The best restaurants in St Ann's Nottingham East Midlands

In verband met de verjaardag van mijn partner gekozen voor een een not so average afternoon tea. Deze variant bestond uit allerlei warme en hartige hapjes en werd afgesloten met een heerlijk toetjes assortiment. En we konden hierbij kiezen voor een lekkere cocktail van de kaart. Uiteindelijk hebben we zelf ook nog 2x gekozen voor een andere lekker cocktail. Het personeel was gastvrij en vriendelijk en de locatie kleurrijk, gezellig en warm ingericht. Het is onderdeel van een keten waarbij het waarschijnlijk op avonden in de weekenden erg druk is. Wij waren er op een rustige dinsdagmiddag. Zeker een aanrader en wat anders dan een standaard afternoon tea!

This was our second trip to the restaurant and our expectations were generally met in almost every area. The onion soup was full of flavour. The chicken meal although nice was slightly underwhelming in taste. The 12 oz steak was an absolute highlight ( be warned it is a lot to consume along with the soup). The sticky toffee was nice and as it was my partner's birthday they done a nice job with the sparklers I provided. The resturant was quite full with others using the groupon options. It would have been nice to give my partner a complimentary birthday drink. The champagne in the glass when it was first bought was slightly flat and had to be returned which was slightly disappointing.

Stunning pub both to look at and to drink in. Had a few pints this weekend. They always have a good pint of cask. The interior is amazing. Always a welcoming and friendly atmosphere with great staff. They done an amazing job with the Christmas trees outside this year. Looks beautiful.

I ordered a beef hot pot and egg fried rice with chicken for my daughter. They charged me and gave me two egg fries which wasn’t needed as I already had a noodle hot pot. I asked for a refund for their mistake and they said they do not offer them. Then I had my hot pot and it was full of fat more than there was beef. I have been here a few times and it’s been lovely but this time my bowl was full of fat. I showed them this and told them it’s never been like this, they apologised and did nothing about this. Money wasted and no help from their mistakes. Awful customer service for this.

Came to bustler with a big group celebrating a birthday. This is venue ideal for big groups and couples alike. Has a large inside and outside area. Inside there is a bad and dj and some gaming tables for entertainment. Outside are three food trucks - loaded fries, pork based rolls and Malaysian. I had Malaysian and it was fresh and tasty. Drinks were very good and bar staff were superb. Dj was on point particularly playing soul, funk, hip hop and reggae with some other classic cuts. Made the atmosphere great. I'd highly recommend here for a lively night in a great new are of Nottingham City centre.

Una fantástica primera visita a GB Café. La variedad de comida era de primera clase y la calidad excepcional. Tenía el Singapore Vermicelli que era tan sabroso y simplemente perfecto. Otros en el partido tenían el Laksa y Full English. Todos tenían lo que querían. El ambiente era muy agradable y el personal muy servicial. El precio es justo también. Estoy triste de vivir tan lejos - sin duda volveré allí cuando esté en Nottingham la próxima vez.

Visited a friend in Notts yesterday and we stumbled across this little hot spot. Great little place with indoor and outdoor seating and both areas extremely clean and presentable. Lovely range of food items with a selection for everyone from breakfasts, to toasted sandwiches, fresh sandwiches, smoothies and a great selection of delicious cakes! The staff are absolutely lovely and really helpful. One of the staff helped in my hut if need when there was a spillage over our backage containing outfit changes for that night. He couldn’t be more helpful in offering to help dry my clothes and replacing the spilt drink. The food was beautiful and the quality and freshness means I’ll be back on my return to Nottingham. Definitely worth a visit if you’re passing!

TLDR: best hidden gems in Notts - very good food (super fresh) - excellent prices - very good bubble tea - long wait times for food if busy

Whether it's a night out with my partner or need somewhere safe to go to after a late shift at work this is one of my favourite places. The staff are friendly, drink selection is really good and they sometimes bring a lovely dog out on the floor! Very conveniently placed by the bus station!

Went for my birthday. A lovely lady called Elisha was incredible and made my day very special. Was meant to post this ages ago I’ve been so busy! Give that girl a raise she deserves the world. Hope she reads this/can have this passed on to her and give her a treat. We need more ppl like her in the world ❤️

We had an amazing experience which was mainly due to our server Courtney C, who was kind, patient and friendly! She took the time to help us and held the right amount of conversation. Food was delicious, different to your regular Indian Restaurant. Would highly recommend 👍

A very professional and efficient service. We were dining before going to the Theatre. Warm and quality food. A full restaurant...that says it all !

Update we first reviewed this place 1 star as food was shocking but after speaking to the owner Shaun he invited all 4 of us back to have food and drink on the house we went this evening 20th jan all i can say is thank you lovely food no issues came out in about 15 mins Well first time going today took 50 mins for food to come out i had the ribeye steak medium it was really fatty and raw wife's chicken burger was poor On the good side of it the waitress amelia was really pleasant
