Friendly and welcoming staff from the outset. There were 7 of us in total and we all chose our own toppings for our handmade bars. There were also lots of chocolatey nibbles to eat as we crafted. We learnt how to make filled chocolates with decorative transfers and rolled truffles too! Everything was explained and demonstrated clearly and we enjoyed delicious hot drinks too. I would highly recommend this experience.

Mollie Rocker Bakery in Retford is a pastry paradise that deserves all the praise! This bakery is a delightful gem in the heart of town, and it has quickly become my go-to spot for scrumptious treats. First and foremost, the pastries here are heavenly. From flaky croissants that melt in your mouth to decadent cakes that are simply divine, Mollie Rocker Bakery's offerings are a true indulgence. The ambiance is equally charming. With its cozy, rustic decor and the sweet aroma of freshly baked goods wafting through the air, it's the perfect place to escape for a moment of bliss. Whether you're sipping on a perfectly brewed coffee or enjoying one of their delectable pastries, you'll find yourself in a little slice of pastry heaven. The staff at Mollie Rocker Bakery are friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience. They're always happy to help you choose the perfect treat or offer a warm recommendation. In summary, Mollie Rocker Bakery is a true gem in Retford. If you have a sweet tooth or simply appreciate the artistry of exceptional baked goods, this bakery is an absolute must-visit. Prepare to be delighted, and don't be surprised if you find yourself becoming a regular customer—I certainly have!

Roast potatoes were very disappointing, some were fresh and some were old so a couple crispy but most were warmed back up so rock hard skin and soft brown potato inside. The meal deal comes with a soft drink not a beer & you can't pay extra to swap either. I personally don't think it's value for money @ £15 for the average meal. I've tried it twice now but won't rush back.

Disclosure: I GM two groups at The Leaky Teacup LTD, while I am not an employee of this fine establishment, I certainly do have a bias towards it and it's proprietor. Food: I was tempted to give this 3 stars, simply because I have grown accustomed to the meals that are served here. However, I have recently discovered the chilli cheese bites that have rekindled my love of the food served here. The menu itself is fairly limited in terms of savoury food, however the food that is served is well worth the price snd more. That's not to mention the wide variety of scrumptious cakes on offer that cycle irregularly throughout the week. That is to say, if you want a certain cake, get it before it's gone. Service: As there are very few employees at this location, and given the layout if the building, it is entirely understandable that the speed of service is slightly slower than one woukd like. That being said, I have always received my order with a smile. My hot food comes hot, and my cold food comes cold. Atmosphere: Nothing bad can be saud about the atmosphere. The upstairs RPG rooms are perfect for hosting game nights and small birthday party events. (I myself have had the pressure of experiencing three birthdays here) The main floor contains many tables so sit either I'm a large group or alone. And the shelves of this floor are well stocked with board games free to use for all.

According to the posts that I read before visiting this this establishment that 99 percent of the reviews gave this place a good score on the food and service. I visited this place yesterday evening 20/10/24 we pre ordered 24 hours in advance as we were told it would cut down the waiting times for the food to be served. So I ordered the garlic mushrooms in a cream sauce, granted it was served fairly quickly but was only just warm and 50% of what was on my plate was half a bread bun that was soggy from the sauce and in my opinion it didn't have much of a taste of garlic very disappointed as was my brother in law who ordered the same thing. For the main meal I ordered the mushroom and truffle risotto with a serving chicken another disappointment yes it arrived relatively hot on a plate but in my opinion was over cooked and served incorrectly and again I failed to taste the truffle big big disappointment very much doubt I'll be paying them another visit anytime soon
