We had a small conference before lockdown. Great service. we had picnic bags and the sandwiches were great.

If you take your coffee (or tea) seriously, you must pop into the Major Coffee shop. They will make your coffee to order from the beans of your choice (they stock a remarkable range) and it invariably tastes fantastic. The same goes for their range of teas. Friendly, prompt service and very inexpensive (I thought so, for the quality of the products) and if you sit in, rather than takeaway, you can enjoy the mellow blues playing low on the sound system. Super atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Delicious, But a bit messy. But this can be a nice thing (With plates). But without plates this can be problematic

Went for new Year's Eve and the food was absolutely amazing every course was perfect, the staff are brilliant and can't do enough for you all together a fantastic experience and brilliant night thank you all very much

Food is good and the ambience is nice but service is incredibly slow. 20 minutes wait to order and then another 30 minutes for our food.

From arriving to leaving, the whole experience was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Helpful smiling staff. Food was really good and the pub itself is so well set up and decorated. We will be back.

Yummy food served with a smile as always. Every time I am here it's a happy place.

A small group of us arrived and easily found tables to sit at. Orders are placed at the counter and delivered to your table. A seasonal offering of turkey, stuffing and cranberry cob was available and was delicious . A slight downside was one order came without an item and one order was probably placed wrong by one of our group. The owner apologised for the mix up but there was nothing to apologise for. Will definitely try to return before the Christmas cob finishes.

The best Chinese take away around. Have only ordered from here since it opened. Fantastic service and so friendly. Would highly recommend it.

I had forester chicken the portions were very meagre there was no cheese on the chicken it came out with no barbeque sauce on the chicken was dry and some of the chips were hard. Will not be coming back to this establishment it certainly was not VFM.

TRIED to get a drink mid afternoon on a Friday. It was empty but the doors were open and it looked welcoming!! In fact there was a roaring fire to emphasise the welcome. Waited 5 mins and no sign of any staff!! Not very good you'd think they'd want the service. SO WE LEFT AND SPENT MY MONEY ELSEWHERE.
