We went on a Friday night and had the teppenyaki for dinner for a family of five. We chose several dishes from the deluxe set menu and from the children’s menu. Can I just say Katana is a great and fun spot especially for a birthday or special event. We had Santos as our server/chef. He was excellent and made us all giggle, especially the children. Definitely worth visiting. We left with full bellies and the mains were very delicious, especially the teriyaki salmon.

Just had tea and a cake with my lovely work colleague friends. What a gorgeous little tea shop this is. We were greeted by a lovely member of staff armed with a hot sample of winter tea. They also had delicious vegan cupcakes and all of the treats were beautifully presented. To add to the experience, all of the teas, coffees, infusers etc. are available to buy. The shop itself smells of delicious things and the ambience is mellow and inviting. I was so impressed and will definitely be visiting again. All of the staff are super friendly - thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon in a perfect tea-lovers heaven!

Fantastic spot for lunch or dinner, the owners were extremely welcoming and attentive. They are very interesting people, with a love for travel and family. You can tell that there experiences have influenced their food massively as it was some of the best tapas myself and my partner have ever had and we’ve been all over too. We popped in for lunch and had the bread and oil, the prawns, the ribs and patas bravas. Top quality ingredients used throughout, decors lovely and rustic design and the atmosphere was just right for the venue. Had a great time and wished we could have stayed longer. Dan and Soph

A great supper on a hot summer's night in beautiful Stamford. Such delicious bread to start, pasta main and creme brule to follow. Thank you

Wow i visited the beginning of August and since then i’ve been 3 times! The generous portions, tasty food and good value for money are outstanding. The side salad and coleslaw that come with the sandwiches are delicious (I would buy the coleslaw to take home). I love it! I just worry that when the winter season approaches there won’t be enough space inside to sit down even more so with its increasing popularity. Just look at these huge sandwiches with a generous filling!

Just a lovely, quirky courtyard location with a secluded garden vibe. Individual tables and chairs with garden sheds and little cabins all surrounded by trees, shrubs and bushes. We only popped in for tea and toast, but it was beautifully prepared and presented with china cups and a lovely old teapot.

Great coffee (coming from a coffee snob!), AMAZING cookies (other cakes available) and lovely polite and welcoming staff, made up of local volunteers and kids on work experience. Sat here with my partner for an hour, drank coffee, ate cookies and read our books - Enjoyed it even more knowing our money was going to a good cause. Would definitely recommend!

My dining experience was absolutely exceptional. As a former chef of many years and an avid food enthusiast, I cannot praise the evening enough. From the warm welcome and complimentary glass of sparkling wine to the delightful amuse-bouche, every detail was thoughtfully executed. The venison course, in particular, was extraordinary, though every dish was impeccable. The intimate and personalised atmosphere, coupled with the outstanding hospitality from Tim and Paul, made the evening truly memorable. I will undoubtedly return.

An extensive choice of options on the menu. The food was outstanding. Freshly made. Tasty savoury as well as sweet options. I would have preferred tea leaves to tea bags so as to bring the cup of tea up to the same standard as the food. Though I did appreciate the china tea cup. Ambiance very much one of a traditional tea room. It and the service excellent. Highly recommended.

We visited today. We usually use Mad Hatters Tea Room but it was full. So we headed across the road to Lillies Lavander Hat and we were super surprised at how great the little place is! The breakfast is epic! The food is very good quality- the sausage in particular was very, very good quality and tasted so good!! Often cafes scrimp on sausage and bacon but that is not the case here! They also do a proper flat white which is great because often I have an issue finding smaller places that actually do proper flat whites so this is another win for this little place! So, if you want a great breakfast and a proper flat white. Make sure you visit this place!! Don’t be a sheep and just go to the other place across the road! Let’s support our other small businesses! If you don’t use them, you’ll lose them!
