Lovely little chip shop with friendly staff. It is on the seafront with benches outside which are regularly wiped and maintained. The food is always freshly cooked without fail and I do think they are reasonably priced for the seaside. It is the best chip shop in mablethorpe, we have family in mablethorpe and they always enjoy it when we visit and all go onto the front to eat here.

One of the few places open late night in June but smelt good and I was starving so went for the 1/2 LB grilled chicken burger with lettuce, onion, tomato and burger sauce. Freshly cooked to order and it was perfectly grilled but a bit of a mess to eat with so much on it (my fault, not there's). Cheap too!

Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. We pre-booked a table and when we arrived the restaurant was freezing, to the point we all ate our food wearing our coats. The one positive I would give is the food is relatively well priced, however the food was not great. I ordered a chicken curry and was given a lamb curry (unfortunately the lamb was very fatty and there was very little meat). Another member of our party only had a couple of spoons of their curry as it was very greasy. Overall I would say all the Curry sauces were quite watery and lacked flavour and definitely not like any curry any of us had ever experienced. We ordered poppadoms as a starter and found the accompanying onion tray to be very dry, almost as if it had been out a while. All in all we couldn't wait to leave due to being freezing cold and being very disappointed in the food. Due to being a local restaurant we wanted to give it a try but until there are major improvements we won't be returning unfortunately.

Even the rats were complaining! Where to start with this abomination of a cafe? To spend too much time writing a detailed review would be giving it credit that it doesn’t deserve. Quality - the quality of the food and presentation would befit that at a leper colony of the Middle Ages! VFM - inedible ‘food’ has no value! Cleanliness - Steptoe’s yard was clean by comparison! Staff - trained or even untrained monkeys would be more professional, hygienic, competent and friendly! We ordered 2 adult breakfasts and 2 kids meals plus drinks. They overcharged us by £8… it should have come to £16 but they took £24 off of my card. They refunded the £8 in cash after I questioned them. The food… absolutely shocking! I tried two or three mouthfuls and was so revolted by it that I spat it out. My daughter tried a mouthful and declined to further engage. It was the worst food I’ve ever tasted anywhere in the world! We returned the uneaten food and asked for a refund - which they declined and the cook then became verbally abusive to us. The establishment apparently only has a one star rating on ‘Scores On The Doors’ with the locals referring to it as the salmonella cafe! Local people told us that it’s the worst ‘cafe’ in Mablethorpe! AVOID - AVOID - AVOID!

Earlier this afternoon before the restaurant had opened I walked by and toke a picture of the menu and phone number posted in the shop window. Just tried to order and phone number is invalid. Tried to Google another number and same one comes up. No idea what food is like because no way to order it. It's can't find any website with number on or a decent menu to read tbh. It's 2022 you can make website on square space or something in like 10 mins. This kind of thing puts me off ever trying places again :(
