The best restaurants in Sawley Erewash East Midlands

Came in Christmas Eve and we have decided it’s going to be an annual family event! The food, services and atmosphere was impeccable! Thank you soooo much for starting our Christmas in such a fabulous way.

Lovely breakfast again. I come quite regularly and always get what I ask for even though I can be a little bit funny with my eating habits. Thumbs up lol

Really nice pub, all the locals are great, the pedigree is spot on, great for a game of darts and a lovely open fire.

Great place for real ales and craft ciders. Nice beer garden for the better days

Called for Sunday carvery. It's not the usual style. You place an order with a waiter, and it is prepared in the kitchen with no input from you. 2x carvery 1x decaf tea and 1x small white wine, £43. The veg were andante, and the roast potatoes were big with very thick hard skins. Had to sit in the bar area, not in the restaurant. Was very disappointed with food and price.

Worth noting that it’s CASH ONLY Aside from the obvious technological issues with regarding payment, the food was good. The salt and pepper chips are lovely. The young lady on the counter was super friendly and super helpful. Will definitely go there again.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. Delicious food and huge pot of tea. They went above and beyond to make it a special occasion.

Order placed online. Order was accepted online, email confirmation received and credit card transaction was posted, but when I turned up to collect, the shop was closed.

Fantastic place. Fresh as can be and taste amazing. Fantastic prices for fish and kebabs. Only downside is they don't deliver and no menu online.

Order three kebabs from this place on Friday, The tray of donner meat was microwave from frozen the oil from the meat went absolutely everywhere, And the other two kebabs portions what's pathetic for the money, not happy and gutted and won't be having nothing from their again....
