The best restaurants serving African food in Windsor and Maidenhead South East

It’s the good I was extremely concerned How this people can trade in this beautiful area and can still get away with it , the food was absolutely disgusting From the starter to the mains . Very disappointed. The Humus was watery and disgusting… the spicy potatoes (batata hara ) We’re made with potatoes salad , that’s was wrong , the same potatoes were everywhere in the dinner . My Couscous had no flavours It was like something put together from left overs , the veg were cooked separately they had no taste ….the meat had no texture My partner didn’t touch her mains , the chicken tagine was horrible…. Then they asked us if we would like to have a mint tea … they could see that we haven’t had much to eat … they weren’t concerned at all they just wanted to sales us more food It’s the usual stuff, people who are not interested in you . They just there for the money That’s the last time I’ll step my foot at this restaurant

Good place, shame that all shareholders let a guy who has zero interest and experience in dealing with customers, who bullies the staff, really embarrassing! I would not recommend this place, especially if you have to deal with so called manager of the pub. Had a great night, but he interacted and told staff off for making a drink I asked for, when I interacted he became extremely rude, lesson for management- people come there to spend money not to be told off.

Couldn't find fault with it. Excellent service. The food was delicious and super tasty. It's been a long time since I've had such a good experience in a restaurant.

First time we have visited this place. Drove over an hour to meet family. Very awkward to find and park. Restaurant felt very tightly packed in with tables, and not much room to move. We were a party of 7 and the service was awful. Everything was very slow and we spent a lot of time waiting. We were never asked if we would like more drinks, if the food was ok. We had to constantly try to make eye contact with someone in order to try and get a drink, or order food. Some of the waiters were rude, and one had an attitude problem, making us feel uncomfortable. Once ordered they even forgot one of our parties food so we had to wait until they made it before we could start, meaning our food was getting cold. When it did come out there was no apology. The food was overpriced for what we recieved. The chicken was extremely dry, the steak over cooked. These dishes also don’t come with any accompaniments and if you want a bit of salad with your steak for example you have to order this as a separate dish. I can’t see how they can charge over £20 for just a chicken breast and chips. Drinks were also overpriced, and as in a previous review this place has a captive audience because of where it is.

Here is the most cost-effective lunch option after visiting Windsor! Because other restaurants nearby are very expensive. A quarter of the grilled chicken is enough to fill you up. The spicy sauce tastes very special and is much better than KFC. It’s not too spicy. You can try it boldly. It is recommended to pair it with macaroni and Portuguese salad, plus all-you-can-eat drinks. It’s great for tourists. A very satisfying and cost-effective meal!

Visited with a group for dinner. It was my first time there and what a hidden gem. Sat in the garden on a beautiful summer evening with great food and friendly staff. Well worth a look and I hear the Sunday roasts are 👌
