjoyment of the meal and experience. Keep her, she's good.

Beautiful day, and beautiful lunch. Serve was impeccable. Our server was Marcin, and definitely made this experience a great one.

Darina really looked after us on a busy Saturday night, still finding time to recommend drinks to us! We really enjoyed food and cocktails; the new Morello Cherry Sour is delicious! We shared a Sticky Pig pizza and a Pesto Rosso pasta, both amazing. We’ll be back!

This was a really good experience. I had ordered the carne picante, but without chilli…it came and was really spicy! Aivars (sp?) from the Gunwharf restaurant was so understanding of it and got me a new (less spicy) pizza! He was also really funny and definitely made the night better.

Booked a table for 10 people for a reunion of ex-army colleagues on a very busy Thursday evening. We received a warm welcome on arrival and were seated at our table where our waiter introduced himself (sorry can’t remember his name but a very friendly Italian guy). Drink orders were taken and arrived quickly and he advised us to take our time browsing the menus and that when he saw us close all our menus he would take that as a signal to take our orders (nice touch). Despite the restaurant being full the food arrived in a reasonable time and everybody said how good the food was. Our waiter was extremely attentive and interacted with the group very well, happy to take photos for us and make sure we had everything we needed. The evening couldn’t have gone better and I would thoroughly recommend Zizzi Portsmouth for anybody wanting a great night out with excellent food and impeccable service.

Darina and Craig were so fantastic and looked after us amazingly! They really went above and beyond to make our visit special and memorable. Martin was so lovely and helpful booking in our table. Claire was also so unbelievably friendly and lovely, and made us feel really special. The food was out of this world as usual, always love our visits to Zizzi! Thank you for having us! X

Currently away with work on my own and generally would eat in the hotel but as the hotel isn’t great I decided to go out to the restaurants on my doorstep which was a new experience for me. I went into Bella Italia and let’s just say it was obvious that a table for one wasn’t welcome so went next door to Zizzi where I have now eaten two days in a row. Even though it was busy the two servers made me feel very welcome and remembered me on my second visit which was lovely. Martin was attentive without being overbearing or intrusive making sure I always had water etc I would highly recommend this as a lovely place to eat, the location is great, it has a lovely atmosphere, the food was delicious and the staff are fabulous.

Exceptional service by Martin. We had arrived on time but unfortunately had to wait 15 minutes before we could be seated on a Wednesday, as soon as we sat down he ensured we had drinks. Once we had had a minute to look at the menus came back and took our starters/mains. Constantly checked on us and ensuring the food was good. Engaged with us regularly making us laugh and leaving us with a great meal and experience!

Beautiful spot by the Dock, paired with Beautiful food and drinks. Great service provided by Martin tonight, who was quick and helpful as well as funny. The pizza is very good and cooked to order, the trimisu martini is very good. The menu has a wide amount of options for all types of eaters, but would highly recommend the pizza, pasta and salads. Portions are a decent size as well as balanced 😄
