Great value for money food with a very good choice . The cheesy garlic bread is the best I've had anywhere and a great price. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The beers are very good and well kept

Went for tapas with a friend yesterday...at the now Compamigos as friend suggested it was new place to try. Truthfully, I won't be going again and won't recommend it. Selection is limited, the food is below average...taste is all similar tomato sauce base, patatas bravas (potatoes not cooked enough) with no real punch of authentic flavours. It is pricey for what it is...atmosphere was flat given that there was 5 tables only occupied. Save your money and try else where!

Recently spent my 70th Birthday here with a group of 26 of my dear friends and neighbours. Service and meals were both excellent, couldn't fault them,. Variety of meals were excellent for everybody. Service was tremendous, very thoughtful, attention details,excellent Highly Recommended

I had a very lovely meal and my cake was beautiful I was told it was made by someone called emily, give her a raise. Only downside was it was full of pensioners giving me death stares.

Brilliant service from the staff and very honest. Very nice choice of beers and lovely pizza.

visited this venue on saturday 07.12.24 for drinks with friends we had table service for the 3 hours we were there and the service provided by Kayla was outstanding. She was polite and pleasant and as there was 8 of us she cleared a table when one came available so we could all sit together. she made sure that we was all good for drinks throughout. very pleasurable evening. the pub has recently been refurbed and i can say for the better. will certainly come back.

4 of us visited for breakfast at this fantastic tea room. A great choice of food and drinks and great value for money with high quality ingredients. The food is consistently good every-time with excellent, friendly staff. Really can’t fault the place and would definitely recommend it.

I was enjoying a pint outside the Boardwalk in the afternoon on Sunday 27th October 2024 when one of the staff came around clearing the tables. She rather curtly enquired if I was ordering something as this was ‘the cafe area’ and the pub area was ‘over there’. It was a busy afternoon and I couldn’t see any places to sit ‘over there’. There is no signage to indicate the relevant cafe and bar areas – several types of tables are in use outside so the difference wasn’t obvious; it wasn’t evident that there even was a differentiation. Indeed, there were two vacant tables adjacent to mine, so it wasn’t as though I was preventing other customers from sitting down. I abandoned my drink and left the site immediately as I found the incident acutely embarrassing having taken place in front of other customers, and will not be returning. There is a clear need for improvement both in staff training in customer respect and courtesy; and in the signage outside the refreshment areas on the site. Subsequently, I contacted Mercia Marina who forwarded my e-mail to the relevant establishment on-site but they did not even deign to reply. Clearly, they have no interest in customer satisfaction. Mercia Marina needs to take responsibility for all the businesses in situ, as shortcomings in one outlet reflect badly on the reputation of the entire site.

We've eaten from here before and it was good. However, this time was very disappointing. I had the crispy beef strips in batter. I have these regularly from my usual Chinese so I expected them to be similar. Unfortunately they were just batter - I cut into one and it had the thinnest strip of beef in it that I just couldn't taste. Portion sizes were good but maybe focus on the quality of food as opposed to quantity.

Only 5 minutes away but the chicken and fried were stone cold. Gravy and rice were hot

No drinks or waffles , subway melt bread was rock hard and a right very poor quality of ingredients.

The staff are lovely but the amount of time you have to wait is very poor. I think I waited around 10 to 15 minutes and thought about leaving but decided to stick it out. The coffee was very nice but did not have any food as very expensive for what it was.

Ordered food through the drive through and the employee rushes myself and had to tell them to wait whilst we was still thinking on what we was having. Once we got the order and got home found they had made numerous mistakes and when we phoned them was talking g to them then they just hung up and tried numerous time calling g them back they just couldn't be bothered to pick up. I would certainly not go back there again also would advise other people to give this place a miss
