We come here on a daily basis. Food is always great and enjoyable. Staff and owners are polite and friendly. Loads of food and drinks to choose from at great prices. Would recommend to anyone visiting skegness.

So we went for a takeaway and chose here as it was 2nd in the reviews and didn't have any bad reviews. We were looking forward to having a nice Chinese. It all looked nice, except the sweet and sour sauce was very runny like water and then we started eating it, we were so hungry we ate it but I thought this chicken ball tastes funny. I then tried another and I wasn't sure if the meat was pink or if it was the sweet and sour sauce I had put all over it, so i continued to eat it. I couldn't eat it all before I started feeling sick. Well none of us had a good night's sleep as we were all ill. I WILL NOT BE GOING HERE AGAIN AND DEFINITELY WONT BE RECOMMENDING it to other people that I know come on holiday or have holiday homes here. We were very disappointed and very ill.

Love your chips but please update your opening times. We've walked over so many time's now across the whole of Skegness from North Shore for tea. This week alone thurs 4.40 closed Friday 5.40 closed and advertised to be open 5.30pm and 7pm. We specially like that you use vegetable oil and have separate pans for your chips and other fries thats why we walk so far passed lots of other chips shops but not willing to try again if you're closing times are unreliable. We are going to travellers catch next time.

Quick Sunday seaside trip, walked down chip shop alley in Skeg, and called in Flippers. So glad we did! Super nice staff in the restaurant, prices great. Cod was hot, fresh, and had perfect crispy batter. All food good, generous portion sizes. Might be my new favourite Skeggy chippy?

OH MY GOD! We used to have taj mahal in ingomells, not no more the portions was massive, the onion bhajs was monsters not like a small squash of onion like most places, the nan bread with cheese was full not skimping the cheese. That was a meal it's self, they could definitely double/triple there price and keep the portions the same and would still pay it. The best thing that could happen to skegness has happened thank you saffron!! Will see you again soon.

Pizzas are always excellent however i tried the pepperoni wrap which was disappointing at best, small and lacked filling. Also cashback offered on the app was not available to me despite multiple purchases, no reason given for refusal! Which is more annoying than the rubbish wrap. The staff are polite and efficient.

The best dinky donuts I have ever had. Fab service from a very cheerful retailer. Donuts were cooked fresh with added cinnamon by request (50p extra) and they were fantastic. Fluffy, warm but not too hot, and critically not oily. Much recommended and for the price it's rude not to.

Love this place always a good atmosphere

The BEST in Skegness of the fish and chips that I've had whilst I've been here. Went to try it for the gluten free batter but just came away generally super impressed. Great sized piece of fish. Actually was hard for them to close the takeaway box. More importantly the fish was fully skinned, which made it a delight to eat. Chips were well cooked, and some very crispy ones. Mushy peas came as part of the overall deal making it even better value and they were also good. Not too runny. Could have been a tiny bit thicker for my taste. Lovely staff who were so friendly when I went in one evening as they were closing and I'm so glad I made the effort to come back. Don't fall for the glitz of other places and a large queue. It may not be on the main road but you'll be going in the right direction.

28/12/24 Had a lovely pizza, plenty of topping, fresh, hot, tasty, 10 out of 10. Doner lamb wrap was the best I've had, so tasty, soft meat, wrapped perfectly and presented well. Chips were fresh and hot, really crispy and tasty. 10 out of 10 for everything.

Fish was huge, battered sausage was greasy and flavourless. Chips were ok. Avoid if you don’t like birds, they were a constant nuisance and always flying around inside the restaurant and sitting on the tables.
