The best restaurants in Rothley and Thurcaston Charnwood East Midlands

Stayed in bridal suite night before wedding. The hotel is very dated and although it is a old hotel, the carpets and curtains need changing. The rooms are not clean at all And the breakfast is the worst breakfast I have ever tasted at 52 years of age. It tasted like the curtains looked and was not freshly cooked. Even the cereals and other breakfast bits had a horid taste. Also not a good place to stay if you are asthmatic

Been to ellis tea rooms today food very good Unfortunately we asked for a pickle and cheeses sandwich but we're charged 75 pence for a teaspoon of pickle. On the menu they have add on such as cucumber tomatoe and onion all at 75 pence for one sandwich how can you charge 75 pence for a slice of tomatoe. Absolutely outrageous will not be going again .

I always enjoy their food & the staff are so nice. I do not order from other take aways as I found them disappointing or do not trust them so I'm so glad I found Anmol :) I did have a bit of a melt down over the restaurant missing my drink off the order as I'm on the spectrum so i so apologise. But the driver rectified this mistake by purchasing the missing drink & the lady was so lovely on the phone. Thank you so much for the excellent food & service & for allowing me to enjoy a nice occasional takeaway for a reasonable price.

Great atmosphere, cosy and welcoming. The food was delicious! Serving staff were friendly, prompt service too. Menu options were good both on the main menu and festive menu. Good value for money

Amazing pizzas with super fast and friendly delivery. Update: unfortunately delivery has become crazily slow. Having been a customer for many years we are now looking for an alternative. Delivery promised in 1 hour can frequently take closer to 2. Such a shame.

Previous negative reviews from 5 years ago need to be ignored. I pop in here now and then, when working in the area....welcomed with a smile, very chatty staff, and the food is banging! Will be back 💪

The food is really tasty and delicious. The burgers patty is cooked just right and the döner is really flavorful. I had a great experience at Pizza Inn.

Had booked the offer for 2 for £25 afternoon tea. Staff very friendly and helpful even though it was very busy. Was disappointed in the tea itself as only got 3 finger sandwiches which weren’t appetising , 2 tiny macaroons, a chocolate brownie and 2 scones. There was unlimited tea/ coffee but we had to ask for refills. Not worth it. The garden centre is quite nice.
