The best restaurants in Erewash East Midlands

Tried this for the first time and it’s amazing! Best Chinese in long Eaton. Everything was hot, the rice was fresh and fluffy. The chicken was good quality. Got a few dishes and the quality was consistent with all of them.

So the speaker doesn’t work properly when you do a drive-thru order and they make you sit in a queue and wait till you get to the window to repeat the number because they can’t hear it properly. So then you’ve been queueing for 10 minutes to find out your food wasn’t being prepared. Took 15 minutes to collect an order. Not cool! Litterally the oppoite of fast food. Do not do drive through collect from here!

Terrible service. Was marked delivered at around 8:30, but had to phone restaurant at 9 pm to be told the naan bread was nearly done and food would be coming soon. Ordered it at 7pm, they give false delivery time and bring it at 9:15!

Ordered through uber eats. Food arrived fairly quickly however we received no cheese, it wasn’t toasted and no sauce

Ordered a "New Yorker" Pizza after work on Friday for collection. Went to pick it up, and my name wasn't on the screen, so asked for the pizza and they gave me it with some free cookies. I noticed the cookies were warm, but the pizza was almost cold, I ordered it 10 minutes before I arrived to pick it up. It is obvious that they had another order for a New Yorker that didn't get picked up a few hours before and saved it to give to another customer (me). They threw in the free cookies as a mechanism of undoing (behavioural defense mechanism) in order to correct their wrong. 100% will not be ordering from here again, they've lost a customer and I'll take my business elsewhere. I hope this branch gets new management/new employees as their work ethic is beyond pathetic. How hard is it to make a fresh pizza?

Possible 30 minute wait for coffee and cake! Seated, ignored for 10 minutes. One person taking orders stood at station and didn't check if anyone was waiting. Another couple came in and served immediately.

The service was so slow that it would have been quicker to go home and prepare it myself. Nearly all the tables were littered with dirty crockery and left over food. It was obvious that they were short staffed but they should have stopped serving cooked food and just carried on with drinks and cakes. It was the most awful experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I will accept that what staff there was did as well as was possible but should not have attempted to do cooked meals. Gordon Bradley

Received an out of date food item bought Monday 9 Dec expiry reads Nov 24th on package unable to get any UK customer service

Friendly reception (had pre-booked) on arrival and shown straight to a table and issued menus and drinks cards. Wait staff all very friendly and efficient. It's the food that lets it down! Starters were brought quickly but the (overpriced) starter platter was mostly garnish; the 2 chicken satai and 2 pork skewers were interchangeable (but the sweet chilli dipping sauce was very good), the tiny portion of battered squid was well cooked. The Thai fish cakes were tasty but lacking in chilli and lemon grass. Mains were also overpriced and the small portion of beef massamann curry was lacking in flavour, had only 2 small cubes of beef in it and the sauce had an oily layer on top, as if the coconut milk had split. The pad Thai was average with two small pieces of chicken in it but lots of noodles. Sadly there was no omelette, flavour was again lacking and the whole thing was excessively sweet. Somewhere in the curries there was an underlying taste reminiscent of dried sage but there was a distinct lack of traditional Thai flavours like Holy basil, fish sauce, lemon grass and chillies! The red wine we chose was thin and acidic - certainly not worth the £25ish per bottle they charged. Did not have any dessert as nobody offered us anything after the main courses. Overall, ambience OK, service VERY GOOD and food VERY DISAPPOINTING.

Qué lugar tan deprimente y caro. £ 4. 25 por una rebanada delgada de tiffina. Ve a ver la exposición ya que es increíble, pero toma tu propia bebida y tentempié.

It’s one thing asking you to pay a 24% increase in price then reduce the kebab down by 30% Been using this kebab shop since it opened but what they are doing is making me now look around for better value to money I know there are increased prices everywhere but it comes to something when you order two kebabs and chips and it’s cheaper to go to Nando’s

Put through the order of 2x waffles and a brownie, soon got a call from the restaurant to say they had ran out of the waffle mixture, which was absolutely fine they offered to make something else and added extra ice cream which was great of them. Thank you for that, I got the churros instead and a cookie dough. Really tasty and great portions, are the churros suppose to be spicy? Was a good spice but never had spicy ones before.

Food is fine, nothing has made me unwell, has that classic Chinese take away vibe inside. But it will always be late, collection or delivery best bet is to collect. But you're talking at leat 20mins after your reorder slot and for delivery I've had to wait over an hour past the stated delivery time. If you are hungry don't order, go elsewhere. If you aren't feeling ravenous it's fine
