Newly opened cafe in Teddington on The Causeway. Friendly service, excellent good and drinks. Just opened but a cut above most of the competition in the town.

I went there on Saturday with my husband for his birthday meal with my Son,daughter-in-law and granddaughter she is only three ,the staff were very pleasant and polite and made us feel very welcome . The food was delicious and very well priced . We were served and looked after by Georgina who was very helpful and knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly too made us all feel very welcome and was very kind to our granddaughter as she asked for ice cream for her pudding and it was no trouble at all fir her to have it as I don’t think ice cream only was on the menu but she got it , very happy with everything we had and the help from Georgina she was great .

Inaugural quiz 16th December 2024 The turnout was impressive and the crowd were enthusiastic. Lasted around two hours. We then had food which was amazing cooked by Tony and served by Denise Meadow was behind the bar working hard The ages of quizzers varied from 20 s to 80s so a brilliant mix from raucous young farmers to quieter oldies Hopefully it’ll return soon. !!!

My wife and I have just been to Jaipur for the 1st time.As we have moved from Birmingham we found indian restaurants & take aways locally a big disappointment. We have tried a number of places & yet to find 1 that gets to anywhere near the standard that we had become accustomed to, until now! We ordered a chicken pakora to share as our starters and we were certainly not disappointed with it the chicken was as tender as you could wish for the batter being very light & fluffy although the onion salad could be a little more plentiful the mango chutney was rich & mint dip had a little sharpness but absolutely lovely. For our mains I chose my usual chicken tikka pathia the sweetness &richness of flavour was just as it should be but not overly hot i in the past ask for the spice to be toned down a little but on this occasion i didn't bother, while my wife chose the butter chicken that was as smooth as silk with no spice just how she likes it with a vegetable pilau rice of which there could have been a little more & a peshwari naan that was so light & delicious it could easily be the highlight had it not been for the quality of the rest of the meal. The food was amazing as was the welcome by the service we received, if I could sayvan area to be improved upon it would be thavlt the ladies & gents toilets were very cold but all in all a great experience. We will return with friends sometime soon. Thankyou to all at Jaipur

Would highly recommend. We stopped at The Boot for dinner on our way further north for a night away. After our dinner experience here we are highly likely to stay at the pub after dinner next time so that we can better savour the experience. Our dinner was superb and evidently prepared by an extremely good chef and a highly competent kitchen. There are very few "gastro" pubs that actually live up to the name but this one does so without doubt, from the experience we had. I'm often either sceptical or disappointed by restaurants with numerous rosettes and food awards but this one does not disappoint. We had the 2 course set menu at £24.99 but would have happily spent more considering the quality of the food. The menu is sophisticated but not pretentious - fabulous takes on traditional English dishes. Cooking executed very well indeed and absolutely delicious. Added to this is a pub with a warm and welcoming feel with oodles of atmosphere due, I presume, to a good local crowd. Fabulous log burner made us suitably warm on a cold winter's night. Decor and set up very pleasant with good artwork on the walls. And, highly significantly, staff that were not just friendly but really knew their stuff and were clearly well trained in good service. Nothing worse than waiting staff pestering you to ask whether "everything is ok" so it was a delight to be served very professionally (but with a friendly vs. stuffy approach) and then being left alone to enjoy the meal. If you haven't, you need to visit The Boot.

Sadly now permanently closed for good. Great for walkers and locals, a real hub of the village. Fantastic food, great place. The villagr will be all the poorer for losing this unique eatery.😪😪🥺

Pub muy agradable. Gran ambiente. Fuimos con unos amigos y conocí a algunos amigos más para mi cumpleaños. Los dueños son gay pero muy amable y te hacen sentir bienvenido. Se lo recomendaría a cualquiera que vaya allí para beber.

I absolutely need to write a glowing review for Vicky at the Stanhope Arms! We needed support with upcoming meetings and catering. Vicky could not be more helpful, professional and proficient, completely meeting all of our needs as well as proactively offering solutions to our issues. As we use numerous locations nationwide for meetings, training sessions, and one-on-ones, we recognize the importance of having a supportive and efficient venue. Vicky ensured that we had everything necessary, alleviating any stress from the situation. Thank you, Vicky and the team, for your outstanding service. You have truly restored my faith in the value of excellent support.
